What is MergeMe?

MergeMe seamlessly integrates GitHub pull requests and GitLab merge requests into Slack, offering an efficient notification card that continuously updates for each PR/MR. Unlike the official Slack integrations for GitHub or GitLab that create a new message for every event, MergeMe refreshes a single message as its status changes—from opened to under review to approved and finally merged. During the review process, any comments are shown as replies in a thread under the notification card, which helps keep all feedback neatly organized and easily accessible. Additionally, MergeMe supports various code hosting services, such as GitHub, GitLab, and even self-hosted GitLab instances. Users have the ability to connect multiple git sources within a single Slack workspace, allowing them to assign each repository or project to specific Slack channels. It also maps usernames from GitHub and GitLab to Slack users to ensure effective notifications via @mentions for reviewers, while employing label-based routing to sort bugs, features, and documentation efforts into different channels. The setup is designed to be user-friendly and quick, taking approximately five minutes; users simply need to connect their Slack account, link their git provider through OAuth, a GitHub App, or a webhook URL for self-hosted setups, and configure the desired channel mappings. Importantly, MergeMe operates exclusively on webhook payloads, ensuring that it does not access any private source code. For users on the Free Hobby plan, the service offers one channel mapping and accommodates up to five users, making it a fantastic entry point for teams looking to improve their development processes and collaboration. Furthermore, as teams grow and require more mappings and users, they can easily transition to higher-tier plans to unlock additional features and enhancements.

What is CyberPanel?

Easily deploy WordPress websites in the cloud with features like one-click staging, smooth transfers, and automatic updates. Each site built with CyberPanel comes with the LSCache plugin, which is widely regarded as the top caching solution for WordPress. Furthermore, you can integrate GIT repositories from services such as GitHub and GitLab directly into your CyberPanel sites, facilitating immediate code updates through GIT webhooks. In addition to these features, securing your online assets with SSL certificates is crucial, and CyberPanel simplifies the process of acquiring a complimentary Let’s Encrypt SSL for your websites, subdomains, and hostnames. This not only enhances the security of your online presence but also streamlines management, ensuring a more efficient experience overall. With these capabilities, users can enjoy a powerful toolkit for building and maintaining their web projects.
