What is TraumaCad?

For over a decade, TraumaCad software has empowered orthopedic surgeons to visualize potential outcomes prior to surgery, thus ensuring a smooth surgical experience from start to finish. This innovative software features an extensive digital library of templates and offers a diverse range of measurement tools tailored to various orthopedic specialties, including Total Hip Replacement (THR), Total Knee Replacement (TKR), trauma surgery, pediatric interventions, deformity corrections, foot and ankle operations, spinal procedures, and treatments of the upper limbs. Surgeons can take advantage of numerous automated functionalities, such as image recognition for accurate calibration and Auto planning for THR and TKR procedures, which significantly simplify the planning phase. Moreover, the system ensures that users always have access to the latest version of the software and template resources through regular automatic updates. Pre-operative reports can be easily created, incorporating patient images, details about implants, measurements, and pertinent notes, which guarantees that all essential information is well-organized and readily available for review. This combination of advanced features and innovative design ultimately boosts the efficiency and quality of surgical planning in orthopedic practice, fostering improved patient outcomes. In turn, this leads to greater confidence among surgical teams as they prepare for complex procedures.

What is D2P?

The D2P® software, which has received FDA clearance, works seamlessly with 3D Systems printers to enable healthcare professionals such as surgeons, radiologists, lab technicians, and device designers to create high-quality 3D models and physical prints for diagnostic purposes efficiently. By allowing users to import DICOM images directly into its standalone modular software, D2P simplifies the process of 3D model segmentation and preparation, all from a single workstation. As a medical device, this software not only aids in surgical planning but also facilitates the production of 3D-printed anatomical models for diagnostic applications. Its advanced image segmentation toolkit, coupled with immersive virtual reality (VR) visualization, minimizes the time and resources necessary for clinicians and point-of-care (POC) personnel to generate tailored anatomical models for their patients. In addition, the digital models produced through D2P are compatible with a variety of platforms like 3D printers, VR systems, surgical planning tools, and CAD software, which greatly enhances the adaptability and efficiency of medical practices. This cutting-edge methodology not only streamlines surgical preparations but also promotes teamwork among healthcare providers by equipping them with accurate and easily accessible anatomical representations, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes. By bridging technology and medicine, D2P serves as a vital resource in advancing the capabilities of modern healthcare.
