Tempo Financial Manager bridges time tracking and financial oversight within Jira. Leveraging data from Tempo Timesheets, it provides real-time views of project costs, budget burn rates, labor expenses, and profit margins, all without leaving Jira. Project managers can compare planned vs. actual financials, generate forecasts, and maintain financial control across portfolios. The tool supports CapEx/OpEx classification and revenue tracking to help organizations align project execution with business budgets. From project managers protecting a budget to finance leaders reporting on portfolio profitability, Financial Manager turns the time teams already log into live financial data – no exports, no parallel spreadsheets, no waiting for month-end. Leaders set and monitor budgets, track milestones, compare planned against actual spend, forecast where budgets are heading, classify effort as CapEx or OpEx, manage cost and billing rates by role with effective dates, and group work into strategic portfolios for executive reporting. It is Cloud Fortified and supports English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, and Portuguese. Financial Manager is one piece of Tempo's modular, Jira-native suite for Strategic Portfolio Management. It builds on Timesheets for cost data, complements Capacity Planner for resourcing, rolls into Structure PPM for portfolio views, and feeds Custom Charts for dashboards.
