It's a decent program, but may not be for everyone. Recording wasn't as bad as in Collaborate Ultra or Zoom, both of which frequently disconnected us all no matter our internet speed or location, but for basic communication, Band was easier for staff and students. Many of the staff who weren't very used to using programs outside of email, spreadsheets, and Word, struggled but I think most would pick up how to navigate it just fine. Being able to edit PowerPoint together and store things in our Notebook were really useful. Recorded one-on-one tutoring sessions were really useful to students and staff, both for accountability and for students to review further in their free time. I'd recommend giving it a try, though I personally prefer Slack over Teams myself.

There's a lot of app integration for Teams. One Note ended up being really useful for compiling everything my classes covered in our live sessions. Video recording was great for students to look back on our extra tutoring sessions between classes. I love that I can hide the area behind myself. I prefer the privacy, and many of our students, shy about possibly revealing their home environment just for class, also loved this feature. Setting up sessions with students was easy.

While I myself didn't have issues, some of our students struggled to get their accounts set up and tech support had to be called. They were all able to et access eventually. If a student didn't have a strong connection, live sessions were often interrupted and they had to reconnect. Many of our students live in a mountainous, rural area, so this was a recurring problem. A strong connection and fast internet is definitely a must to get the max out of this. Android app settings and preferences are also organized differently than PC versions, which made for some confusion among our staff about how to set up notifications. It wasn't an issue for me, but there may be a steeper learner curve for those who aren't too tech savvy.

Overall, Teams has been a major asset for my teams on various projects. Especially in a time where we are separated across continents and time zones, and with Coronavirus keeping everyone at home, its been a wonderful way to keep each other updated on progress and accountable. The ease of use of the various widgets for planning, and for document collaboration is excellent.

Teams is the go-to app for collaboration across teams - it has been the most convenient, thorough and effective way to keep in touch with my project teams, despite being separated across various time zones and continents.

Sometimes the app closes unexpectedly and does not save progress if I'm editing a document - but this is a rare occurrence.

Overall a great software with tons of features and also helps really well to manage your everyday tasks very easily. And really helpful to communicate with the team members to complete the tasks.

We have started using this since the lockdown started and after using this for around a year now we have found the following pros:

Currently this is working fine for us and we have find any cons in using this software.

I rather enjoyed using it. It was easy and intuitive. Instant messaging and virtual meetings have been meshed together pretty well in this package.

Easy and intuitive to use, can do a lot with it, good mobile integration. Gotta be careful, though, as it can become a meme war zone pretty easily.

Without good policies and policing in place, it can become more of a distraction than a useful tool.

The files in team channels works slow at times and downloading multiple files at once often doesn't work.

Microsoft Teams provides a modern and state of the art solutions for corporate users in terms of virtual meetings and presentations. It also helps a lot in conducting webinars with its video conferencing, screen sharing, Q&A and lot of other functions.

The Q&A section updates are delayed sometimes and moderators doesn't receives instant messages.

It's a prominent collaboration platform. We use this platform to communicate with its rich video and meeting supports. It gives us a seamless spot to discuss with co-workers remotely.

Overall the tool has many great features for teams to work together and stay in touch whether through video or chat, as well as file-sharing. Other tools like Zoom and Slack have nicer interfaces and are easier to use, but Teams is beneficial for a company looking to implement an all-in-one solution.

The biggest benefit to Teams is that everything is in one place - chat, video, file-sharing, and more. The video feature has a leg-up to Zoom in that it allows large groups to see more people by rotating who is shown. Many companies also prefer Teams because it is higher security than a platform like Zoom.

Video tool lacks some features that Zoom has, such as polling. The screen share function is less seamless as Zoom. Note that the web version of Teams video is very different interface than the application. The chat function isn't nearly as nice and interface or functionality as Slack, but again, the benefit is that Teams puts everything in one place which can be convenient.

It is a huge upgrade from Skype for Business and is a vital communication and collaboration tool for any team.

No cons, this is my go to app for office communication whether on pc or mobile

I would like to give full rating to Teams as it is just the best product in the IT field right now and is way above its competitors because it offers many functionalities which the other software products fail to provide. Also, the support has been really terrific. I called the Teams support once since Teams was not opening on my system and the Teams support helped me resolve the issue within one hour.

It enables us to form team groups within the platform which ultimately helps in team chats and file sharing within the teams and also lets the file to update in real time by all the team members within the group.

I noticed that whenever I log in daily and directly go to Teams, it takes a quite a bit of time to connect to its server and to come online as compared to other products like Zoom which are really fast . The time taken by Teams to connect to its server for the first time could be improved.

Overall the application is helpful in organising online classes and conferences in a quick way, and the pricing of this application is also very affordable as per the service they provide.

The application hav a quite good and easy user interface, Video quality during calls stays in HD almost all the time.
Security wise the application performs very well, one can have private calls and meetings without any worry.

While sharing the screen the audio and video lags sometimes.
It should support languages like Hindi in the transcript feature.

Access to Microsoft's cloud storage via Teams, Sharepoint and one Drive has changed our teams ability to work remotely . Made the transition to cloud file management and file sharing super easy. We get access to powerful tools through a license we already pay for and use everyday. Way better than buying separate licenses for similar services.

Migration of Legacy files to Teams (and therefore teams, one drive etc.) was more complicated than the interface seems. It skipped many files when we did a large batch transfer. Eventually we discovered the Sharepoint migration tool that handled file migration with out missing files in the transfer.

Overall the application is amazing to use, and from the interface to the widget everything is user-friendly. Along with High Definition video and super clear sound, you get top-notch security. Well-packed application for video meetings.

I have used about 3-4 video conferencing applications. But this one is the best among them.

Overall, MS teams connect with staff with ease. Its link easily shared on outlook and user can share the data and even can share the screen for demo purpose. Collaboration with the staff make easy and chat option with like and other reply with edit option is very good.

For connecting with students, staff and customers virtually, MS teams provide best platform. It can provide meetings id and can be shared with mail or messages. User can experience very good video and audio quality. User can connect with multiple person at a same time.

As of now nothing special problem faced. Slight buffering may expect if the network strength is low.

Microsoft has always come up with powerful tools for different trades of information technology and Teams is also one of them for collaboration and communication among teams. I love using this product. Whether for a short direct message with a co-worker to an all-staff communication, this product is easy to use and is very efficient.

This product is very easy to use and has been enhanced over the last 6 months since I started using it when the pandemic started. At first, I only used it to instant message team members, but that soon turned into phone calls, video calls, etc.

The con would be the changes that seemed to be happening on a frequent basis from the time I started using it just 6 months ago, to today. While the enhancements were good, the layout kept changing, making it hard to get used to a certain layout.

In this current pandemic situation, we are working on projects remotely. But Microsoft Teams change our working process. Now we can easily get connected with our project teams. Using Microsoft Teams it gives us the ability to have meetings, video conferencing and file-sharing method.

Microsoft Teams integrated with Microsoft 365 makes it best in business communication platform. It gives a great quality of video conferencing. Its file-sharing feature makes it perfect for our project team.
