What is SecureDesk?

SecureDesk is a self-hosted solution tailored for remote support and device management exclusively for Windows systems, ensuring that all operations are conducted through the user's own infrastructure without depending on external cloud services. It offers two distinct connection modes: attended sessions, which allow for real-time support with the consent of the end user, and unattended access, ideal for managing devices such as servers or kiosks that lack on-site personnel. For instances requiring advanced troubleshooting, technicians can utilize a SYSTEM-level shell to execute administrative commands directly on the device. At the core of its architecture is a strong encryption framework; both the technician’s console and the remote device generate their own AES-256-GCM encryption keys independently, with connections being initiated exclusively from the endpoints involved. The self-hosted relay that enables each session transmits only encrypted data and does not retain any keys, which means even the operator of the relay is unable to decrypt or access the content of the sessions. This innovative design significantly boosts security and delivers reassurance to users who are particularly concerned about data protection during remote support activities. In essence, SecureDesk stands out as a reliable choice for organizations looking to maintain full control over their data while ensuring a secure remote management environment.

What is CT-Assist?

At CT-Assist, we acknowledge our position as a smaller entity within the industry and wholeheartedly accept our relatively humble size when compared to our more prominent rivals. While we may not have the vast array of features, large development teams, or significant financial resources that some competitors enjoy, we take great pride in delivering a high-quality product. Our primary objective is to cultivate a vibrant community of users, as we firmly believe that an increase in the number of individuals and businesses utilizing CT-Assist will allow us to continually improve our offerings. The practical implementation of our service is vital for our development, as it enables us to weave in genuinely valuable features derived from user insights. Our offering, CT-Instant Support, provides a simple and effective way to deliver remote assistance to clients. This tool is packaged as a single downloadable executable file, ensuring that users can easily initiate a remote support session. It can be downloaded directly or conveniently placed on the desktop for quick access with just a double-click. Specifically tailored for POS systems and kiosks that do not have keyboards, CT-Instant Support is designed to enhance the support process in these unique settings. By focusing on ease of use and accessibility, we aim to effectively address the needs of our users and contribute to their success. Additionally, we continuously seek feedback from our community to refine and adapt our services, ensuring that we remain aligned with their evolving requirements.
