Overall this is a great tool with nearly limitless functionality. This tool is excellent for all levels of data scientists to work within.

I like the ease of pulling in countless data sets, cross referencing them and easily displaying graphics/numbers/exportable data with insights that myself and our internal team can act upon. The ease alone allows someone such as myself, a marketing minded individual, to look at data and make recommendations/action items to our team versus having to work through a SQL/Data Expert and waiting for the interpretation.

The only thing that would be above and beyond is if the system would allow me to send scheduled reports to an external email address (meaning to my clients).

I definitely recommend it as a BI tool, it makes life easier if you are the analyst building all dashboards, but it also makes it easy if you are only consuming the data.

It is easy to use and manage the data, and also powerful to do transforms and manipulate it the way needed. The Magic ETL makes it super easy to do SQL transforms, in an intuitive way.
Creating and managing dashboards is also easy and in minutes you can have the data you need in several different visualizations to meet the needs of the company.

Although I understand the reason behind it, it can be expensive to have all the nice features Domo has to offer, such as the Data Science module for example.

I love Domo 90% of the time. Occasionally we have something which we can't do. We have to have another BI for our financial statements. Would be nice to be able to have both in the same suite.

All BI tools are going to have their strengths and weaknesses.

Domo's strength is taking data and displaying it for non-technical people. The graphs which are available are simple... And that works for the majority of people in most organizations.

Data Governance and Permissioning is excellent.

- Complex graphs and concepts are tough to use in DOMO.
- You can't create a financial statement in DOMO without an addon and a significant amount of work.

Very satisfied with the product and the performance. Charts look sleek and easy on the eyes. Overall very satisfied.

Easy to build cards. Sumo cards are super useful to analyze large amounts of data, Upsert is a great feature and very helpful with SAP BW as a source system.

Disappointed that it cant handle incremental (Delta) loads. But now with UPSERT, it is no more a concern.

Overall, I am pleased with Domo and eager to learn what we will allow it to do next! (I am sure my company is throttling how much information Domo shares at once?!

I enjoy the daily updates via many options - I chose text! And I know important changes as they happen!

Sometimes I get too many messages telling me the same thing... I am quite certain I can go into my Domo account and tighten my settings! I am a fan!

Domo has been a new tool to me.
I am familiar with Tableau & Looker but Domo doesn't skip a beat when compared to those two products.

Can be tricky to learn initially but once you get your feet beneath you, it is smooth sailing.

Domo really provides my business with the detailed analytics and insights that we can use to maximize on our revenue. Its GUI is simple and easy to navigate and really provides for a shorter learning curve. Overall great experience so far!

Simple, easy to use. Gui is designed for someone to not have to worry about opening up a user manual.

Feature parity with competitors would be nice. but i know that's a work-in progress. For all the features and capabilities it provides for now, it does a great job, but having more features would help to provide a deeper insight.

I use DOMO many times per day to help me answer the questions I need. It saves me a lot of time. Glad we have DOMO.

It is great to be able to create custom searches and add filters with easy to drill down to get the data needed.

There is a lot of data and sometimes it takes time it open a card that has a big data set to filter.

Overall I rate Domo a 4/5, it is comparable to other visualization platforms like Tableau, although there are a few things I would change. Overall I enjoy the easy user experience and mostly self-explanatory features, as well as the color scheme.

It's a great tool for business analysts and easy for anyone to get started on data manipulation and create dashboard reports.

There are a lot of resources on training and helpful tips.

Lack of complex functionality.
As a web-based application, some times browser not responding and you will lose what you are working on.

Domo is an amazing tool to help enable business intelligence. Our analysts are able to get data into the hands of key stakeholders quickly and efficiently. I'd highly recommend giving this tool a spin if you're looking for a solution in the BI space and don't want to pay for a dozen tools when this one can be your Swiss Army Knife.

Domo's Magic ETL tool enables business users to quickly take disparate sources of data and start combining them, no code required!

The Analyzer (Chart builder) tool can be a little intimidating to newer users, and some features are hidden or paywalled (without any real indication to end users that they are even available).

Overall, I've been able to really utilize Domo to help me in my job. I pull numbers and statistics daily to modify our product offering, price points and provide suggestions based on our trends. It also saves me hours worth of work from trying to piece together information from different data sets.

It is fairly robust and allows a lot of opportunity for customization. Able to pull in many different data sets from multiple different types of systems and standardize the reading of that information in one platform.

It may be the way my company is deploying it but it seems to be slightly limited on flexibility. Which it is hard to standardize everything but should allow to identify anomalies and outliers a bit better.

Great product if you have the support of your leadership. This is key, you need to have a team that is willing to use this new tool and support it.

Domo is easy to use, easy to learn, and democratizes data for our firm. We were able to upskill our entire intern group in a matter of weeks. The user experience is sleek and the drill paths are very useful and easy to set up.

Data connection can take time. Setting up processes to manage data cleanliness is the responsibility of the admin and it can sometimes be hard to track what to remove. Pricing is a difficult conversation for smaller user cases.

Overall, aside from all of the issues that we have had over the last 3 years with Domo, it is still very easy to navigate and develop inside of. When it's working, all of the connections are correct, and you aren't waiting on support to resolve an issue, you are left with a very sleek and powerful B.I. product that I would recommend to any large company. For any small business, I would probably send them toward a cheaper alternative.

Easy to build dashboards for easy-to-read data analytics. Easy to send off scheduled reports to staff. Data can be set up to auto-update upon upload, which will auto-update all of the cards (graphs and analytics) upon upload as well. Once your dashboards are setup, the data and analytics are all essentially sell sufficient at that point making future reference as quick as your internet will allow.

Tech Support is next to nonexistent. We have had data upload connection issues over the past few years (more than twice a year outside of our control) that took Tech Support upwards of almost 20 days to resolve to leave us essentially down for a whole month (which we had already paid for and did not receive any proration or reimbursement on). I've opened support tickets for the simplest of issues that took over a week to even hear a response from support, let alone a solution.

Domo is pricey for what it is and for a small business (fewer than 100 employees), there is plenty of other B.I. software that would replicate Domo's results at a much cheaper price point.

The biggest issue we have had though- in the last 3 years of using Domo, we have had 5 account reps. Every other quarter, it seems that Domo tosses their accounts between their reps, resulting in our rep never completely understanding our instance of the product and how we use it. This leaves the account rep essentially useless when we need to resolve a major issue, thus sending us back to the customer support line, which again, takes forever to hear back from.

Overall it meets our needs, though I would like to see enhancements to users ability to change cards or views of cards for just themselves. For instance, we build an enterprise report on company wide instock % but my camping merchant might want to add or remove fields to the stacked bar chart but he does not have access to Analyzer (those changes would need to be saved and impact the card for everyone, saving a copy of the card inflates the number of cards in the instance). I'd like to see expanded functionality beyond adding filters like changing the card type and adding and removing fields for temporary views and analysis.

Automates reports that can easily be shared across the company so it is good for reporting KPIs and keeping us on the same page with our KPI definitions.

Cards struggle to render correctly on large datasets causing routine timeouts. Also it is irritating in Analyzer when a change to a field in the dataset breaks a card and it's a guessing game as to which filed got renamed or removed. DOMO know which filed is being called on in the card that it can't find in the dataset under the hood, so just tell me instead of making me figure it out!!!

Overall my experience with Domo has been amazing! I love the tool and the community Domo is working to build.

Domo is so easy and flexible to use! Whether you are a technical user or not there is a feature for everyone. The tool can pretty much be customized to do anything you want it to.

There are a few great features that do not get a lot of attention from Domo's product team. I would love for Domo to re-visit these features so that they can become even more useful.

I have been DOMO daily to monitor our internal metrics and present them to the leadership team. One pretty attractive thing is the ease of use and navigation. DOMO provides easy customizations and helps in building charts or dashboards as per our needs with a highly interactive user interface.

Domo has been a great tool in my industry. It’s useful in seeing what factors are driving my business so I can be more efficient in my efforts.

Data is real time.
Quick access to data without having to spend a lot of time interpreting the metrics and data.
Mobile app is really polished.

Exporting data into an excel spreadsheet or file can sometimes be a little challenging. Could be due to user error, though.

The experience has been great, support responds extremely quickly if a problem does arise. Our entire team uses it on a daily basis and it has dramatically increased speed.

Domo is extremely easy to use and has become an integral part of our day to day. It adds the ability to combine datasets from lots of different locations and datatypes into one seamless dataset that gives a holistic view.

We work very closely with several other organizations and transferring dashboards and datasets between organizations to avoid reinventing the wheel is extremely cumbersome and time-consuming.

I have used Tableau, Power BI, Looker and Sisense. And I have learnt that no BI tool is equipped with everything. Domo is as good as any other BI tool. It has its limitations like all the other BI's but it's a great BI.

Lots of connectors. API connection. Domo is a very easy tool to use from the ETL process to dashboard and card building.

There is room for improvement in Domo. The Jupyter features are incredibly valuable but they are an expensive add-on. I wish Domo had color palettes.
