What is Zeptap?

Zeptap is a macOS application designed to manage AI agents on a physical iPhone linked to a Mac, providing a seamless way for these intelligent agents to interact with various apps, interpret screen content, and conduct multi-app workflows directly on the device. By eliminating the need for an Apple Developer account, Xcode, or device provisioning, and without installing any software on the iPhone, Zeptap ensures a user-friendly experience. Organizations utilize Zeptap for testing iOS applications on actual devices, automating routine tasks within native iPhone applications even when APIs are unavailable, and empowering AI coding agents to verify their outputs directly on the device. Zeptap connects through a local MCP server to multiple clients such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor, Hermes, and OpenClaw. Operating solely on the Mac, it leverages the user’s existing AI account or provider, which adds a layer of convenience and adaptability to its functionality. Offering both monthly subscriptions and one-time licensing, the Lifetime Plus plan accommodates up to five iPhones at once, making it suitable for a diverse range of team sizes and requirements. This adaptability highlights Zeptap’s role as an essential resource for developers and teams dedicated to mobile application development and testing, ultimately enhancing workflow efficiency and productivity.

What is NoMac?

NoMac provides cloud-hosted virtual machines that operate macOS on Apple silicon, tailored specifically for developers working on iOS and macOS applications. Each user session is fully equipped with macOS, Xcode, and the required iOS simulator runtimes, along with vital development tools, facilitating smooth building, testing, and simulation processes without the need for a physical Mac device. Developers can conveniently manage their sessions through various interfaces, including a browser desktop interface, Command Line Interface (CLI), SSH, HTTPS API, or even a hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Their workflows cover a range of activities such as app development, simulator operations, capturing screenshots, application signing, and preparing builds for TestFlight. Each session runs on a fresh virtual machine that is eliminated after use, guaranteeing a pristine working environment for every new session. Users have the option to retain their projects and build caches across sessions by utilizing an account drive for storage. NoMac specifically serves iOS and macOS developers, accommodating teams that use coding agents requiring Xcode, including those developing from Windows or Linux platforms. The pricing model operates on a per-minute basis, charging from prepaid credits with a minimum billing increment of one minute and a maximum expenditure limit per session. This approach enables developers to manage their resources effectively and keep costs in check while ensuring they have continuous access to essential development tools. Consequently, NoMac stands as a flexible and economical solution for developers seeking to streamline their workflow in a cloud-based environment.
