Best solution for IT Admins to be aware of everything that happens with the IT infrastructure from one single point.

I've been a PRTG user for several years and the solution is very easy to use to monitor the overall status of the IT infrastructure. From Server, Network devices to clients and IoT devices.
I've had the need of the assistance only a few times. Support is always available by email and manages the ticket until the resolution by assisting with the troubleshooting step by step.

There are no dedicated sensor for some devices, could be very helpful to monitor dedicated resources with only one click.
Would be helpful the H24 assistance by phone with remote sessions to guide and explain to users how to solve encountered problems.

We have been using PRTG from last 4 years. It is most reliable and best tool for monitoring the large network. Apart from networking devices we are monitoring our Azure cloud servers. No other tools can beat it in accuracy and its extended features irrespective of devices make and models.

PRTG is the most standard and reliable software for network monitoring, it's customer support is very friendly and helpful. Its implementation is easier and can monitor every possible network devices and servers, even the AWS and Azure cloud servers.

We use already more than 10 years and very satisfied. We use many feature as summary of sensor's traffic, bandwidth trigger and etc. Also PRTG integrated with email and Telegram.

Compared to platforms based on Linux OS it is fairly functional and allows you to have a very wide range of systems to monitor without having to invest energy in adding dedicated MIBs.

We decided to use SNMP v3. This is the way to make you problems with Cisco (health) sensors.

I don't like that several sensors of the same network are displayed individually when the network is completely down.
For example, it would be better if a general warning is displayed for the entire network.

Overall it's good to monitor all the device statuses and the error and emergency logs. This will make everything much easier.

PRTG support manual sensor, we can create manual sensor based on our requirements. It also supports Syslog which is the best catch. We can configure the syslog sensor to capture all the error events.

After configuring SNMP v3 there is not much sensor that is automatically added.

Overall the user experience in recent years is very good, PRTG has proven to be a platform used by many companies with different technologies in the field.

Simple installation on Windows system, quickly add through autodiscovery different sensors, many notification triggers that can be use for receive alarms and also a ticket management section.

When the number of sensors increase the performance on windows can be compromise, would be better a Linux OS or SaaS solution that could be scaled for enterprise.
