What is Xshell?

Easily create, modify, and start sessions using the session manager along with inheritable session attributes. A wide array of authentication methods, protocols, and algorithms guarantees preparedness for any situation. Xshell's Local Shell equips users with essential tools directly within the application, enabling the creation of personalized aliases for commonly used commands. Navigate smoothly through a visual representation of the remote directory's files while enjoying both upload and download capabilities. You can customize your interface through drag-and-drop features, making tab management more efficient with the tab manager. Set up quick-access command buttons and sets for frequently used commands, linking them to specific sessions for added convenience. Use the compose pane to write and edit multiple lines of text prior to sending them to one or more sessions at once. Furthermore, you can create and manage SSH tunnels on the fly, even while a session is currently running. Experience customizable terminal designs, mouse behavior preferences, various logging options, and much more. The possibilities for personalization and efficiency are boundless, ensuring each user’s experience is distinct. Enhance your workflow even further by customizing your keyboard's functionality, assigning specific actions to selected key combinations, and maximizing your productivity in the process. This level of customization allows for a truly tailored experience that caters to individual needs and preferences.

What is SecureDesk?

SecureDesk is a self-hosted solution tailored for remote support and device management exclusively for Windows systems, ensuring that all operations are conducted through the user's own infrastructure without depending on external cloud services. It offers two distinct connection modes: attended sessions, which allow for real-time support with the consent of the end user, and unattended access, ideal for managing devices such as servers or kiosks that lack on-site personnel. For instances requiring advanced troubleshooting, technicians can utilize a SYSTEM-level shell to execute administrative commands directly on the device. At the core of its architecture is a strong encryption framework; both the technician’s console and the remote device generate their own AES-256-GCM encryption keys independently, with connections being initiated exclusively from the endpoints involved. The self-hosted relay that enables each session transmits only encrypted data and does not retain any keys, which means even the operator of the relay is unable to decrypt or access the content of the sessions. This innovative design significantly boosts security and delivers reassurance to users who are particularly concerned about data protection during remote support activities. In essence, SecureDesk stands out as a reliable choice for organizations looking to maintain full control over their data while ensuring a secure remote management environment.
