I use Budgyt for budgeting and forecasting in our nonprofit, which previously relied on a cumbersome Excel system. Budgyt is intuitive and easy to use, though improvements in automation would be beneficial. The setup was straightforward and I'm very likely to recommend it, rating it a 10.

I love Budgyt for its ease of use and intuitive design. It has made budgeting and forecasting much simpler for our small nonprofit organization. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, not only for me but also for others in my team, as it is quite easy to teach them how to use it. This intuitive interface has greatly streamlined what used to be a complex and cumbersome process in Excel, significantly enhancing our productivity. Furthermore, the initial setup was pretty straightforward, thanks to the supportive team at Budgyt. They took the time to understand our organization's needs and mapped everything out for us, which made the transition seamless. Overall, Budgyt has transformed our budgeting process into a much more efficient and less stressful task.

I find that Budgyt has limitations with its integration capabilities. Although there have been significant updates to allow for automatic downloads directly from QuickBooks into Budgyt, it currently only supports automation with one company at a time. This limitation is inconvenient, especially when managing multiple entities, and it would be beneficial if the automation could be expanded to accommodate multiple companies simultaneously.

I am thoroughly happy with Budgyt. We anticipate it is going to meet our needs for years to come and.

We liked the ability to compare multiple departments and years with little trouble. It also has multiple reporting features depending on what you need.

Importing information could be easier that it currently is.

I use Budgyt to manage the budget and financial reporting for our non-profit organization. It allows us to easily view actuals and update projections using our cost-centered model. I love the ease of dissecting financial information through multiple dashboard views.

During our implementation we had some key questions that were handled rapidly and clearly by the Budgyt implementation team, as well as a large and continually evolving online learning system. Selecting and implementing Budgyt has proven to be one of the best financial decisions our organization has ever made.

Budgyt has been a game changer for our organization. After one budget season went up in flames with a large Excel spreadsheet error, we needed something different. We reviewed the market for budgeting systems and fairly quickly selected Budgyt. Of key value to us was a seamless and quick interface with Quick Books Online, which Budgyt features. With our Budgyt implementation we can effectively ‘layer’ our budgeting process. In our case this allows for independent budgets based on geographical location that can then be consolidated for a full organization roll-up. Layers could also easily be product lines or large departments. The user interface for Budgyt is streamlined and easy to use, particularly for non-technically oriented employees. Timeframes and included roll-up layers can be easily selected or removed.

Budgyt helped immensely in the annual budget process. It provides instant consolidation of numerous department and project/grant level financials. User security setup is easy, and number of users included for the base price is an advantage over competitors. Drill-down features and ability to attach notes and external support files round out a strong feature set.

We selected Budgyt over other options because it is exceptionally easy to use, perfectly meeting all our budget management needs. Budgyt shines in environments with numerous departments. If your organization has multiple distinct groups that need to contribute to a centralized budget, the software’s ability to invite various teams and provide cumulative oversight is a significant advantage.

Although Budgyt's functionality is excellent, storing too many scenarios in your profile can slow down the system as it continuously updates them. To maximize speed and efficiency, it’s important to regularly maintain and manage your scenarios.

Overall, Budgyt has improved our budgeting process, reduced labor costs, and helps to avoid keying errors. I highly recommend Budgyt software to anyone looking for an effective budgeting solution.

Feature rich. The cloud-based user-friendly interface integrates easily, streamlines implementation and training, and makes for easy input and tracking of expenses, shows detail of prior years, while the reporting tools provide valuable insights into my financial situation. The ability to customize and create forecasts is instrumental in helping us stay on track with financial goals.

Excellent experience wont go back to Excel.

Would be nice if you could embed excel in the database.

Once you understand the scenarios and reporting tools it works really well for high and granular analysis.

Speed - it would be nice if it updated faster.

We've now been using this over 5 years. Budgyt is always improving, always getting faster and better with more features. We liked the capabilities in the beginning and we have always been expertly supported when we have questions.

Employee and Payroll module in Budgyt has all the capabilities to plan accurately for payroll and employer expenses in multiple states and with a wide variety of employee benefits formula capabilities.

Customer support is super capable and fast - if you ever need anything beyond their excellent training video library, which almost always covers my questions.

Sometimes keeping up with the way the platform is improved can be a challenge - but the benefit of the improvements outweigh any time spent getting used to the changes over time.

I will recommend Budgyt to any organization especially if they are still small. it easy use and track financial reports and statements.

I wish there was more videos on how to track indirect cost and formulas.

My overall experience is good with the product. During implantation, James was very attentive to the needs of the organization.

Ease of use, the features are excellent and the support team is amazing. The customer service team are very helpful.

Sometimes the system can be slow depending on the size of your database. With proper management, this can handle.

Overall it is awesome! Having been using it for almost a year and create monthly re-forecasts using combination of prior months actuals and future months forecast.

Love Budgyt’s business model which enabled use to try it out with our data and most of the setup without paying up front. Budgyt is so much better than my bulky multi company, multi department Excel spreadsheet.
Great that we can upload detailed actual GL data for users to see. Awesome that we easily see prior year monthly actuals, and budget on the data sheet for a gut check. The formulas and excel linking files work like a charm. Implementation was very smooth and haven't needed to contact customer support yet. You can tell this product was designed by a CFO, and is easy enough to use by a non-financial manager!

Can't restrict access to Payroll module by department.

The employee module and the formulas modules are excellent. The customer service is also exceptional.

The Budgyt platform has made my budgeting process so much easier. Being able to move away from using multiple, linked Excel spreadsheets has been great.

We love this software in our organization. We have read-only users who rave about it. But it has most drastically improved the lives of the financial accountants.

The ability to splice income statements into various formats, quarterly, monthly, annually with ease, in addition to combining entities and/or departments. I mostly enjoy viewing a number of entities in a single report with each entity as its own column. It was challenging to do this format efficiently prior to having the Budgyt software.

Compiling presentation materials for senior executives is a breeze compared to the manual processes I experienced previously to appease various format requests of attendees.

I'd like to remove the % option from reports fully, and have more tailorable options for %'s added into reports.

More descriptive processes for FOA and C2C (formula) in the Budgyt program. It's not an intuitive process and the language itself can be confusing.

Budgyt is a fantastic data cruncher and is highly customizable. However, with customization comes a steep learning curve. There are a large number of options, settings, and other items that take time to locate and learn. Budgyt is easy to use once you learn it, but that initial learning curve is steep!

After years of using Budgyt, I still struggle with using the built-in equation builders. They are highly customizable, which is great, but they don't always seem to follow traditional math logic. I've resorted to running the few calculations I need to do externally and linking a spreadsheet to a Budgyt line item, which works fine for me and is a small price to pay for the level of detailed planning Budgyt facilitates.

Overall we are happy with our selection for Budgyt as our ultimate budgeting tool that is helping us solve our annual budgeting.

With a big database such as ours, it is slow now. Development team is working and hopefully to solve this issue soon.

Initial set up was easy, continued customer service throughout was excellent. Very passionate team, and the system enabled a strongly adopted budget to be produced in this organisation.
