Before I bought Luminar Neo, I used Affinity Photo. I still use it today, but Luminar Neo does most of the editing. It's fast, and easy to use. I appreciate the masking the most. This is a totally simple yet very effective feature. I also use the HDR extension a lot. I just love Luminar Neo.

I like the speed at which I edit my photos. The Luminar Neo is very easy to use and you'll get to like it very quickly.

Sorry, but so far I haven't found anything that Luminar Neo can't offer me when editing photos.

Good but can use some better explanations and how to get to the information.

Very good. The program very helpful and to the point. Some of the things the program will do are not known to me and not easy to use.

Some additional info perhaps would help. The Guide is not helpful in some items or is not arranged with info needed where I can find it, confusing.

I have used several editing software’s like Photoshop, Paintshop etc but all those requires some skill and getting used to, but with Luminar Neo I was editing like a pro in less than 30 mins of getting used to.
What amazed me was the AIs and Extensions, I can turn my dull photos into amazing frame worthy pictures by just few clicks and not one can tell, for eg, that the stunning sky is not real in my picture of sunset.
Also, they have the best support team ever. I purchased an extension and entered my email address wrong, for which the extension was not showing up. I emailed support team and got a response from them in 30 mins stating that they fixed my mistake, oh! And did I mention that I emailed them on Holiday? Yet I received the response and the resolution so quickly,

To be honest, I don’t find any cons, this app works just as advertised.

As a beginner I am happy to have Luminar Neo for editing my pics. Kind and helpful support to solve issues. I am glad with Luminar Neo.

A good software to develop fotos. Sometimes the styles are too extreme (color etc.) but you get a good value for the price. I would recommend that software to my friends.

Maybe I am not totally experienced with this tool, but the possibility to change styles are rather poor.
Masking seems to be complicated.
Too few add-ons included.

Overall, I would highly recommend to amateur, or intermediate photographers to get their hands wet with lots of filter and preset options to get their photographs looking great.

I have been using Luminar since almost 2017 and have loved it. It's fast, very versatile. It's easy to learn and get going with it. The presets and editing features are amazing. Skylum also keeps bringing lots of new stuff, like LUTs, Textures, skies, new presets filters, that you could use to enhance your photos. It's quite reasonably priced too.

Sometimes, the app just quits in the middle of the process and doesn't give any kind of errors notification. Other than that I haven't much encountered much cons!

This software is now part of my “pro” photography toolbox. In addition, the support is very responsive and all this despite the current difficulties that we are all experiencing. Congratulations to Team Skylum 🤙💙

Luminar Neo is superb photography software with a typically creative and innovative approach to AI. Intuitive and easy to use interface. This software can be used alone or in ADDITION to more classic/standard software like Lightroom Classic and Lightroom (and Photoshop) because it provides a complementary approach and vision. This is a great artistic plus and a time saver for many operations.

I use this software in addition to Photoshop and Lightroom Classic. At this stage I do not see any disadvantages because I use it for its Creative and AI qualities, for its advantages and in addition to my other classic tools.

Luminar should definitely give some brownies (and bonus) to the team, especially for being very responsive during Christmas Eve.

Fairly easy to handle. The ergonomics are very well thought out: after a few hours, you have the impression of knowing the software for a long time. Artificial intelligence brings speed, efficiency and time savings. Its often astonishing results even make you want to “play” with the software. And when - like me twice - we find ourselves faced with a problem, we can count on very responsive and efficient support.

Some more complicated features would require a little more information or tutorials from SKYLUM. That said, there are countless tutorials on the internet, but not all of them are of equal quality, and they remain relatively general.

This is a great software with regular upgrade, newer functionality. Thank you for this tool. It's great.

The link between the suggestions and your own analysis of the problem encountered is missing. The fact that ultimately it was me who identified the real problem of lack of memory due to its management.

I have been using Corel's software for many years. A good product for both photo and video. With the new development of the products, however, other companies have also made a name for themselves. For me, Luminar Neo in particular stood out. I love this variety of editing. Playing with the light, the mood, the rapid change and optimization of my pictures. I especially like the editing of the sub-areas. I am a passionate amateur photographer.

As I read today, in the future, from 2025, only the Pro subscription will be provided with updates. I bought a license and would be very sorry if I had to switch to a subscription because of it.

Wonderful. It has so many features, and you can tell Skylum puts all of its effort into this app and its updates. The price is DEFINITELY worth it for all of the features and the shear quality of them. If your a Landscape photographer, a Landscape photographer, or anyone looking to break into Photography, Luminar Neo is for you!

The Product may be on the pricy side, but compared to Adobe the price may as well be asking for the app kindly. The app is more finished than any competitor's app, and the features it has is more than enough. However, Skylum has an extension for any gripe you may have with the app! Luminar Neo also has many purchasable objects like sky replacements, Presets, and TONS of AI features! This is only scratching the surface of all Luminar Neo has to offer, so go check out the trial! Also, the support takes up to 5-10 minutes, which is hella fast!

The only bad thing would be the price, but if you think it's bad, then use PhotoScape X because this obviously isn't for you if you aren't willing to pay for it. If you are on the fence about getting Neo, try the trial!

I have not been using Luminar Neo for a long time. Overall, it is an image processing software that is easy to master. It is definitely easier to master than PS, and I can get very good results.

The interface is intuitive and the design is user-friendly, making it easy for anyone to master.
AI image enhancement can perfectly modify photos with one click.
This company's after-sales service is the most professional I have ever encountered. They can respond to users' problems in a very timely manner and solve them quickly.

The highlight processing ability of the image is slightly poor.
If you use an older model computer, editing will be slower.
The layer function is a bit strange, and I don’t quite understand the logic behind it.
The reply to edit step feature seems not intuitive enough and difficult to use.
The promotional version purchased does not have the 4-6x photo magnification function.

I like that the programme and the tools load a load faster. The tools are very responsive and sensitive.

Erase tool, Develop tool, Enhancement slide, I find it better than Lightroom.

Regular updates. Accurate slides on all tools.

Presets.

No facility to add a border to my photos. Cannot move photos within a folder for comparison purposes.

The most important thing for me with photo editing software is the hotline. When I have problems with Luminar Neo, the Skylum support team is extremely friendly, helpful and competent. My questions were processed and solved within a short time by email.

The Tool Amplifier AI are excellent. The structure of the photos are improved in color and contrast with little effort. I use these tools all the time and am always delighted by the top results.

For me as an amateur, I can't say anything negative about Luminar Neo.

As long as it works, it's fine.
