What is DigiCert IoT Device Manager?

Effortlessly manage, control, and protect every connected device from a unified platform, regardless of where they are in their lifecycle. As new connection methods emerge daily, it is projected that by 2025, the number of online devices could reach a staggering 75 billion. The challenge of securing such a diverse range of devices, each with unique manufacturing processes, electronics, software, functionality, and lifecycles, demands a solution that is highly versatile, scalable, and dependable. DigiCert IoT Device Manager is specifically designed to adapt to the rapidly changing IoT landscape, making the management of your devices seamless, irrespective of their design, purpose, or the quantity deployed worldwide. Leveraging cutting-edge PKI technology, the IoT Device Manager caters to the needs of even the most intricate IoT configurations. From the initial silicon injection to the final decommissioning stage, whether managing the manufacturing process, operational deployment, or addressing individual remediation versus the simultaneous issuance of millions of certificates, this tool provides a simple and scalable solution tailored to diverse requirements. This comprehensive strategy not only bolsters security but also simplifies device management across multiple environments and applications, enhancing operational efficiency in the process. By integrating such a robust system, organizations can ensure their devices remain secure throughout their entire lifecycle.

What is BrightCert?

BrightCert aids small and medium-sized enterprises in the UK in achieving Cyber Essentials certification without the need for initial consulting services. Often, many SMEs remain unaware of their certification status until they spend between £2,000 and £5,000 on a gap analysis. BrightCert revolutionizes this by providing a free, user-friendly assessment consisting of 60 questions that address the five official Cyber Essentials control areas, yielding a prioritized gap report within roughly two hours. For a fee of £199, businesses can obtain the full report. Created and overseen by a security specialist holding an MSc in Cyber Security and EC-Council certification, BrightCert is specifically designed for the UK market, using familiar pricing and terminology while setting clear expectations: it supports businesses on their certification path but does not directly issue the certificate, which is awarded by an IASME-accredited Certification Body. Furthermore, BrightCert is being developed for the Google "Build with Gemini" XPRIZE hackathon, utilizing Gemini technology to analyze responses and generate the readiness report, thereby ensuring a thorough and efficient preparation process for SMEs. This forward-thinking strategy not only conserves time and resources but also equips businesses with the tools to effectively manage their cybersecurity readiness, encouraging a proactive approach to safeguarding their operations. By providing such tailored support, BrightCert empowers SMEs to navigate the complexities of cybersecurity with confidence.
