What is Offloop?

Offloop acts as an AI-driven collaborative workspace designed specifically for small teams handling continuous business activities. This platform enables teams to effectively organize their efforts through Channels that monitor goals, context, documents, roles, approvals, and subsequent actions. Team members can undertake various tasks related to launches, customer interactions, research, feedback, growth strategies, and operational responsibilities, all while leveraging interconnected tools and calendars to enhance their productivity. Additionally, they can produce outputs, track information changes, and relay decisions or exceptions to their colleagues based on predefined protocols. The collaborative environment improves transparency regarding the tasks and outcomes generated by team members, empowering them to evaluate ongoing projects and seamlessly resume their work as new information arises. Offloop provides a user-friendly web interface alongside dedicated applications for macOS and Windows platforms. Its Team Pilot includes features for shared channels and connector setups, while the Enterprise variant boasts extra functionalities that prioritize security, governance, and deployment options, allowing organizations to customize the platform according to their unique requirements. Moreover, this adaptability ensures that teams can evolve their workflows in response to changing business dynamics.

What is Microsoft Autopilot?

Microsoft Autopilot is a long-running AI agent in Microsoft Copilot built to handle persistent, recurring, and proactive work across an organization. The product was previously called Scout and is positioned by Microsoft as a digital teammate that can continue operating without waiting for a prompt at every stage. Users can assign Autopilot a name, role, goal, and operating boundaries, after which it can monitor activity, follow up on threads, run recurring work, and resume projects over extended periods. One example provided by Microsoft is a supplier review process in which Autopilot can create the schedule and workback plan, prepare for meetings, manage follow-ups, and contact stakeholders for updates. Autopilot is cloud-hosted, so its work can continue while users are offline or focused elsewhere. Each Autopilot instance lives within the organization’s tenant and has its own identity, memory, computer, and workspace. It is built on Microsoft IQ, which connects enterprise knowledge, data, and workflows to provide context for the agent’s actions. Autopilot can surface across Microsoft 365 experiences including Teams, Outlook, chats, channels, and documents, where users can interact with it similarly to a colleague. The service is governed through organizational permissions, audit controls, and policy boundaries so companies can define what the agent is allowed to access and execute. Microsoft positions Autopilot alongside Cowork and Code as one of Copilot’s long-running agentic capabilities, with usage-based billing applied to this type of work. As announced on September 25, 2026, Autopilot was expanding to private preview at the end of September.
