What is VQmon?

VQmon is a specialized embedded library designed for real-time analysis of media streams such as VoIP, IP videoconferencing, and video streaming. It delivers in-depth analytics and Quality of Experience (QoE) scores for IP-based media streams. The library offers APIs and standardized payloads compliant with RFC 635 (SIP PUBLISH) and RFC 3611, enabling users to obtain critical metrics. What is SolarWinds VNQM?

VoIP monitoring solutions provide comprehensive insights into WAN performance and essential call quality of service (QoS) metrics. The SolarWinds® VoIP & Network Quality Manager is designed to enhance VoIP performance by analyzing Call Detail Records (CDRs) from platforms such as Cisco CallManager and Avaya Communication Manager. This analysis helps in pinpointing and resolving issues like distortion, latency, and background noise. With VNQM, users can effectively review call detail files from both Cisco and Avaya systems, allowing them to track important metrics including latency and network jitter.
