What is SiteHelm?

SiteHelm serves as a digital toolkit specifically created for construction professionals and builders, providing them with the ability to precisely measure drawings and organize essential project documentation. The complimentary version, known as SiteHelm Free, empowers users to gauge lengths, areas, and volumes directly from scaled PDF files, develop floor plans by inputting room dimensions with Easy CAD, annotate, sign, and merge PDF drawings, as well as utilize construction calculators. All these features are accessible via a web browser, thus removing the requirement for installation or the provision of credit card details. In contrast, SiteHelm PRO, which is in the process of being developed as a standalone application for Windows, intends to offer enhanced capabilities by including features for takeoffs, pricing, quotes, invoices, job tracking, and various additional tools for managing site offices. Aimed at construction firms and builders, the PRO version seeks to improve the workflow connection between office settings and job sites, enhancing overall project management. Although it is still in development and not available for sale, the expected annual licensing fee will be charged on a per-user basis. This move towards more robust and comprehensive tools is poised to greatly assist construction teams in boosting both their efficiency and accuracy throughout their projects. Additionally, the integration of these advanced features could open new avenues for collaboration and communication within teams, ultimately leading to more successful project outcomes.

What is Nasjicad?

Nasjicad is a versatile application available in both browser-based and desktop formats, tailored for 2D computer-aided design (CAD) and compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, allowing users to generate and alter technical drawings efficiently. Featuring a comprehensive suite of tools such as lines, polylines, arcs, circles, splines, hatches, dimensions, text, layers, snapping functionalities, and blocks, the software also supports editing and plotting capabilities. Users have the option to open and save their work in popular formats like DWG and DXF, and it offers the ability to convert designs into PDF documents and various image formats. Additionally, with optional AI functionalities, the application can intelligently create or adjust editable 2D geometries, trace images and PDF files, generate takeoff tables, maintain office standards, and assemble complete sets of sheets. This makes it an excellent choice for a wide range of drafting applications including floor plans, cross-sections, and intricate mechanical details. While users can access manual drafting tools for free without needing an account, those interested in AI capabilities and more extensive drawing services can opt for monthly subscriptions, credits, or a limited amount of free usage each month. This range of options not only accommodates different user preferences but also significantly enhances the overall design experience, empowering individuals to select the best service level that meets their specific project requirements. Ultimately, Nasjicad combines flexibility and powerful features to cater to both novice and experienced designers alike.
