What is RedLine13?

Open architecture facilitates the creation and execution of load tests for various applications, such as a home page, a specific URL on your site, or a mobile API endpoint. With this system, you can swiftly develop straightforward tests and scale them to accommodate thousands of users within just a few minutes. Tools like Apache JMeter and WebDriver are more than just open-source options for cloud-based load testing; they also represent dynamic communities with extensive expertise built from genuine user experiences. By utilizing open load tests, you can compose your load tests using the programming languages and tools you regularly engage with, such as Python or PHP. This makes the process of load testing not only straightforward and cost-effective but also accessible to everyone interested. The effectiveness of this methodology stems from an open architecture that grants flexibility and control over the configuration of cloud load agents, allowing for tailored solutions that meet specific testing requirements. Additionally, the collaborative nature of these communities fosters innovation and continuous improvement in load testing practices.

What is Loadster?

Loadster helps engineering and SRE teams protect uptime and customer experience without standing up their own testing infrastructure. The platform combines on-demand load testing with continuous synthetic monitoring, so teams validate capacity before launches and catch problems in production between them. Load tests run from cloud regions and simulate users at any scale — from a few hundred to many thousands of concurrent virtual users. HTTP, real browser, and Playwright-based bots cover the range from API throughput checks to full end-to-end user journeys. Reports break down response times, error rates, page rendering metrics, and per-user playback, then save into a shared history that stakeholders can review together. The same scripts can be repurposed as 24/7 monitors that run continuously from multiple regions. Incidents flow through configurable notification policies to email, SMS, voice, or integrations like Slack and PagerDuty, and maintenance windows pause monitoring during planned work. Status pages give external audiences a clear view of service health. Loadster is consumption-priced through Loadster Fuel, with free units to evaluate the platform and no credit card required to sign up. Engineering, QA, and SRE teams use it to validate releases, catch regressions before users do, and respond faster when something breaks.
