Overall I am very satisfied with Luminar Neo as my photography editing program.
Add that with great customer service and the addition of new add ons, I like the direction this company is going.

When I purchased Luminar Neo, I bought it outright. I really appreciated this option rather than a monthly or yearly fee. Same with any add ons such as “focus stacker”.
Their customer service is really good! Anytime I have asked a question or have had any issues my emails have been responded to promptly.

I found Luminar 4 a little glitchy at times but I am very satisfied with Luminar Neo.

Luminar Neo is an excellent photo editing application that is functionally rich, updated with new capabilities, and gorgeous to look at. The Skylum web site is filled with helpful information and add-in capabilities. Finally, their support is fast and amazing.

So many things. The functional capabilities of Luminar Neo are quite advanced. They have included Artificial Intelligence into both Luminar Ai and Luminar Neo. The interface is designed to allow rapid processing. It generally take very much less time to edit in Luminar Neo than alternatives I've tried. They add signifiant new capabilities often, more often than one can believe. And the design of both Luminar Neo and the Skylum web site is gorgeous. Finally, I contacted support recently and received help very rapidly, in less than a half day.

I can't think of anything I don't like. There a small number of capabilities, such as making a selection by color range, that I would like to see in a future update. This is a minor issue. They add new capabilities so fast, that I expect this will appear in a future update.

I have achieved some good results with it, and it's a lot of fun to work with.
I think that as I work with it for a longer period, the results will improve even further, and I will have a complete overview of the program.

The usage is simple and clear, the price is favorable, and the processing is AI-supported.

For me as a hobby photographer, the program is fast in processing my images.

Neo is the best photo editor available in the market. I have tested every photo editor but Neo is something special. Background removal is the best feature I have noticed. It is matchless and awesome. One can get every feature and more in this program.

I would be happy if this was my own cloud recording. Because the computer takes up space on the hard drive and the machine slows down.

Going above and beyond, Luminar Neo is such a great platform for photographers or enthusiasts to be able to grasp an quick understanding of editing with the best possible results, never letting clients down.

There’s nothing I dislike about the platform besides their pricing metrics, most times confusing, I used to get lost with which I should buy and the add-ons that stack the price towards checkout. I feel like simplicity could significantly help those who may struggle understanding where to purchase and what they’re getting.

Professional and prompt support by logging on to my account and requesting technical support with simple description of trouble.

Very fast response on a technical issue with my Neo software. MacOS update on MacBook Pro M1 caused the software to fail but tech support suggested to hold down the option key while starting the software and run from a backup version. Problem solved!

Nothing in particular. In early versions there have been some stability issues, but I didn't encounter any crashes for a long time now.

I have been using the Skylum programme since the beginning and am an enthusiastic user (even if not everything always works right away!).
But what I would really like to emphasise is the rapid assistance when there is a problem (usually of my own making)!

I can't say anything negative about the set here.

Overall, the service has always been great. I have never had to wait very long for a response, and the tech people have never given up on me. My only reason for the "Good" ratings for Ease and Design are my aging brain. It's nothing about Neo. I'm sure most people will find everything Excellent.

The older I get the more confused I get with details. Support is always very patient with me and my question. There is nothing they won't do to fix my problems.

I have no issues. I always get an answer to my questions.

Most of the time I get good results, but it still takes a lot of experience necessary to master all the complex possibilities.

Luminar Neo is a professional tool that also beginners can be use in such a way that you can achieve very good results.

The installation time is a bit too long. I am not sure is this a heavy software or not.

3. The Skylum website could use some work and differences between different types of subscriptions could be made more explicit and less confusing. Another round of usability testing with their target audience would go a long way toward solving this issue, at least in my opinion.

The option and ease of use for this software are outstanding; they also make editing photos that could be done in Photoshop--albeit not as easily or quickly--an much simpler and easier process. The ability to use Luminar Neo as a standalone product as well a filter that can be invoked from inside Photoshop makes Neo a versatile and affordable and ultimately essential tool for anyone who regulars edits and works with photography professionally or serious amateur.

The Skylum website isn't as user friendly and clear as it could be. I ended up inadvertently purchasing a second subscription when all wanted to do use add additional editing option to the subscription I already have. Similarly, the differences between what comes with a Lifetime purchase and what comes as part of the subscription service could be made more clear and explicit. In fairness; however, when I contacted their support team I received a prompt response, clear and direct answers to my question, and a very reasonable and fair solution to my problem.

After moving to the Pro version of Luminar Neo - because of the possibility to use the same version on my computer and on my laptop - I experienced problems to activate one product on my PC.

Until now I'm 100% happy with it. If the Layer based system could be a bit clear, that would even be better but it might be only in my perception.

It connects to most softwares of editing, it does the job and you can have it with a one purchase option. There is no better in the market.

The AI tools might be available to me only for a year. If the team could change that and allow its users to actually use these tools for longer, for sure it would be great.
