Peripass vs. M.Folio

Peripass is a yard management platform that digitizes and automates truck, driver, dock, and site workflows from arrival to departure. The system allows drivers to complete self-service registration in their preferred language and specify the purpose of their visit without relying on manual assistance from yard personnel. This can simplify communication around safety instructions, required documentation, loading procedures, and other site-specific requirements. Peripass provides a real-time dispatching dashboard that functions as a digital twin of the yard and displays the status and location of trucks, trailers, containers, parking spaces, and docks. Dispatch teams can use this visibility to assign vehicles to appropriate locations while reducing the need for employees to walk through active truck areas. A Business Rules Engine supports automatic dispatching by assigning docks or other destinations when predefined conditions are met. The platform also supports digital task management for weighing, loading, unloading, and related activities that would otherwise rely on paperwork or multiple disconnected systems. Operational data is captured throughout each vehicle visit, including check-in time, gate entry, docking time, temperature during docking, and final departure. These records can help improve security, resolve disputed incidents, identify unauthorized or problematic visitors, and maintain an accurate log of people on site during emergencies. By combining self-service registration, workflow automation, live yard visibility, and historical tracking, Peripass helps logistics teams improve throughput while focusing staff attention on exceptions rather than routine movements. Peripass is designed for industrial sites, warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturers, and logistics operators that need more efficient, safer, and more visible yard operations.

M.Folio by Matilda Technologies is an enterprise-proven yard management system and electronic bill of lading (eBOL) platform purpose-built for warehouses, distribution centers, and 3PLs. It automates the manual processes that slow down yards, docks, and shipping offices across the supply chain. The yard management module handles the full driver workflow from gate to dock to departure. Drivers check in through self-service kiosks or mobile workflows with no app download or account required. For drivers who check in before arrival, the gate opens automatically via AI-powered license plate recognition. Computer vision inspection cameras validate trailer numbers, DOT numbers, seal presence, and visible damage, capturing a timestamped record for every vehicle. At check-out, the system verifies the driver is leaving with the correct trailer before the gate opens. The eBOL module replaces paper bills of lading with digital documents created, signed, and stored electronically. Drivers sign on a kiosk or mobile device. For LTL loads with multiple BOLs, a single signature covers all documents on that load. AI-native document processing extracts data from every BOL, making documents instantly searchable. Every digital bill of lading includes a complete audit trail for compliance. Dock scheduling lets carriers and brokers self-book appointments through a web portal against real-time dock availability. Fulfillment analytics unifies operational data across facilities into real-time dashboards and cross-site benchmarks. What sets M.Folio apart is the integration of purpose-built hardware and software. Self-service kiosks, automated lift gates, and an AI-native camera platform built on computer vision are all provided, installed, and supported by Matilda Technologies. One vendor for hardware, software, implementation, and ongoing support. Integrates with Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP, Infor, and other major WMS, TMS, and ERP systems. 300+ facilities deployed worldwide.
