The ActCAD 2022 standard is freezing, or no response quite frequently.
Can you make a patch to fix this problem?

Good substitution for Autocad 2011 LT, also with limited 3D feature, the license is life long, price is acceptable.

I use Win10, i3 10100 with UHD 630.

Been using intellicad platform for more than a decade. The Actcad team is very responsive to any help.

Software is mostly the same as popular CAD platforms.
Does serve all our 2D drafting purpose as required for our nature of job.
License cost is very reasonable.

Documentation of VBA examples missing need to provide better documentation.
Linking blocks with database is not available.
Need for Actcad Electrical plug-in.

I like those Advance features & commands in this particular software, it's working with high speed and very good performance, using experience is very good, I also mentioned one thing here the most likely thing is license price is it's affordable. If you want to go to ActCAD please don't think more just go for it.

As a small hobbyist that can’t afford the cost of other big name software. This suit my requirement, but there are some parts of software that make me want to through my computer at the wall due to frustration.

Good price tag.
Easy to pick up after using autodesk products as interface is similar.
Runs fine on my laptop.

System processes seem slow. E.g.Large join functions seem to case the system to hang.
The product crashes regularly for no apparent reason. Though the auto back up works really well.
The snap function are hard to see.

Pretty good really for our work, which is a mix of residential, commercial and large industrial, or at least was before COVID.

Similarity to AutoCad, but not the same!!!
It is reasonably easy to set up and use "out of the box"

Mouse doesn't seem to be able to be used to scroll. We don't have large screens so scrolling is probably of the most used commands.

If you have experience with AutoCAD, you will like this software. Learning time is comparable if you are starting from scratch, but if you have experience -- no problem. Good experience over all. No problems with the software itself, other than the license problem.

Overall, this is a great application, and one you will not regret purchasing. Works just like you-know-what CAD package, but at an affordable price. All the commands are there and they work pretty much the same. The menus seem to be laid out well. Some things are not where you expect them to be, so it will take a little time (a few uses?) to get comfortable, as with any software package.

I have not tried all the features available, but they are all there and should work as well as the basic ones.

Support. I had a problem transferring the license to another computer and ActCAD was not able to solve the problem after about 3 emails back and forth.

The interface are user friendly.
Easily to understand the description.
Quick rendering as preview is excellent.

When pointing at the panel or any action at the toolbar, no instruction on how to do it like making solid. Provision of instruction make it easier to operate the command.

I strongly recommend to use this software.

Very useful and very easy to draw the drawings. I use this software for tool manufacturing purpose drawing.

Price is very cheap compared with AutoCAD. 2d drawing is easy to draw.

Overall Excellent product for Students as well as professionals. All features are excellent and can be utilised with minimum hardware. Cost is within budget and great features with this price.

I am using act cad for 3D as well as 2 D drafting for my Plant buildings and Machineries.
-Product was referred to me by our Architect as he was using it.
-Product having a very good features
-Mainly we can activate the setup by ourself and get very good support from Act Cad team.
-Runs smoothly with i5 Processor and 8GB RAM
-No lags or hanging issues
-Gives best features with least cost

- I haven’t face any issues with this product.

I am not that familiar with this as for long I was using Autocad.
Of course, basically, I am a checker hence not that used to cad.
The maximum persons should use this as this is cheaper, quite good & equivalent to Auto-cad.

Every time tips you get while you start are good enough to develop.
All options you get very easily. Basically, this is good software for cad designers.

I am not that conversant to comment for this. I have worked on the Drafting board & worked as checker for the last 40 years.

Bad feeling. It gives a jerk to see that every now and then a new version is launched and you have to buy afresh instead of upgradation.

Easy installation & rightly priced. light software. Good initiative for providing option to AutoCAD.

Design fault. Every time you have to purchase afresh. No upgradation is available for already purchased version.

ActCAD serves as a valuable tool for this sector. Don't get the inconclusive obligations of other party software. ActCAD is part of this critical infrastructure.

I don't like Bully Pulpit. It is just another genre, and isn't actually necessary.

Overall, the software is a pleasure to use and the cost to acquire the license makes the product a great bargain.

The software is easy to use and familiar. The progression from previously used cad software to ActCAD was seamless. The product is more than adequate for my needs and the low price exceptional.

Some of the software processes are a little awkward to use (the "change" command, for example).

It is a very good alternative to more expensive CAD software and it is professional, it has everything I need.

It's easy to use, complete, and with very known commands. If you know other famous CAD you will use this easily.

I would like to have the updates for free or a very low price.

Overall, ActCAD is very well thought out and a cost effective alternative to all the other available CAD programs on the market.

ActCAD functions and commands are very similar to the top CAD program but comes in at a cost far under the competitor. The interface is so similar that operating the program is second nature after spending years working with the competitor’s software. I tried a different popular software and found I just couldn’t get anything done because the commands were changed too much. From the start, ActCAD ran all the commands I was familiar with, and even has some of the shortcut keys that I thought would not be included. I’m very happy with the savings and familiarity of ActCAD.

There are a few items that I wish had better tutorial support. 3D production is one of the items. When learning other 3D software, tutorials were available that build a specific model. The goal was clear, and the commands were gone through in a way that made learning them very easy. The ActCAD tutorials just show commands and what they do without actually building a specific model.

We have been using ActCAD for the longest time and it's very convenient to use. Our team is used to this tool and can execute drawing perfectly or with just minimal error but not impacting the overall project. The only downside that I can see is that you will not be able to open the drawing that you created with the updated version to the old version.

It has the option to print in all sizes of paper. We can customize objects, unlike the other software that has only standard features. It has an impressive display and a range of options for customization.

It can be a bit challenging to use especially for beginners and drawing sometimes lag or crashes especially when you continue using it for a very long period of time without breaks. and there are no 3D models importing.

ActCAD is a user friendly software with life time license and Easy to learn even for beginners also.

Best price with perpetual license without any subscription.
Supports many CAD files.
Support response is also great.

None. I really like ActCAD, it is a good substitute for AutoCAD.
