What is Taker?

Taker is a groundbreaking liquidity protocol specifically designed for the new wave of crypto assets. Utilizing a quote-by-lock-in pricing strategy, it allows asset owners to secure stable coins via borrowing. With an initial emphasis on NFT assets, Taker aspires to provide lending solutions that cater to a wide array of future crypto assets. The protocol introduces a novel approach to lending within the NFT sector. Soon, synthetic indexes for NFTs are set to be unveiled, which will further increase liquidity and boost transaction volumes for NFTs. Taker’s native token empowers holders to participate in community governance and exercise their voting rights, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Constructed on the Polygon Layer 2 network, Taker seeks to reduce gas fees, improve asset turnover rates, and enhance its data processing capabilities. The fusion of DeFi functionalities with an NFT ecosystem forms a foundational aspect of the protocol. Furthermore, efforts are underway to create a pool-based lending mechanism, which is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency of NFT lending transactions. This dedication to innovation not only positions Taker as a frontrunner in decentralized finance but also signals a new era for how crypto assets can be leveraged within the marketplace. As the protocol evolves, it remains committed to adapting and addressing the dynamic needs of its users.

What is Perpetual Protocol?

A decentralized exchange (DEX) operating on-chain provides highly efficient liquidity provisioning, with leverage options available for both makers and takers that can reach up to 10x. This platform ensures a top-notch trading experience that is open to all, utilizing the strengths of public blockchains and Layer 2 (L2) scaling solutions. Users benefit from fast transactions and minimal fees, facilitating instant trading via vAMM technology. There are no sign-up processes, no intermediaries to navigate, no waiting for counterparties, and no worries about fund security. The exchange allows for trading a diverse range of crypto assets while also planning to incorporate gold, fiat, and commodities in the future, as Perpetual Protocol aims to be all-encompassing. Built on the xDai network scaling solution, users are required to send Layer 2 commands to this network, utilizing either the Homestead or Rinkeby environments. Key interactions between Layer 1 and Layer 2 take place during the deposit of funds into Layer 2 and the withdrawal process back to Layer 1, while additional functionalities can be carried out directly on the Layer 2 (xDai network). Consequently, traders can enjoy a smooth and comprehensive trading platform that not only meets their needs but also continuously adapts and expands its services to keep pace with market demands. This evolution positions the DEX favorably within the rapidly changing landscape of digital assets.
