What is Verified Call?

Verified Call is designed to uphold the authenticity of interviews for hiring teams participating in remote video conferences. Before the interview takes place, candidates must undergo a verification procedure on their devices, which evaluates their camera functionality, voice, and facial characteristics while also detecting any unauthorized assistance tools or applications. During the Google Meet interview, a browser extension visible to the interviewer displays the status of all participants and can record evidence should any issues emerge. This system is meticulously engineered to expose potential concerns about identity or interview integrity, such as inconsistencies in appearance or voice, camera manipulations, face swaps, deepfake technology, AI avatars, and any hidden AI support. Candidates engage with the service through a desktop application, while interviewers use a Chrome extension; at present, meetings are exclusively supported on Google Meet. Currently, Verified Call is in a closed beta phase and offers recruiters, hiring managers, and technical interviewers a one-week paid trial aimed at improving the transparency and reliability of the hiring process. The introduction of this cutting-edge technology aspires to create a more reliable setting for remote interviews and instill confidence in both candidates and interviewers alike.

What is Interview Signal?

Interview Signal is a specialized desktop application tailored for individuals conducting job interviews, including in-house and agency recruiters, as well as hiring managers. It captures the interview directly on the user's computer, eliminating the interference of automated systems, and is compatible with popular platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and phone calls. During an interview, users can take advantage of an instantaneous transcript and a question guide that is generated based on the job description, allowing them to highlight key questions as they are posed while receiving prompts for follow-up queries. After the interview wraps up, the application produces an extensive scorecard where each rating is substantiated by a quote pulled from the transcript, and it also creates a client submittal formatted to the agency's specifications, all completed in approximately one minute. For onsite interviews, the software allows for the distribution of questions among several interviewers, making it easy for them to monitor which inquiries have already been addressed. All information—including transcripts, quotes, candidate names, notes, and submissions—remains securely stored on the recruiter's device, with no data uploaded to external servers, thus safeguarding confidentiality. The app includes a consent line that can be read aloud and a simple one-click pause feature to enhance flexibility during interviews. Additionally, this tool significantly enhances the efficiency and organization of the recruitment process, making it a valuable asset for hiring professionals. Overall, Interview Signal not only streamlines workflows but also contributes to a more structured and effective interview experience.
