What is SecFeed?

SecFeed provides an extensive hosted API that enables users to search for and incorporate SEC EDGAR data into a variety of applications, research initiatives, and AI-driven tools. This platform features capabilities for locating filings, accessing specific sections of 10-K and 10-Q reports, acquiring XBRL financial statements, and monitoring insider transactions through Forms 3, 4, and 5. Additionally, it offers insights into institutional ownership with Form 13F data, disclosure of ownership, and event information sourced from Form 8-K. The API ensures structured records that are directly connected to the original filings and includes real-time filing updates as well as webhooks for swift data retrieval. Developers can make use of RESTful endpoints alongside Python and Node.js clients, as well as a comprehensive OpenAPI specification and a hosted Model Context Protocol server, facilitating smooth integration with AI applications. Beyond these functionalities, SecFeed also showcases federal contracting opportunities and award data, allowing users to search based on public-company tickers. This platform is specifically designed for developers, quantitative researchers, fintech pioneers, and AI specialists who need programmatic access to essential filings and public-sector information, thereby equipping them with the necessary tools for effective data analysis and application creation. With its diverse offerings, SecFeed is an indispensable asset in enhancing financial data accessibility, ensuring that users can stay informed and competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape.

What is Hub-Equity?

Hub-Equity converts XBRL and iXBRL filings from publicly traded companies submitted to the SEC in the U.S. and in compliance with ESEF regulations in Europe into standardized financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for more than 12,500 issuers. Both US-GAAP and IFRS filers benefit from a cohesive schema, which facilitates direct comparisons on a line-by-line basis between American and European entities. Each individual data point is meticulously connected to its original filing and the specific fiscal period, with restatements presented alongside their original and adjusted figures, emphasizing the filing responsible for the alteration. Users can engage with the platform in three unique ways: through a web interface that includes detailed company pages, screening tools, cross-issuer analyses, and options for exporting data in Excel or JSON formats; via a REST API and Python SDK, which can be easily installed using `pip install hub-equity` and comes with comprehensive documentation found at docs.hub-equity.com; or through an MCP server that accommodates AI agents like Claude, Cursor, and Continue, enabling users to extract any figure along with its source filing, historical time series, and restatements. All subscription tiers offer the same data quality and verification checks, with pricing determined by throughput and available features, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of users. Notably, the Free plan is especially attractive as it does not require a credit card and remains active indefinitely, promoting continuous exploration of the platform's functionalities and benefits. This accessibility allows users to gain valuable insights into financial data without immediate financial commitments.
