What is ROBOGUIDE?

FANUC’s ROBOGUIDE is recognized as a top-tier software platform for offline programming and simulation of FANUC robots, enabling users to create, program, and visualize robotic work cells in a 3D environment without the necessity of physical prototypes. The software includes specialized modules like HandlingPRO, PaintPRO, PalletPRO, and WeldPRO, each tailored to specific applications such as material handling, painting, palletizing, and welding. By utilizing virtual robots and work cell models, ROBOGUIDE minimizes risks and costs, allowing users to effectively visualize and optimize both single and multi-robot configurations before implementation. This approach guarantees accurate cycle time calculations, verifies reachability, and detects potential collisions, ensuring the robot programs and cell designs are both practical and efficient. Additionally, ROBOGUIDE incorporates functionalities such as CAD-to-path programming, conveyor line tracking, and machine modeling, which greatly enhance the precision and flexibility of robotic operations. This comprehensive tool not only boosts productivity but also facilitates the smooth integration of automation across a range of industrial applications. As a result, users can expect a significant improvement in operational efficiency and a reduction in time-to-market for automated solutions.

What is Pallet Designer?

Pallet Designer is an innovative configuration tool tailored for palletizing, aimed primarily at automation system integrators and manufacturing operations. At its core is a highly advanced move-planning algorithm that autonomously formulates the entire sequence for the robot, deciding which cases the gripper will lift, the trajectory it will follow, and the arrangement order of the cases, all while avoiding any collisions with previously positioned cases and obstacles present in the workspace. This feature effectively removes the necessity for manual movement planning or teaching. Users can intuitively design layer patterns, pallet stacks, and pallets containing mixed products, taking advantage of functionalities like automatic layer optimization and a 3D visualization of the pallet layout. Furthermore, the entire configuration can be effortlessly exported to the machine in multiple formats, such as Siemens PLC/HMI data, CSV, JSON, and comprehensive PDF documentation. As a result, the initiation of a new layout is significantly accelerated, reducing a process that once took several days of programming and commissioning to just a few minutes. This exceptional efficiency not only boosts productivity but also substantially mitigates the likelihood of human errors during the setup phase, paving the way for a more streamlined operational workflow. In addition, the user-friendly interface ensures that even those with limited technical expertise can effectively utilize the tool to enhance their palletizing processes.
