Overall this is a decent solution for your internal digitalization. Not only intranet but also for the digitalization of things that was before always done on paper or in bad excels in your organization. Overall a good fit as realization of new things is really quick and therefore cheap. It's possible to have internal application managers who can create applications without developers - we use an external agency for that, but it's also possible to do this in-house with no coding skills (of course technical understanding is necessary).

- It's easy with Intrexx to implement applications for gathering information within the company that are directly processed and tasks are distributed to people who have to do the job.
- in comparison to other tools the realization is quick and therefore cost effective.
- an integrated app store allows to implement applications like social networks etc. with just a few clicks.
- we use Intrexx as our intranet solution. We use basic intranet features but are connected to lot of other internal systems. e.g. the identity management. This basic intranet is enriched with Intrexx apps like Share (Social Network) but also with several custom applications like event management, educational management tools etc. Realization of this in comparison to other platforms was quite easy too.

- html code produced sometimes seems not to allow the flexibility needed for cutting edge ux. Although everything is possible here this is often extra effort. I think this is as the application is structured in a way its done by the Intrexx framework which you have limited control over (core). within this, flexibility is limited.

The variety is impressive. Standard applications can be used immediately and individually adapted.

The scope of services is impressive and goes beyond a pure intranet. The portal can be designed very easily with the Designer: colors, fonts, symbols, buttons or menu structures can be selected with a click of the mouse. Intrexx has various tools that simplify work and thus redesign work processes and working environments.

Since Intrexx is so extensive, a certain amount of know-how is required.

Most customers visualize existing content and processes distributed so far in various applications and databases within their intranet, to make it easy accessible for the many co-workers.

Intrexx supports my clients whenever functionality is missing in their standard application landscape.
Development is much cheaper and fast (time to market) compared to individual software development.

Standard Apps developed by UP are not fulfilling customer needs, individual App development is in some cases faster and more efficient.
It would be great, if UP improves App quality and functionality.

I would say that Intrexx is an efficient low code platform which guarantees a quick solution. Sometimes there are strange errors but you can fix them really fast.

Intrexx is the right tool for digitalisation and automation. Companies can develop tools without high effort.

Intrexx as Saas und Paas offers speed and agility in the development of web applications. External classes can be integrated through the Java openness of the platform and individual development is possible. The supplied Groovy APIs and JS APIs are powerful and deliver high performance. The three integrated programming languages ​​Groovy, JavaScript and Velocity work hand in hand thanks to these APIs and enable the use of all common development methods. The process modeling section enables processes and workflows to be mapped and automated quickly. Various layouts can also be created and implemented. Standards such as Windows authentication, multi-tenancy and a wide range of interfaces such as REST, ODBC, common Microsoft products and much more are supported and function reliably.

Some problems can only be solved with programming skills.

As a user, if I can pay for the product I'm very happy about the functionalities, features and intuitive design, but as a developer I have to say, that the product has many tiny drawbacks which make the development much more complex, irritating and even few times longer than it could potentially be. But I believe that United Planet is doing their best to improve the product quality for the best experience possible.

From user's point of view, it's easy to use system with intuitive interface and with high practical benefits. Properly written system can be fully managed and supported by Intrexx developers.
From developer's point of view, it is a great idea of being able to develop complex web systems many times faster than by a regular development. It's a low code platform with some built in features which make developers live much easier.

As a user I'd say low desing and styling options.
As a developer, the product has some annoying bugs and misses some interesting features, which both make the low code platform not so low code with increased need of dummy scripting to achieve the required behavior. The product is in my opinion either overpriced, or users are being charged for every single Intrexx request.

You can mix no code programming and parts of a program written in different programming languages.

This Low code development platform allows us to create tailor-made applications more quickly and at the same cost as standard solutions that we must configure and modify to adapt them to customer needs.

The design studio could be more complete with more patterns.

Overall Intrexx is easy to use and for small projects perfect as soon as its a bigger project it takes a while to take the control. Overall its good but it could be way better.

I don't like that you are forced to use the Intrexx commands and it sometimes really gets in the way, that the code does not change anything because Intrexx already controls it.

Intrexx is an excellent product for efficiently implementing and deploying intranet and/or extranet solutions for your organization. Most, I was intrigued by how a neat-looking, fully functional web application can be implemented in very little time.

- The learning curve is rather shallow. You can quickly achieve results for "real life" use cases.
- If the low code development features are not sufficient for your task, you can employ the Groovy programming language to implement (almost) anything.
- There is a possibility to automate background tasks and react to events with so-called "processes".
- Intrexx offers powerful integration features with third-party systems.
- Qualified and quite quick support.

- Debugging and testing can still be improved. Today, the process of debugging an Intrexx application is as follows: testing your application in the browser, checking the log files if an error occurs, fixing the error, testing the fix in the browser ... and so on.
- Reuse of parts of your applications in other/new solutions is limited.

In conclusion, we are very happy to be using Intrexx and its Low-Code approach towards modern software solutions due its simple, fast and straight-forward approach!

Intrexx is a great solution for implementing portal software solutions. Our company is using it for development and production purposes mainly at government institutions.
Implementing is easy to understand, fast and straight-forward. From building standard applications, implementing complex business logic and process to editing the layout, there is almost nothing that you cannot accomplish using Intrexx to fulfill customer needs and requirements.
Although there is no need for using programming languages in order to get a straight-forward solution, knowledge of Groovy, JavaScript, Velocity and CSS helps to build more customizable solutions for specific customer needs.

The only downside I can think of is the lack of debug options within the Intrexx standard code editor. It would be nice to include those options known from other IDEs in some of the upcoming updates and releases.

The support is great, the software is fast. Very friendly and professional people at United Planet (Intrexx Developer).

Everybody can understand and use Intrexx in Not time. A very useful tool to automate and optimize Business processes.

The pricing model recently made it much more difficult to justify the use of Intrexx in smaller use cases.

Overall we are very happy to have Intrexx n our company. We still discover new cool features and and find new business cases that we can tackle with functionalities from Intrexx.

I have been developing applications with Intrexx for 20 years and be still enthusiastic about the possibilities to create valuable applications quickly and inexpensively, which make everyday work easier for the user. Definitely a good platform to drive the digitalization process in the company forward to the next level.

Easy installation with just one control tool. Clear and easy to use interface. Many interfaces to other systems and databases. Fast implementation of web applications with integrated workflows. Lots of customization and expandability options. Great user experience.
Short training period for application developers.

Styling responsive designs is a bit time-consuming and the documentation could sometimes be a bit more detailed.

I think Intrexx is a powerful tool especially for developers with few experience in programming and coding.

Intrexx is less a non-code developer tool than a low-code tool. In order to be able to exploit the full potential of it you need basic knowledge in coding and database structure. It works great for developers with few experience in programming or coding. The Intrexx- training program familiarizes you with the program. Due to the framework, you are able to create applications after a relatively short learning period.

In order to be able to unlock the full potential and to circumvent certain limitations, a certain level of Java/Groovy is required.
