Really a great product, which deserves much more attention. I can only recommend Intrexx to you, it is worth it for your business!

The best thing about Intrexx is its simplicity. On the one hand, you can already achieve an extremely large amount without coding, and on the other hand, with additional coding (Javascript, Velocity & Groovy), all conceivable business cases can be realized. It is suitable for everyone!

So in very few places Intrexx could be even more intuitive, but that is whining on a high level.

Overall, I think the world is a better place with the help of Intrexx. They only need to make it more easy to use for developers.

You obtain simple and functional tools designed to improve the workflow of your business with close to no coding experience. If you choose to have knowledgeable developers work with Intrexx, you will have better apps in a shorter amount of time than if you chose to build the respective tool from zero, code-only.

It's low-code, not zero-code, so if the Intrexx developer does not have coding experience it might be a challenge to design a truly powerful app and reach the high potential that Intrexx has. Also, there are some tool limitations which you can overcome by getting to know it really well.

My experience so far has been mostly positive but I have had a few problems as well. However, these could mostly be solved.

I like that you can work with Intrexx very well even if you don't know the program because it is relatively easy to use and understand. I had no idea about Intrexx at the beginning but was able to work with it after a few hours. There is also a lot of good help offered if you don't understand something or something doesn't work.

There are some small bugs depending on the version. Each version has its own bugs and unfortunately there is no Intrexx version that is perfect yet.

In my opinion low code platforms are the future of software development in a market where software developers are a scarce resource. From my research I would say that Intrexx is a brilliant low code platform that pays off really well with the operation of multiple portals or applications.

- It is important to keep in mind that it is a low code and not a ‘no code’ platform. Skills in Groovy/Java, Velocity, Javascript and some CSS will help you to use the full capacity of Intrexx.

I must come to the conclusion that with Intrexx we have a good ROI. Additionally it eases a lot of the working load.

Only little to no coding skills needed to create good-looking applications. Thanks to the structure in the portal manager with its several riders you can quickly and flexibly develop, manage and deploy your apps. In the rider ‘applications’ you can create and customize the frontend of your application just by dragging and dropping elements into the interface.

Sometimes it’s a bit challenging to make use of external libraries and to achieve a up to date slick look and feel of your apps.

Would be great if the used Javascript standard would be ES6.

Regarding the projects we have realized so far, we can say that Intrexx offers a broad range of business adapters, APIs and drivers that put us in the position to access almost every type of datasource (read & write). In our case, we have connected the following tools to our Intrexx Portal: ERP, CRM, Support Portal as well as timekeeping :)

Disregarding that Intrexx features website with all that limitations websites have, there are no big cons. One my want to have more control on how Intrexx portals may interact.

I would say, the first steps are simple but if you want to get to the End-Game you need to get used to Groovy, Java Script and Velocity.

Thanks to been low code you can get results quite easy and fast.
If you need more options you can expand it with Groovy, Java Script and Velocity.

Sometimes you need same tricks to position your Objects so it looks exactly like you want.

Overall, Intrexx is a platform for easy application creation. Through the use of programming languages, it becomes a powerful tool. In case of problems, there is a large community for error analysis and correction. I would use it again at any time.

Processes can be digitized and automated with little programming knowledge.

Many functions are offered via the Portal Manager, which can be placed in the development by drag & drop.

Monitoring of the system can also be achieved via the Portal Manager.

If the Intrexx board resources are not sufficient, JavaScript, Velocity, or Groovy can be used to help.

There is still too much manual work in some places as far as a good interface is concerned.

Intrexx is a platform that allows you to create and expand applications quickly and efficiently. Above all, the flexible development of applications, the connection and integration of external systems bring out the strengths of Intrexx.

Fast and easy application development. It is possible to create very simple applications without programming knowledge, but also to have very complex and sophisticated applications created by software developers, for example.

There are still elements that require manual intervention, but should be standard in a current framework.

I have used Intrexx more than 5 years for internal use and build over 10 customer solutions by using Intrexx. It is easy to deploy and includes all the basic features you need, for example, for intranet & extranet usage. The features, processes, UI/UX etc. can be expanded by using your own code.

Bunch of easy to deploy features without coding. You can easily create the basic applications. But if you want to write code, you can do that too.

Design and implementation of really good UI/UX is somehow limited or requires a lot of coding. The pricing could be a bit more aggressive for certain market and business areas, for example for SME businesses with a lot of employees.

I work daily with Intrexx and in my opinion it is a very comfy tool to create applications for both our company and our customers.
Sometimes there are strange errors which appear on very rare cases, but when they do their helpdesk is ready and able to help fast.

- Many possibilities to connect to other systems (MFiles, AD, Office365, you name it).
- Java-based (Groovy, Velocity, Java).
- Cross-platform (I'm developing on MacOS).

- It's hard to find ready-to-use solutions by myself (AppStore).

It is really fun to develop applications in Intrexx. It is also always a joy to see customers amazed at how quickly functions can be implemented. I can only recommend it to anyone who is looking for a versatile low code environment.

Intrexx is the most flexible low code environment I know. I have been working with it every day for almost 4 years now, and I am always amazed at the variety of possibilities Intrexx offers. This means all available functions.
For example, there are no limits to the application design. Prefabricated elements can be used with which simple applications can be implemented amazingly quickly. Nevertheless, everything can be adapted as desired by the customer. Be it a design adaptation in CSS or a special element. There are really no limits to creativity.

As already mentioned, Intrexx has many functions and possibilities. As a developer, you probably never know all of the functions in the smallest detail. The help or the documentation of the available functions could be somewhat better from the manufacturer's side.

Intrexx is a great tool to digitalize your business fast and easy. I use Intrexx every day as a user and as a developer. You have great ready to use applications for social collaboration, document management or quality management. If there is no application for your use case, you can easily create your own.

Intrexx is an easy-to-learn low-code development platform. In fact, it is more an IDE for creating applications, processes, and the necessary layouts/designs. Through this all-in-one solution, you no longer have to struggle with various frameworks for the different areas, you only have to "learn" Intrexx. In addition to the low-code development feature, creating my application or my process via drag & drop, I can fall back on higher programming languages such as Velocity or Groovy. With this, almost all of the possibilities of "normal" application development are available to me.
In my opinion, Intrexx is really good in bringing together data from various systems (via direct database access, via web service, or via a special connector) and visualizing it bundled as tables and charts.

There are a lot of expert attributes that greatly simplify your life, but somtimes they are not well documented.
In addition, it is difficult to automatically test or debug Intrexx applications. For this, you have to fall back on the possibilities of the browser manufacturers. However, this is not necessarily a problem of Intrexx per se, but a general problem with web applications.
