CS-Cart Multi-Vendor Reviews

I've test lots of free and paying e-shopping solution during months.
When you taking in account : the initial cost + add-ons prices + custom development + hosting prices
CS-Cart is by far the best solution for building and ecommerce at a reasonable price.

Carefully Design CS-Cart as been thought from the beginning as multi-vendors solution. It comes with a lot of built-in functionalities. But you can go further with lots of add-ons and themes.
The solution is easy to use, reliable, and the set of API available let you easily connect your platform to others systems (CRM, ERP...)
The community is large enough in order to implement your custom development.

I've notice no major drawbacks. Perhaps re-design the Admin Panel for vendors

I love CS Cart. As an out of the box package it does many things, very well. A few areas are weaker than would be ideal but there will never be a solution to fit everybody's needs perfectly. CS Cart is pretty close to it though. Very good support team, if you buy credits, they help.

It would be nice to see the global delivery aspect of the software improved to enable localisation for vendors. But CS CART is infinitely customisable so you can pretty much turn it in to anything you want, for a price of course.

I love using CS Cart. Having owned stores run on Magento v1.x and V2 and Opencart and OS Commerce and Xcart, I feel qualified to to answer what makes a good ecommerce platform. I believe CS Cart is the best out there at an affordable price point.
Some strong points are:
- Great support service, they actually reply fast , although you have to pay for support after some time.
- Infinitely customisable
- Well thought out (mostly)
- Good base of extensions you can buy for the product
- Very scaleable
- Very nice code base. Makes Magento look a total mess.
- Excellent documentation
- Great tutorial videos on YouTube
- lots more...

License recurring fee to get updates each year.
Some things not well thought out for example global deliveries needs reworking to use more logistics.
Developers can be expensive.
Not a very big developer pool like WooCommerce or Magento.
Vendor commission system is lacking in detail. But we are coding our own module for this.

Awesome experience overall in terms of out of box, ease of use and flexibility of modifications in existing infrastructure.

- You're not dependent on a cluster of unsupported add-ons

- The default appearance is not my favorite style but this can easily be customized.

There is no alternative to CS-Cart if you are building a serious marketplace and don't want to spend a high amount of money to getting a software developed only for your marketplace. Even if you are growing there is always a way to enhance the software to your needs due to the relatively open software concept.

1. Since it serves "the world" some special things sometimes have to be adapted (e.g. the decimal separator in Germany) - but that was never a problem due to the very helpful Helpdesk of CS-Cart.
2. The RMA has really to be approved to the needs of special regions (e.g. in the EU you have to return also shipping costs, etc.).

It was a good decision to buy multi vendor, and I created amazing platform and get money. Just try demo and you will understand that it's easy and cool!

Simple and convenient interface with many options to create your marketplace!
The are many options of menu, review, banners, products etc.
I am using multi vendor about 8 months, and can give good feedback only!

You can have problems with using only, but if you have no experience, you can find video tutorials.

I don't have a lot of experience with different eCommerce engines, however I know well about CMS system and current trends. I've chosen CS-Cart because it's not that pricey for multi-vendor features and there is not much discovered lack of security compared to other publishers. CS-Cart looks long time developed with some functions needed to be updated for better experience, especially for newbie users in eCommerce. The good thing is I can see once a month a new version of CS-Cart. There is 30 days cost free installation so it's easy to try it first. Customization for more advanced users demands knowledge of Smarty + PHP and API of CS-Cart. You must choose carefully proper template to avoid any additional customization or even widgets. A lot of add-ons helps to enhance usability. Overall it's good software.

- Very energetic free support forums (Russian and international)
- A lot of add-ons
- Possible to run shop without hiring programmer for customization
- Some countries have really great support

- Point-and-click and drag & drop interfaces not fully developed (some parts of interface I have to organize by manually by select priority number),
- List of templates are limited or they are a bit outdated,
- Still old jQuery library supported,
- Most add-ons cost a bit or their support have been limited to 6 months, also software has limited full support to 3 months only.
- Interface languages creates a copy of each product description in database even there is only one language description.

Excellent multi-vendor software for online stores. Stable and most reliable product from my experience of almost one year. If you do not believe me just search BIGBAG.PK on Google and checkout for yourself the final product which is outcome of the CS-Cart Multivendor Software.

Easy to set-up and with a lot of interesting features. The vendor panel and the upload of products via CSV files improved a lot the productivity of our marketplace. The plug-in library was also very important for us.

The software requires further improvements in order to fully meet the expectations of the b2b market:
- application of tax rules in multi-country environment;
- missing feature for membership fee automatization;
- price is a bit high.

I did a lot of research and tried out the different provider's trial runs. It took me months. This one was the best fit in price, the long and truly impressive list in functionality offered as standard and the potential to customize anything, should I want too and being open source I can do so without even touching the core code.
One more thing. There is a lot of competition and your site better look and be professional. Your buyer and vendor customers will know the difference.

Designed for multi-vendors, this is not an afterthought clunky add-on. They thought of everything. It has stability, speed and a very active informative help forum. Should you want a special feature that is not included in their long standard feature list, no problem. They have a stable add-on marketplace community with very reasonable pricing and developers that will customize, tweak or built your add-on as you desire. Lots of beautiful themes too.

The vendor admin part needs a more modern facelift. It tends to be confusing to new vendors at first. I want my vendors to list their products as simple as can and get on with selling them.

Be sure you know some basic coding skills. Overall, I couldn't be happier with CS-Cart Multi-Vendor.

This platform is a great way to start your own e-commence website. It’s very powerful and easy to operate your own online marketplace. Responsive and professional customer support.

Theme editor need to be expanded. Takes time to learn! Though videos are available, it's still a daunting task to learn it.

I am very happy with CS-cart so far. It allows me to build a solution with a professional look and it is easy to use. I can also connect it to third party features that I do require for my business.

This software has a lot of features and design options to fit your needs. The level of customization is higher than any other solution I have worked with before. It also provides an interesting portfolio of adds-on as well as external resources that make this software a very competitive asset for your business.

I have no technical background, which might have been the reason why it took me some time to get used to the many features and capabilities of C-Cart. However, once you allow yourself some time to practice with it, this software will become easy and fun

I'm satisfied with the quality of this product. I can go to sleep knowing I should not worry about any hiccups. I had started my business with another multivendor product and it was a nightmare! So I'm very happy that CS-Cart has a solution that actually works.

I have an experience with choosing the most powerful software for goods marketplace from 5-6 systems already available to buy - this one is the best option. Using this software about 1 year and think that it's really worth its money.

- Lot of stuff from the box to start multivendor project.
- Mobile app and site version.
- Different languages support.

- Huge amount of add-ons.

- Need some changes with delivery rates - every vendor have to set all exists rates for each country, you cant copy them etc.
- Two different versions for Russia market - if you need project for worldwide market you have to buy one version, that pay for Russian payment systems, delivery & etc.

Value for money, I will certainly recommend the product. It has worked well for me so far. I am happy with the product.

The software has a lot of features, enough to get you started and even run a viable ongoing marketplace.

Adaptable- it can be used for different niche, both physical and non-physical products.

It is scalable, one of the key things I like about it, and plenty of ads on as at when needed.

It takes a bit of time to learn the features and may need a developer in some cases.

Too much and too frequent upgrades.

I love CS-Cart, we are customising it and it is in my opinion the best framework out there . There is lots of extensions available and at reasonable prices. Extensions for MV are often more expensive though than for normal CS-Cart. I have used Magento 1 and 2, WooCommerce, Opencart, OS commerce and more and CS-Cart is ahead of them all. The best thing is they answer my support emails quickly and are very helpful and knowledgeable about their system.

Great system, well designed, great support, good extensions marketplace. CS-Cart has a good team behind it and they produce regular updates. It is much better to work with than Magento 2; a far better and cleaner codebase. The extensions marketplace is great and there are numerous plug and play extensions that add lots more functionality to your store.

Complex, Not ideal at all out of the box for global delivery options . To get the store you want often you need to customise it, but it is very customisable so you need to factor in development costs. Finding good developers is not always easy, there is a much smaller pool of developers than for Magento for example, but then CS-Cart is a far superior system .

Enjoy it, good experience, I wish we can utilize more features. recommended to anyone who is considering a marketplace. It is a very good value and especially the company is rolling out upgrades often. It gives me peace of mind.

There are tons of things I like about CS-Cart.

First, it is the rich features that it has, the user feature is very robust and admin functions are well thought out too. The upgrade process is very well thought out, it allows you to backup everything before taking a small risk to upgrade. I haven't had any issues so far, high confidence in the system.

The platform add-on is great too. Many add-on available to choose from, integration well with all 3rd party. So far, it is a great investment for a small project.

Another thing I like about CS-Cart is the theme, layout, module design. It takes some time to understand and getting used to. however it can be powerful.

Overall, as administrator, it is very easy to use and you can do a lot.

I would like it to run lighter and faster. And maybe in the future have PWA ability instead of mobile app only. The add-on marketplace can be developed more but it is great so far.

I tried similar software for several months, was hesitant to purchase CS-Cart Multi-vendor due to the steep price tag. However, in the end, I purchased a license and didn't look back! Between the easy setup and the support, I had my shop setup in less time than any other software similar to it! CS MV had many features I wanted and needed built-in that ALL other software DOES NOT or you have to pay extra for!! Amazing software and they are always updating & improving it. The best purchase I've ever made!

Some areas could use some work for easier setup; specific Shipping charges.
Support credits can be expensive.
PayPal setup can be troublesome. (However, this is not a CS-Cart issue)

There is a lot you need to know before you can begin using this. Please consider your background before starting this, or hire someone with the correct software background so they can help guide you to your dream website. There is some coding involved, so be sure you know at minimum of some basic coding skills. This is a great platform with a lot of support but would require a lot of time down the line to get to where you wanted.

There are a lot of great ways this E-commerce platform can guide you along the way if your a beginner. Aside from that, there are a lot of applications that you can integrate into your website and the platform is easy to customize. This platform is a great way to start your own e-commence website. Very powerful and complex.

Despite the fact that there are lots of videos to aid how to use this multi-vendor program. There are a lot of steps that lead you down the rabbit hole. You definitely need the customer support to aid you along the way. I personally got stuck because I couldn't set up PayPal with my multi-vendor website and thus could never set up my website in the end. From what I remember Paypal was an item that could not be integrated into our website, as you would need a developer to install PayPal into your website. My team is not experience, so we sort of feel we wasted our money. You definitely need to know a bit of background of how to set up websites to even begin to understand how this whole process works.

CS-Cart Multi-Vendor is the perfect solution for e-Commerce! I've been using it for MONTHS now. I can safely advise!

Love the customisation aspect of the platform. It has the ability to install plugins and themes to get the look and functionality that you are after. It also has so many great features already built in, and is a great tool to get you started, as well as if you are an experience e-commerce user and most importantly they offer great support.

- One time fee model. You buy it once, it's yours for life.
- The Multi-Vendor environment opens up so many possibilities for me as I can allow other vendors on my site.
- Highly customizable and a great forum.

- No major cons except that the support team can sometimes take a while to attend to the issues.
