Overall ActCAD is a very affordable and usable software for anyone familiar with other CAD programs.

ActCAD functions like AutoCAD but without the huge price. All of the functionality that I’m familiar with between both programs operates the same.

There really isn’t anything that I don’t like considering the price difference of other CAD programs.

Very good. I am not sure whether point cloud is being supported. I have not tried. it. I do not have much to complain about.

It has all the features of basic DWG cad software. User Interface is good. Good lisp support. Good API support.
Support from the crew behind ACTCAD was good for us and was very responsive. We did not face crashes in 3d Wire frameWork. Lisp and dotnet works well.
We also built 3d models using APIs. Did good.

No network Lic. Lic transfer is a pain. I would like to see network Licensing implemented. CAD world is moving away from Flexnet Licensing. But for users it is important to have Flexnet licensing.

Overall I strongly recommended to use this software.
You don't get perpetual licence in such economical cost it's very nice.
Thanks for giving alternative solution to other software.

Command tool option and so more as
Compared to to other software.
On one platform we get get both 2D and 3D tool.
Price is economical.
Products are nice.

Block editing become stuck sometimes, need to fix this bug.
Customer support required more strongly.

I enjoy using Actcad and it is a really good package that I am able to afford.

Same as old ActCad and so easy for me to use as my use is simply part of my hobby in designing metal work projects.

As I was never a cad draftsman, there is a lot of commands I struggle with and the help is rubbish.

The option in contrast to costly Cad programming with the similarity that you ever dream.Compatibility with dwg design. Comparable orders, no compelling reason to adapt once more. Superb help super quick and exact. An incentive for cash design and orders are like AUTOCAD hence expectation to absorb information is short. It has all the earmarks of being quicker than comparative items.

At this time I have not found anything bad about the product.

Overall a good product with room for improvement. I think the support could be improved. So far, the typical response was to send a video of the problem which I had to figure out how to do. So the support to my problem was to give me another problem to solve on my own.

The transition from AutoCAD to this product is incredibly easy, as the interface, ribbons, and command bar all function similarly to AutoCAD. The majority of commands have an identical function, and for most work this software provides everything needed in a drafting software.

There seems to be an underlying problem with how the User Coordinate System interacts with other commands. Commands, such as rotate, do not function properly if not in the world coordinates. If a drawing has multiple user coordinate systems, then it is a constant hassle to have to translate between those and the world coordinates to get commands to function as expected. There are other more complex commands, such as arraypath, that are unreliable in their functionality. They will work sometimes and then, for a reason I have yet to figure out, cease to do so. The program has other minor glitches such as a graphics glitch if you change tabs while in a viewport, causing the paper space to become invisible, as well as a tendency to freeze when working with Xref files, that need to be addressed. 

Other items noted include:
Selection box glitch - the selection box will not show in the paper space on a particular sheet under certain conditions
Viewport Masking issue - paper space items cannot mask overtop of a viewport with a pdf
Cursor Lineweight - lineweight command appears to sometimes affect cursor and axis lineweight.

It is very user friendly software.
It is highly recommended for the alternative of AutoCAD software.
The speed and performance is also good.

I liked the speed and the performance of the software and with good technical support during working hours.

No dynamic blocks but apart from that it was a wonderful software.

Pretty recommendable for many users, in civil, environmental, and mechanic design. Not really the tool for many choices, but if you have all other softwares, this is a good backup on other devices or for some users in the office.

Features are quite a lot for basic and medium users, Price is super low, family style is ok fur sure, US support is great!

HQ support (web), some clunky design choices, basic BIM.

I give it a big thumbs up. 5 stars. I have to say, i wasn't sure, so i did an evaluation download and quickly realized it was the answer i needed and purchased it.

Looks and feels like everything i am used to using. I wanted a lesser priced alternative to the big name cad program and this fit the bill.

Nothing to dislike so far, it functions as it should in a very familiar layout.

An EXCELLENT program, for its price, quality, ease of use, compatibility with other programs, and it is for life.

It is an inexpensive version to work the DWG files legally. the program works very well, it has all the tools that are required for the job.

I wish I had a quick command guide to learn all the tools more easily.

I would recommend ActCAD to anyone who is familiar with AutoCAD, but who don't want to pay to subscription to AutoCAD.

ActCAD is very similar to AutoCAD.
ActCAD has done everything I've needed to do so far that I was doing without high cost associated with AutoCAD.

None so far. Some of the tools are different from AutoCAD, but nothing I would complain about.

I get new experiences with Actcad. I am a project manager and I do all my projects with ActCAD. I'm just having a little trouble with the plumbing drawings. But I believe that this situation will be resolved in the future. It is an application that we will constantly improve ourselves.

I was using Autocad before. We were tired of dealing with student licenses or crack files. But I found ACTCAD for about 2 years and bought 4 different Lifetime licenses at a very affordable price. All users in our company are satisfied. The friends in the company that provided technical support always took care of us and solved our problems in a short time. I sincerely thank the ACTcad team for putting an economically very convenient program at the service of humanity.

There were minor flaws at first. but with quick updates, corrections were made. We are currently working to meet all our needs without any problems.

Software is good and equally good as AutoCAD- but service and backend support is a concern- pls check and buy and take only if they are ready to help.

Great product, but no backend support to the software. We have taken 3 software- they have single license key. Now when we had some issues with systems and wanted to install the same software in another system . They are asking to upgrade and pay more- why should we pay when we have taken perpetual key - we don’t even want to upgrade the software. They should help us - but no support.

Very flexible, and usable. Great compatibility. Doesn't take up as much computer resources, and is quicker than AutoCAD.

I was first drawn to this program by the price, but stayed because of the usability of the system. I have been an AutoCAD user for 8 years prior to buying this program, and have found it to be even more user friendly and flexible, without losing any features.

I haven't found anything so far that I don't like.

It's like using AutoCAD with a little modification on the layout. I've been using cad softwares for almost 3 decades and this is the best value cad software I know of.

It's like using the ActCAD since there is minimal if not no learning curve since it is almost the same with AutoCAD. Same toolbar functions, same commands and almost the same layout. The only adjustment i've made so far is a little tweak with my autolisp and that's it.

The price, definitely the price. It's very affordable price with the same function and features of AutoCAD.

Overall experience to using this is much better than other software.

I am using this software since my industrial journey started, it's very easy to learn, free tutorials are very helpful for learning and practicals, affordable too. If you think to go for it then don't think much go for it.

Very smooth handling, easy to use, free video tutorial, self help module to get an instant solution, free technical support, tools range is very wide, multiple licenses your get.

I have not seen any.... My user experience is very great.

Great product for the price. I have recommended to many people. I love the ability to import PDF's.

Price. You don't need thousands of dollars to work on CAD drawings. Skills are transferable to AutoCad.

I use a lot of alternative solutions as I am a small company. This is one of the best alternative solution.

It is extremely easy to use. Transition from Autocad user is very easy.
We have had issues some time but got resolved very quickly.

Once in a while there is issue with the Hatching command where the hatching crosses the boundary.
