We have been using AMFG since 2019 and it has proven to be a useful system for monitoring our processes. We tried some other systems before AMFG and this was the only one we tried that fit our AM needs at this stage.

I personally like the layout of the software and that for the most part, the system is user-friendly for most of our employees.

We recently received a server error when we tried to search for the customer project ID on the catalog.

The cost estimation tool is not bad, however, has shown perceived inaccuracies, especially given the complexities of factoring in fluctuating material prices and the substantial time investment required to configure and consistently fine-tune it.

AMFG helps you manage your production processes and, for us, it's been a game-changer. We work with weapon systems so meeting strict quality regulations is a must for us. Their digital inventory also makes it much easier to ensure that the same build parameters are being used for each and every part.

They do not have remote access options. I travel often and this would be great for me to keep track of my production line.

Our most used feature by far in AMFG is the auto-quotation. My team and I can put quotes together without worrying about missing important details, meaning that we don’t miss out on any potential clients.

The main issue that we have had with AMFG is that too many of our staff still struggle to understand and manage the system. It’s not as user friendly as we thought it would be, and it’s taking us a long time to learn how to make the most of its functionalities.

Take a long time to set up. It is not an easy process, however it is very stable when installed. No problems otherwise.

My pro also has its cons. Implementing a system on your premises takes a lot of time. Patience and understanding are needed during this process.

We had a limited budget, which was challenging for us when deciding whether to implement AMFG. But at the end of the day, we’re finding that the investment has been worth it.
