What is lfr?

lfr is a comprehensive mail server and newsletter platform that comes as a single Go binary compatible with both Linux and macOS systems. This solution enables developers, self-hosters, and small teams to effortlessly set up and manage mailboxes associated with their domains, as well as oversee aliases and forwarding, while streamlining email searching and responses, alongside domain mail record management. Among its newsletter functionalities are customizable double-opt-in signup lists, Markdown-based content creation for issues, hosted archives with signup pages, a straightforward one-click unsubscribe feature, and proficient management of bounces and complaints, all supported by a configurable SMTP relay in cases where direct sending isn't feasible. Users can access the command-line interface locally or via SSH, which allows them to perform setup and diagnostics related to server operations, DNS settings, and mail delivery. Distributed under the MIT license, lfr is free to use, but users must take charge of managing and funding their own servers and any optional relay services they may opt for. With its extensive features and intuitive design, lfr emerges as an exceptional option for individuals and teams seeking to retain full control over their email and newsletter management. This makes it not only a practical choice but also a strategic one for those looking to enhance their communication capabilities.

What is SMTP Senpai?

MailSenpai's SMTP Senpai acts as a reliable SMTP relay for all your email needs, including sign-ups, password resets, order confirmations, notifications, and contact forms generated by your applications, websites, and tools. You can easily connect using standard SMTP on port 2525 or 587 with STARTTLS, a REST API that delivers JSON responses, or a specialized form endpoint that works seamlessly with web forms, even on static websites. All outgoing emails are authenticated with DKIM using your domain, and we provide the necessary DNS records while verifying them for you. We automatically manage bounced addresses, keep a comprehensive 90-day log of all sent emails, and deliver an in-depth weekly report for your records. Instead of suspending your account when you exceed a specific limit, we offer warnings and guidance on how to address any issues that arise. Our operations and servers are located in the EU, and we provide customer support in both Italian and English through ticketing and email systems. You can explore our offerings with a 14-day free trial that requires a credit card for registration (cancellation is available at any time), and after the trial, you can choose a subscription plan starting at €12.90 per month for up to 10,000 emails annually. With this service, you can enjoy dependable email delivery while benefiting from the flexibility and support tailored to enhance your communication requirements. Additionally, our commitment to data security and compliance further strengthens our service's reliability.
