The Confluence Content Publisher is a WordPress plugin crafted to assist teams in documenting their processes within Confluence and effortlessly sharing that content on their WordPress website. By linking to a selected Confluence space, this tool allows users to import selected published pages as WordPress posts or pages, maintaining key elements such as hierarchy, internal links, images, and attachments. Teams have the flexibility to upload content either as a draft or as a private page for review before publication, and they can choose to update modified pages manually or through an automated Pro scheduling feature. Moreover, a shortcode is provided to integrate individual Confluence pages directly into current WordPress pages. Visitors can easily access the published documentation via the website's theme and URL, which means they do not require an Atlassian account. The advanced Pro version further enhances capabilities by supporting multiple spaces, allowing for unlimited page imports, scheduling syncs, and incorporating WordPress role-based access controls for security. While some Confluence macros that do not have a WordPress equivalent may be excluded during the transfer, it is crucial to recognize that restrictions from Confluence are not carried over to WordPress; instead, access permissions are governed within the WordPress system itself. This cohesive integration not only optimizes the workflow for documentation teams but also guarantees that their content is organized and readily available on their public site, thereby improving overall accessibility for users. Ultimately, this plugin serves as a powerful tool for bridging the gap between Confluence documentation and WordPress publishing.
