I love that i can easily access my spreadsheets, etc through Smartsheet from any device. It is very customizable and rivals in comparison to many other project management platforms, but also includes so much more creative potential. I have yet to come up with a project workflow, or task that i have not been able to build out in SS.

The Smartsheet platform is incredibly easy to use. The training and onboarding process was simple. Its user interface is minimalistic. Assigning tasks to groups or individuals is incredibly easy. Its to-do tasks reminder works great. Easy to create groups for multiple projects.

Never faced any major issues while using the Smartsheet platform.

Smartsheet is the main reason we have advanced in terms of group task management; we can all work based on detailed information in a specific way and with a simplified list of activities. All objectives can be shared, and working simultaneously with teams from other departments is impressive. It would be much better suited to larger companies with a more extensive staff than a small company.

The interface pleases me a lot has a whole list of tools that provides a unique fluidity to perform specific activities. All the tasks I perform are first entered into this software, and then with much more precision and detail, it adapts to the planning of the projects; it is straightforward.

The learning curve for those new to project management and who have not had previous contact with similar software will be complicated.

Helpful tools once you know how to use them, but for my purposes, a simple to-do list still works best.

Finding files and top-level organization within the platform.

We use Smartsheet as the main way to manage data, set up calculations and organize and manage all our projects using a very familiar and intuitive interface, something similar to Excel that we have been working with for several years. The customization of each table is amazing and we can differentiate in the same worksheet if we manage several projects online.

We have automated most concepts with this tool for the usual tasks that need to be organized, the visualization of projects is very linear and neat thanks to all the tools that Smartsheet has provided us since we are using this software. We also get a lot of options to review the calendar and advanced data visualization.

They should add free synchronizations with Smartsheet, that is the only flaw we see because at least if we want to integrate external software like Zapier we must make a separate payment and that is tedious at times.

I have found Smartsheet to be a reliable and efficient project management software and i like its support for mobile access which allows users full access to their sheets even when on the go. The Gantt charts are very impressive in showing who is working on specific tasks.

Smartsheet is a very simple tool and I can't think of a situation where it's not useful for the team, but is good for the overall business. In addition to sending them information and update requests directly from Smartsheet, this also saves time from an administration perspective and ensures that all necessary information is aggregated into the tool, rather than scattered in emails. Reminders and requests can be sent directly from the tool to team members, which is a great help and one of our company's selling points, especially when choosing Smartsheet. The reminder/request will be sent to the team member's email address with the link to the specific worksheet update required, and once completed, the worksheet owner will be notified that their request has been fulfilled. The following is the basic Microsoft Excel setup. You can also upload Excel files to Smartsheet instead of creating a new sheet from scratch, which is very helpful.

Certain spreadsheet access and management rules may require some adjustments to work correctly. This can be a situation where more information is provided to administrators so they can better and more effectively enforce it. Smartsheet settings are similar to Excel, but when you load an Excel file, content such as conditional formatting is lost. Smartsheet has its own conditional formatting, you must reset the rules. It would be great if the file was automatically applied after loading.

Smartsheet has been useful to us since day 1, we improved in theory the online tracking through our own shared database. It is extremely easy to do some collaboration with any colleague on the same sheet which makes the work and time spent more reasonable. We finally managed to get the time tracking of our employees at their workplace online, as well as that of the project consultants. The dashboard function is impressive and allows us to manage the progress of each project.

We have started with project management and Smartsheet has taken us to another level, it has allowed us to set up Gantt charts in the fastest and most reliable way as this lets us manage projects with scheduling dependencies. It has also allowed us to have more security within our organization, which shows us how to manipulate who edits and who is able to view the spreadsheets.

Need more fluidity in the mobile application. Also need to update the document export format, sometimes it is quite disastrous and crashes the system.

So far usage of the tool during our initial trial and launch has been good and our team responded well. The product works well for what we need, but had we not had a smart sheet super user internally helping us pilot I might not have pushed for adoption. Our experience with the rep was that bad (disorganization, couldn't answer basic questions, talked in circles, insisted on meetings that could have been emails, and more).

As an advantageous point, and what seems to us much more positive than any other system for creating tables, is that in Smartsheet we have our own boxes for marking information, and that it adapts much better on cell phones in terms of visualization and handling. With Smartsheet's table system we can manage vital information for almost any topic, and share lists on a group level without wasting time. Smartsheet is excellent for sorting columns of text.

Smartsheet severely limits the number of entries you can work on unlike services with greater longevity such as Microsoft Excel, which offers a completely unlimited number of columns and boxes. The limit granted by Smartsheet is 1200 boxes per column (from the free version) which leaves it far below Excel.

Smartsheet is an application that we consider quite suitable for managing and administering task assignments and gives us small options in terms of monitoring and evaluation of the assignments made. However, it does not guarantee us a timely audit of the progress of active projects.

This program allows us to organize projects with management tools in different work environments. It provides us with group collaboration facility to determine tasks and progress list, in addition to having options for a real-time progress report on activity on more assigned tasks. It is a very good option for those organizations that need help to establish clear rules and assignments in terms of tasks to be proposed and provided to collaborators. It has productivity charts and time sheets that measure the effectiveness of work in less or more time.

This application does not have a tool for assigning real-time follow-up to tasks that have already started, and it lacks the option to view the progress of active tasks. So, it leads us to active supervision by the company since it does not provide us with this benefit.
