What is SwiftNodes?

SwiftNodes provides a consolidated API key that enables multi-chain blockchain RPC access across 128 chains, covering both EVM and non-EVM networks such as Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Optimism, Solana, TRON, Cosmos, and Bitcoin. The platform employs HTTPS for its endpoints and predominantly supports WebSocket connections on most chains, ensuring reliable communication. The pricing model for monthly subscriptions is based on the number of requests per second instead of compute units, which means all RPC methods are uniformly priced, allowing for equitable costs across various functions, including eth_getLogs and tracing, which do not carry higher fees than eth_call. The free tier permits 2 requests per second and up to 250,000 requests each month, while paid plans begin at $49 per month for 50 requests per second and can go up to $249 per month for 500 requests per second; these premium options come with unlimited request volume, access to archived data, advanced APIs, and MEV-protected sending capabilities. Customers can conveniently pay via credit cards or cryptocurrencies without requiring KYC procedures. Moreover, for developers and AI agents, SwiftNodes provides a method-support matrix that is updated weekly for each chain, a hosted read-only MCP server listed in the official MCP Registry under io.swiftnodes/swiftnodes, and a command-line interface (CLI) designed for easy integration. This extensive service is crafted to optimize blockchain interactions, catering to a wide variety of applications and user needs, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of the blockchain ecosystem. Additionally, SwiftNodes' commitment to user-centric solutions reflects its understanding of the diverse requirements in the evolving blockchain landscape.

What is Arbitrum?

The latest advancements in layer 2 solutions for Ethereum dApps empower developers to leverage their preferred tools while effectively reducing the expenses associated with scaling their applications. Within this framework, an aggregator functions similarly to a node on Ethereum, allowing client software to execute remote procedure calls (RPCs) through a standardized API to interact with an Arbitrum chain. This aggregator plays a crucial role by transmitting these calls to the EthBridge and returning the results of transactions to the client, reflecting the behavior of a conventional Ethereum node. Although it's common for clients to route their transactions through an aggregator when engaging with an Arbitrum chain, this is not strictly necessary. The architecture permits an unlimited number of aggregators to be created, and there are no restrictions on who can act as an aggregator. To optimize processing efficiency, aggregators often merge several client transactions into a single submission to the Arbitrum chain. Moreover, the Arbitrum ecosystem includes a specialized Sequencer capable of organizing transactions, which leads to rapid transaction confirmations with minimal latency. This groundbreaking arrangement not only enhances overall throughput but also cultivates an adaptable environment where developers can explore and innovate without the constraints of high costs, ultimately promoting greater experimentation within the blockchain space. By providing such flexibility, layer 2 solutions are poised to significantly transform the landscape of decentralized applications.
