Surpassed all my expectations. Easy to use, good functionality, and priced right. It took me a week to get used to the interface. I especially like they way Nickel handles NSF payments.

I used a very large bookkeeping software and payment service company for 20 years, and was looking for someone that could provide me better service for a reasonable price. I spoke to several potential replacements, and settled on Nickel payment services due to the payment plan simplicity and the payment interface. The interface is clean, easy to use, and doesn't overcomplicate my life. I am so glad I moved to Nickel, it has made my life more efficient.

The interface is totally different that what I'm used to, but after a week, I find its easier to use and easier to find things when I need them.

Super easy to implement overall. Responsive customer service. We mostly use as a vendor payment portal and it is far more effective than our bank's billpay system.

Integration with Quickbooks Online is very reliable. Super easy to onboard new vendors and make vendor payments.

ACH direct despoit payments take a bit longer than we'd like.

The interface is clean and relatively easy to navigate. I can easily create invoices, track my AP and AR, and manage all five of my businesses in one place without getting confused. Payments process fast and securely. I feel totally safe running large amounts of money through their system.

Nickel makes handling both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) simple. I like that I can send and receive ACH payments completely for free. It also lets me pass credit card processing fees directly to the customer, which saves my business a lot of money.

They do not offer international payment options right now. They also don't allow you to transfer funds between internal Nickel accounts directly.

It's wonderful and easy to use. The Nickel team have always been great at helping me resolve issues on the few that have arrived,

The payments are basically effortless for our residents. I set up a link for them to pay their HOA dues and that's it.

I wish I could set an amount and time that the HOA dues are due and then the resident could pay on their own terms.

Our overall experience with Nickel has been excellent. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and has made managing invoices and collecting payments much more efficient. It has simplified our workflow, improved visibility into outstanding payments, and saved our team valuable time.

So far, I haven't encountered any significant drawbacks. Our experience has been very positive, and the platform has met our needs well.

I have been having some issues with the webhooks but nothing major and they have been very responsive

Nickel has been the easiest platform to use after using platforms like Melio, and Bill.com. We can't afford payments getting delay and creating more accounting work to do that you get with those platforms. Nickel has consistently paid vendors timely and syncs with QBO seamlessly.

Nickel is very straight forward and easy to use. Payments get there fast and on time, and is very easy to pay vendors.

There is nothing I don't like so far. At first there were a couple features lacking but their development team is shipping new features weekly it seems like.

I've used several platforms for business payments and AR/AP, and Nickel has easily been my favorite so far. It's straightforward, fast, reliable, and costs my business next to nothing to use. It does what I need without adding unnecessary complexity, which is exactly what I want from a payment platform.

Nickel makes handling both receivables and payables incredibly easy for my aviation insurance brokerage. Payments are simple to send and collect, funds arrive quickly, and the cost is extremely competitive compared with other platforms I've used. The service has also been very reliable, and on the few occasions I've needed support, I've gotten a helpful response and a quick resolution.

My complaints are pretty minor. The two things I'd most like to see are a direct Xero integration and API access included at a lower subscription tier. Neither is a dealbreaker. I can work around both in my day-to-day operations, but either would make an already excellent product even better.

Honestly, nothing significant comes to mind. The platform has been straightforward and easy to use from day one, and any questions we've had were quickly resolved by their support team.

Ever since Quickbooks started charging for ACH banks transfers, I've been on the lookout for a new platform that does not charge for this. I have a small wedding photography business (Kyle Carnes Photography) and I hate giving away money needlessly to credit card companies.

Then I found Nickel, which not only doesn't charge for ACH bank transfers, but they also allow adding a 3% processing fee to all credit card payments. There is also no subscription fee. This is huge for my business.

I also love that the platform is so intuitive and easy to use. It doesn't have a bunch of feature bloat. Just quick and easy invoicing and payment processing.

You can get to sending out your first invoice within minutes with your business branding and easy payment options.

While ACH payments can take a few days to enter my bank, this is normal for the industry, so it's to be expected and doesn't take any longer than other platforms.

If you're looking for a more feature-rich platform with accounting and all that then Nickel possibly might not be for you. But if you just want to simply send competent invoices and circumvent credit card processing fees then Nickel fits the bill.

Easy to use ACH bank transfer processing. The option to automatically add 3% to all credit card transactions.

There is no mobile application. The website is nearly unusable on mobile, which is a real shame. It needs a mobile app ASAP so users can send invoices on the go.

Nickel is a great payment application. I've been working with it for almost a year now. I have nothing but good things to say about it. It's easy to use, it works well, and it's made my job a lot easier. It lets me do the same tasks as I could with a different service, but way more quickly and easily. I have already recommended Nickel to many of my colleagues, and they're just as happy with it as I am. It's a good choice for any user looking for payment software.

I love Nickel. I had looked at multiple more mainstream competitors, but with the large cost per transaction, none looked totally appealing. Nickel offers 90% of the features with 0% of the high fees. I have since started using them for all of my invoices across multiple companies.

The only thing I currently wish Nickel had would be features for more types of businesses, such as selling tickets for classes or digital goods. There isn't really a clean way to do that right now, but it's something that could easily be added.

Overall, I would highly recommend this payment processor over other processors because it's free, easy to use, secure and integrates with QuickBooks. I hope they ALWAYS have a free plan to service all the small businesses out there!

We love that the most basic features are free and we really don't need to upgrade AT ALL to do what we need to. We love that it's free, it integrates with QuickBooks AND it can replace QuickBooks' payment link with it's only payment link (which helps us reduce the merchant fee down to NOTHING). It's very easy to set up and even easier to use.

As an accounting firm who has set this us (and maintains this) for a lot of our clients, it's a pain in the butt that we can't adjust the permission levels for the team members we add to our firm Nickel account. I don't want some of my employees seeing what bills we are paying and how much they're for (especially if they're to other independent contractors/subcontractors). Our work around is adding critical team members directly into each client's Nickel account however, that takes away one of the free seats AND that means team members have to have a UNIQUE login to each client's Nickel account because Nickel does not allow your email to be associated with several Nickel accounts. Our workaround, that Nickel support helped us with, is to create a unique email login for each client.

Nickel has made payment processing simple and efficient. I highly recommend Nickel for anyone looking for a reliable and easy to use payment solution.

Nickel is an excellent, straight forward payment processing solution. Nickel is easy to use and cost effective.

The slight time delay for payment, however it is understandable.

My experience has been positive - when changing payment processing, one worries, especially with a new company. that there could be issues, but it has been a smooth experience from set up to the first payment processed.

I like that Nickel was easy to set up, has unlimited free ACH transactions in the month and customer service is easy to reach.

I don't really have much dislikes - but if I had to say something, perhaps the lead time for the ACH payments to hit the bank account.

Overall really satisfied. Very simple, but also very effective for the things that I need accomplished.

I did a deep dive of like 10 other digital payment websites and ended up choosing Nickel. The main reason I chose Nickel is because it has a 0% fee for ACH payments, but it also has some other nice features. It has pretty seamless QuickBooks integration, and what I find most useful is the general payment acceptance link they give you. I can literally send this link to anyone and accept payment from them so I don't have to worry about customizing any invoices or sending the wrong link or anything.

No major issues with Nickel so far - support is pretty responsive and have fixed the small issues I have ran into.

Some certain features available in QuickBooks invoicing don’t carry over from the Nickel system. For example, I miss being able to see when an invoice email has been opened and viewed.
