What is OmniDICOM?

OmniDICOM is a multifunctional desktop application designed for DICOM viewing and metadata editing, catering to educational and research needs on both Mac and Windows operating systems. Users have the ability to access local studies, compare series, take measurements, and watch cine sequences, while also inspecting or modifying DICOM tag information. The app is equipped with sophisticated viewing features such as multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), maximum intensity projection (MIP), 3D volume rendering, and digital subtraction angiography (DSA). In addition, it offers PACS and DICOMweb capabilities that enhance study transfers, along with diverse export options for images, videos, DICOM files, and STL models. The Professional version includes a processing bench that comes with a variety of stacked filters and analytical instruments like histograms, profiles, and time-intensity curves. Users can try the Professional edition for 14 days at no cost, although it has export limitations, and to unlock full access, a paid license is required. The Basic subscription is priced at $10 monthly or $99 yearly per machine, whereas the Professional plan costs $45 per month or $449 annually.
