What is IPM Suite?

The deal management system captures the specifics of agreements, sets up approval processes, handles financial transactions, allows for modifications to contracts, and keeps a comprehensive historical record with an audit trail. At the same time, the rights management function enables users to search for and create deals, organizes the hierarchy of intellectual property rights, manages advances and guarantees, monitors payment schedules, establishes royalty rates, and conducts collision checks, rights clearance, and holes analysis. The royalty management segment is tasked with processing sales and usage information, calculating and confirming royalties for both inflow and outflow, permitting deductions or recoupments, addressing any violations, delivering analytical insights, and generating royalty statements. Furthermore, the finance management module includes components for revenue recognition and accruals, oversight of expenses, a robust accounting engine, an accounting sub-ledger, and smooth bi-directional integration with financial systems via ERP. This integrated framework not only enhances operational efficiency but also ensures accuracy across all financial and contractual transactions within the organization, ultimately reinforcing its overall effectiveness. Such a cohesive system promotes better decision-making and strengthens compliance with financial regulations.

What is Franexis?

Franexis operates as a holistic multi-tenant platform specifically designed for franchise systems that emphasize field operations. It empowers franchisors by delivering a consolidated overview of all locations, featuring tools such as network dashboards, essential performance metrics, predictive analytics, and royalty rules that are version-controlled with automatic accruals and statements. Furthermore, it encompasses compliance features like a repository for contracts, specified document requirements, auditing processes, and tracking for corrective actions, in addition to maintaining brand-standard catalogs and pricing information. Franchisees are provided with critical resources to oversee their everyday operations, which include a customer relationship management system for lead intake—incorporating insurance First Notice of Loss (FNOL) capture—capabilities to generate branded PDF quotes, and a dispatch board connected to field service management. They are also able to create work orders that come with labor timers and checklists, manage drying logs, monitor inventory and equipment through barcode scans and custody documentation, and seamlessly take care of invoicing and royalty statements. Field technicians have access to a mobile application that allows them to update job statuses, use timers, and submit photo documentation, all while ensuring functionality even in areas with poor signal. Data belonging to each franchisee is securely compartmentalized at the database level, supported by six predefined user roles and a time-sensitive one-time password multi-factor authentication system to enhance security. This versatile platform not only optimizes operational efficiency but also cultivates a cooperative atmosphere between franchisees and franchisors, ultimately contributing to greater success in franchise management. In essence, Franexis blends technology with operational needs, ensuring that franchise systems can thrive in today’s competitive market.
