Many simple storage spaces for work and leisure
Date: Jan 27 2021SummaryIf you don't have Dropbox, try to get it today. Free variation is available and you can also update constantly if you think it does not meet all your demands. Dropbox makes it possible to bring different documents that are spread out in a cloud-based storage space. The files can be in different formats. The file can sync perfectly without any problems. In addition, easy file sharing makes it even more attractive to customers.
PositiveDropbox is one of the leaders in cloud storage space. It has the benefit of the first programs, since it started earlier with many others on the market. It allows you to gather all your documents and also synchronize them with each other in the cloud. You can easily access your file through any type of creation, such as a computer or mobile devices.
NegativeDropbox actually has paid and free versions. Only the paid variation gives you access to many important options that are quite useful for personal and professional use. The completely free version is limited to use and storage. This means that free individuals cannot send as many documents as paid customers.

If you are looking for free and easy storage Dropbox is a great option
Date: Mar 20 2021SummaryIn other words, Dropbox is a good service for saving data on the web quickly in case you need to free up space or create some kind of backup. It is excellent for saving several versions of the same file in case they all have a different destination, so using it to work in a team is recommended.
PositiveDropbox can tailor its plans depending on the level of storage the customer needs at any given time, and it is one of the easiest cloud storage services to access, so if you are a first time Dropbox user, it will only require a few steps during registration, and offers a decent amount of GB of storage memory if you opt for the free plan.
NegativeOn the downside, Dropbox does not synchronize properly when multiple devices are connected to the same cloud, so some of those involved in the work tend to take much longer than others to access the material. Its speed of downloading files is slow.

Dropbox - The best thing before Office 365
Date: Mar 28 2021SummaryPrior to office 365 and one drive or google drive-- drop box used to be king of simple cloud storage for users. Recently, with office 365 integration of the office suit with an optional onedrive cloud storage backup for word/excel documents-- it has really diminished my company's use of dropbox. I wish their pricing was a bit more competitive for longterm users-- but sadly they might be getting priced out soon. I dislike the Microsoft document popup they did -- it should be off by default, but I do appreciate a lot of the 3rd party SSO integration (google!). Overall, its a good product for home users but not so much for business in my opinion.
PositiveFast and easy to set up, the program itself is relatively painless to install. It also provides a host of other features and often is integrated into a lot of other 3rd party applications. The pricing for free users is great (free), but the space use to be more generous. It allows for google account SSO so that's pretty nice. Customer service is nice.
NegativeSpace for free users. Also business pricing just hasn't been very competitive to be honest. Now that Microsoft has expanded their office 365 lineup to include free OneDrive storage it has really cut into dropbox usage. The price point above the free tier is a bit higher compared to others, but I do like their customer service. Also, a default bubble popup in word is annoying, it should be off be default.

Not always entirely intuitive
Date: Jun 27 2021SummaryOverall, I think it’s a great software. It just isn’t as intuitive for me, and so I haven’t had the best experiences with it.
PositiveI think Dropbox is an excellent way for people to send large files, videos, documents, etc over the internet. It just has some user interface issues.
NegativeI think it isn’t entirely user friendly. I feel like I have to re-learn how to send documents every time I use it. Some of that is because I don’t use it particularly often, so I’ll forget and then have to figure it out all over again the next time I use it.

Secured, reliable and trusted
Date: Feb 04 2021SummaryDropbox is my favourite place to store all of my important credentials. Sharing file using URL is also possible on this. The overall platform is secured and well organised for cloud storage.
PositiveSecurity is always a matter of concern when we upload important data on the cloud. But not on the Dropbox platform, because it gives me a trusted secured and reliable cloud storage to keep all of my important credentials on its encrypted space. I can also integrate with other tools for direct backup. Its UI is very clean and easy to share files.
NegativeFile lock and secret folder need to be added for business plans.

Don’t Drop It
Date: Feb 28 2021SummaryOverall a great app to Sue if you take pictures and don’t want to lose them, it’s like your own personal cloud.
PositiveA great app to use when saving pictures or videos over the years, especially when it can be lost from phone to phone.
NegativeWhile I’ve saved a ton of pictures, my space filled up quickly and now I get a ton of emails about it being full or upgrading from the free option.

Dropbox increases our level of information transfer
Date: Mar 31 2021SummaryIt is great that by accepting so many different formats we can take care of sending even pdf documents and multimedia content to the cloud without them becoming corrupted and unusable. By connecting Dropbox with other services established by Microsoft, such as Outlook, we discover the positive of interconnecting our software when we need to transfer data from one to another.
PositiveDropbox is powerful software with enough capabilities to let us save in the cloud all the information we require, for a small fee that may vary in relation to the plan we need to opt for. Dropbox upload speed is adequate to send data to the cloud in a short time.
NegativeDropbox integrations are usually very effective, but in the case of Microsoft's office suite is not so comfortable to send presentations to the cloud if they are of high weight, forcing us to share them externally and regularly use a compressor so that the upload does not slow down so much.

Why is it the standard?
Date: May 24 2021SummaryDropbox gets the job done, but several features pertaining to user experience could be finessed for a more please experience.
PositiveDropbox seems to be nearly everyone's go-to cloud-based storage. This means when sharing files, this is a safe bet. Many people are familiar with how to retrieve and store files on this platform, and for the most part it is very user friendly.
NegativeThe platform feels clunky, and I have a lot of examples of this.

When being added to my company's dropbox, my new computer was rendered useless because it automatically tried to add ALL files to my computer's hard drive. It did this to several of my coworkers as well. Once you set up selective sync this isn't an issue, but actually GETTING selective sync set up when your computer is trying to download 1000+GB of info is a very frustrating experience.
When using the dropbox app, every time you try to move files from a shared dropbox to your desktop (or whatever kind of local storage), it defaults to trying to remove the files from the dropbox for EVERYONE. Why is that the default? It prompts you every time that you are about to remove the files for everyone, but it doesn't give the option to adjust this setting. If you were clicking rapidly, it would be easy to miss and accidentally delete files.
When uploading to other platforms, such as a DAM, you cannot upload directly from dropbox. You need to move the files to some kind of local storage, thus I am having to deal with this annoyance quite often.
When viewing files on the dropbox in browser I find the file information inconsistent in how it is presented and downloading files is sometimes a pain.
None of these issues are majorly problematic-- it just really makes the user experience less enjoyable. I've used other cloud-based storage platforms and found them to be a better user experience, for example Box. -

Accessible, Safe, and Effective Storage Program
Date: Feb 18 2021SummaryDropbox has a perfect place for cloud storage, and it increases the access rate of the information in a firm. Again, there is enough templates on how the tool functions.
PositiveDropbox supports universal sharing of files, and this attracts many customers. Also, Dropbox increases the work relationship with various persons in a company. The developer gives a 3 days free version.
NegativeThe design for Dropbox is perfect, and the support team is always in standby, improving the entire operation of a firm.

PositiveI love how easy it is to share and view files using the Dropbox desktop app as well as the mobile app. The mobile app is particularly easy to use and very useful for when I am traveling.
NegativeSometimes I have issues using the mobile app when service is spotty. Otherwise love Dropbox!

Happy Regular User
Date: Jan 05 2021SummaryDropbox is the OG of file sharing services, so people trust it. I've been using it at least once a week for as long as I can remember. I have upgraded twice and practically use it as a backup service at this point. Don't know where I'd be without it.
PositiveI use Dropbox for everything -- sharing files, videos, you name it. People trust Dropbox, so I don't have to coax them to participate.
NegativeNo complaints to speak of. It does take a minute to learn the interface. Kinda wish that were dumbed down a little for people like me.

Secure, Accessible and Confidential Storage Platform
Date: Feb 17 2021SummaryDropbox is a stable, secure, and quickly accessible storage program. There is full customer assistance, and limited access of files, more so to those who lacks authorization.
PositiveDropbox has a secure and intuitive storage platform, which is affordable, accessible, and there is full customer desk help. Again Dropbox has a design that has very beautiful themes, and this attracts more clients.
NegativeDropbox concentrates on storage, which is the major role that the developer intended, and for this purpose, there is maximum help and assistance.

Amazing for In Office or Remote Work!
Date: Apr 23 2021SummaryMy office uses Dropbox for PC for our Personal Injury Law Firm. The best part about it is that I can edit a document, save it, and then let my team-members know it's done, and they can review it without having to attach the document to an email AND without having to save it to their computer, edit, and re upload to Dropbox. It makes it so that we are all accessing the same files even though we are on different computers and saves several steps along the way. Another cool features is the saved Version History Let's say there is a lot of files being uploaded at one time, you can pause the upload so it doesn't slow down your computer, and then resume the upload at a later time. Another super cool features is that DropBox has "version" history of your document. My office uses a lot of templates, and sometimes we accidentally save our changes to the templates, so it's nice that we can revert to the original document.
PositiveDropbox has a variety of plans to fit your server needs. In addition to being able to upload/download files, multiple users can access and edit the file without having to download/upload or email the file. The Version History tool is super helpful for offices like mine using templates.
NegativeI have no cons about Dropbox. There are no features I could even think to suggest.

Enhanced security
Date: Aug 26 2021SummaryOverall, I appreciated that Dropbox gave me peace of mind that our confidential information was safely stored.
PositiveDropbox is well known as a secure solution for files. I'd highly recommend the service for organizations that store confidential information (social security numbers, performance plans, etc).
NegativeDropbox is a bit clunkier to use and collaborate in than Google Suite. It's great for storing static info, but not as good for working with others on documents.

A Necessity in Our Company
Date: Jan 12 2021SummaryOverall, our company's organizational process relies on Dropbox and my team members rely on it to do their jobs well. It's helpful, easy-to-use and easily navigable if you have a good folder structure.
PositiveDropbox is super helpful for storing images, files and documents all in one place. All of your team members can access the collateral they need to work effectively. It is also safe and secure, and has an easy-to-use folder system to help navigate your files with ease.
NegativeWhen using Dropbox, make sure you have a strict folder system that is understandable across your company. It is very easy to get lost in Dropbox if you have unorganized folder structures!
