It may take a while to learn the ins and outs of the software, but it was worth it, after trying many different options, as it allows lots of customisation both from apps and using developers. It will certainly provide what my business needs at the moment, there are of course areas of improvement, particularly the shipping and backend usability, hopefully these are things CSCART will improve upon for future updates.

A very useful, well priced software, the great thing is hosting it on your own servers, which makes it favourable to SAAS solutions.
So much functionality, if anything too much in the default package, however thankfully I was able to strip down the bits I didn't need, with the useful Add-Ons manager. And of course add extra functionality through the marketplace which is easy.
Was better than other multivendor solutions I have tried.
Front end themes can make it look really good, and usability is pretty good.

The Backend functionality for vendors in multivendor are not so good but workable.
The Shipping Administration is a bit complicated, but again works for me at the moment and of course, pretty much anything can be customised.

In January 2019, I was looking for an online business idea that I could afford and manage without IT skills for software and website management. Checking from google search I finally found CS-Cart software. While doing a thorough analysis of this software, I came to know that the CS-Cart Multi-Vendor is a self-hosted ecommerce solution for building online marketplaces similar to Amazon, eBay, Jumia, AliExpress, Etsy, etc. What mostly motivated my company to acquire CS-Cart Multi-Vendor software for our marketplace is it is a completely customizable out of the box online marketplace, easy to set up (I did myself) and making it unique and professional-looking on a non-recurring cost model. My business model was therefore to have an online marketplace where, independent vendors/sellers have their own admin panels and showcase their products in a shared storefront. The CS-Cart Multi-Vendor edition of our marketplace lets other vendors sell on our site, while we take commissions or monthly fee. We are still launching our company and vendors are still in trial period for letting them experience first our marketplace before we implement our revenue model. Our vendors are impressed by the way CS-Cart Multi-Vendor is very well organized, feature-rich, user-friendly and easy customizable cart software for e-commerce businesses. It was wonderful to see how it was easy to adjust it to Burundian market, language and laws. All users of our marketplace can use and manage it fast, with no problems for people that have no experience with webshops software and online stores. Simply put, we were able to start our e-commerce business with a fully featured dashboard on CS-Cart Multi-vendor in just little effort. Simple and the best multivendor cart software for me. Being able to create an online marketplace with a tight budget was a big jump for us and we are getting what we paid for. We are very happy and we encourage the CS-Cart team to keep with this good work.

Whether you are a start-up or a well established company, you are able to acquire a feature rich professional tool for your ecommerce with a lifetime license (onetime fee) and super easy to customize. People are always willing to help and technical support is all we need. You need a functionality or feature, add-ons are available and their developers are best friends. One year we are using CS-Cart Multi-Vendor for our shop, we found it very easy to make, customize and maintain. Until now, we did not have any security issue for all this period. The software is very Admin user friendly providing everything that they need to make everything well organised and stands out is there.

This is only a con for me living in Burundi where payment gateways are not working and making it difficult to process payments online. Payment methods templates are not customized to mobile payment technologies like payment processing using telecoms. Developers did not keep in mind this part of the world when devising payment processing methods for CS-Cart Multi-Vendor based marketplace.

Excellent multi-vendor software for online stores. Stable and most reliable product from my experience of almost one year. If you do not believe me just search BIGBAG.PK on Google and checkout for yourself the final product which is out come of the CS Cart Multivendor Software.

There are many, few of the most important are as under:-
a. Easy to understand if you have basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Powerpoint. No need to have high level computer languages like HTML, CSS, php. However, if know you have added advantage
b. Easy to setup and operate
c. Good documentation of the software supported by video tutorial for each and every tab
d. Prompt backup support through CS Cart Help Desk. I will recommend to make best use of their first 90 days free help.
e. Even CS Cart Help Desk is available after free time period for very little cost
f. Continuous upgrade of the software to improve upon or fix previous bugs
g. Best suited for EU, USA market
h. Converting your website into an App for Google Play and Apple Stores and assisting you in getting it uploaded as well.
h. I can carry on for ever. Just use it- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

There are not very cons of the system, but I will love if CS-Cart management could consider following:
a. Provision of built-in add on for online payment method via JAZZPAY (Mobilink Pakistan) and easypaisa (by Telenor Pakistan) for Pakistani market
b. Inclusion of TCS, Blue Ex, Leapards Courier for Pakistan

The pros out weigh the cons when it comes to CS-Cart. I haven't really tried any other multi-vendor platforms but why would i? CS-Cart has everything you could practically ask for from such a platform.

It is user friendly,
They offer responsive websites,
Free mobile app,
And many add ons to go with it

- Limited number of support offered
- Inability to modify the shipping method section and be able to add a feature that will notify my independent couriers whenever a purchase has been made.
- Mobile app wasn't really appealing to the eye

Efficient operation, Responsive and professional customer support, very good website speed, very useful add-ons

The most important advantage for me is that this software has most of built-in features I need, and has a very useful add-ons.

Software pricing quite high, the default theme not very attractive.

Powerful, complex and a bit overwhelming if you're not a hardcore nerd. You can use it in a surface level way or you can get your hands dirty with coding and tweaking the hell out of it.

This Software is a Swiss Army Knife, literally does everything in every direction. Whatever type of E-Commerce platform you're trying to implement, CS-Cart is a great and extensible solution.

Very, very steep learning curve! Videos are available to aid in learning topics but even so, it's still a pretty daunting task to learn it inside and out.

I have been using their software and services since last 6 years, don't have any problem, very happy.

The CS-Cart team is doing a meaningful job for world e-com entrepreneurs;
There are lots of pros for their software,
- Bug Free
- Heaps of feature
- Dedicated Support team
- No language barrier to communicate with them
- Continuous products development
- Lots of modules/add-ons from their app store

Honestly I couldn't find any Cons yet ; But I think they could release more free add-ons from their end.

As an artist I need a better storefront to sell my products online with better presentation and CS-Cart provides just that.

A much better alternative to sell your products online when compared to other services such as Gumroad, Sellfy, etc.
Also provides a decent 3 months free trial. and its also 1 Time payment which i prefer.

Costly but worth every penny since it is one time payments and you don't have to keep paying those annoying monthly subscription.

I am using the Cs Cart Multivendor Plus version and I must say that they have designed front end and back end user friendly and still updating. It was hard in the beginning to choose which platform to use for e commerce, but after we saw the reviews and test it for free Trial i was convinced that this is the one that we were looking for, so we hope that this will help you too.

For start you have a Free trial before you purchase it. After I test it i saw that this is the Multi Vendor e-shop that i needed. They also have lots of videos to help from the beginning. After that they have a Detailed documentation that you can look for instructions and also FAQ that are also there to help. I find it user friendly and you almost need to know basic programming knowledge to use it.

For the website everything is good, but they need to improve the Mobile app

I can say CS-Cart have carefully designed a back-end and front-end e-commerce operational system that is very friendly to use. They have provided easy and friendly interface that accommodates both dummies and experts; to enable consumers, merchants, manufacturers and other participants to conduct business in the electronics marketplace efficiently.

I started using CS-Cart in 2015, and I have seen them build a relationship with their customers by the updates and changes they have made to best service their customers. They understand what I need whenever I ask them for a modification, that is very important for developers to be able to do exactly what their clients are looking for and beyond.

One area where I would want them to improve is the default layout settings at the admin pages. Add more free Theme templates.

Great market place software which delivers a lot of performance and CS Cart team brings out really cool new updates every month which makes CS Cart even better with every passing month.

3. Add-on functionality is very handy to enhance the functionality of the store.

2. Mobile app code very old.

I love using Cs cart and learning how to customise it a little bit more every time. I am very glad of having chosen Cs cart for my Marketplace.

I am not an expert in coding but know this is a powerful software, it is easy to understand and to customise.

Maybe I haven't had the software for long enough but I haven't got any cons yet.
