What is SunDAT?

SunDAT provides an innovative web-based platform for the design of utility-scale and commercial solar photovoltaic systems. Utilizing advanced patented technology, it aims to enhance the Ground Coverage Ratio (GCR) and increase energy production, even in difficult terrain. The system efficiently navigates complex boundaries and obstacles, greatly streamlining the design workflow. By automating various tasks, SunDAT significantly boosts the efficiency of solar design processes, allowing users to easily locate steep slopes or areas within an array that may require grading or should be avoided. Furthermore, the software allows for the creation of visual heatmaps, which can be exported to PVsyst for in-depth analysis, along with facilitating pile length calculations with ease. It supports exporting project data in multiple formats, including PDF, DXF, and DAE, which enhances its compatibility with design programs like AutoCAD and PVsyst for additional refinement and assessment. SunDAT Web is specifically designed to cater to both large utility projects and commercial PV installations, ranging from expansive 150MW ground-mount systems to smaller 2 MW rooftop projects. With SunDAT, users can be confident that their solar designs are not only effective in energy production but also optimized for the best use of available land. This comprehensive tool is essential for professionals aiming to maximize their renewable energy initiatives.

What is RatedPower?

RatedPower, a part of Enverus, is an end-to-end software solution for the development of large-scale solar PV, BESS, and hybrid renewable projects. Designed for energy professionals, it automates and optimizes the entire workflow—from land scouting and layout design to documentation and final engineering—saving time while improving accuracy. Its geospatial tools help users evaluate buildable sites by layering data like infrastructure, energy pricing, interconnection queues, and land ownership. RatedPower streamlines early-stage decision-making with precise site selection and access to locational marginal pricing insights. In the design phase, users can import topographic data to perform terrain analysis, simulate cut-and-fill volumes, and determine optimal layout configurations. The platform generates preliminary system designs with reliable energy yield estimates, SLDs, and Gen-Tie reports compliant with international engineering standards—essential for securing permits and financing. RatedPower also supports both standalone and hybrid battery storage projects, with features for capacity optimization and feasibility assessment. During detailed design, users can run batch simulations, manually tweak parameters like pitch or DC/AC ratio, and compare results using key performance and cost metrics. Finally, the software makes collaboration easy by exporting editable drawings, reports, and 3D models that integrate with tools like PVsyst, ensuring smooth transitions across project stages. RatedPower is the comprehensive digital partner for accelerating and scaling up renewable energy development.
