Excellent granularity and customization. Can monitor pretty much anything on the network, very helpful to keep track of ssl cert and ssl cert health. Also excellent community with plenty of custom script options- even our old VNX health!

Some non-intuitive setup imho. Pricing per monitor can get to be tough to manage. Had a brief issue with emails not working, but turn-out I guess I upgraded too quickly before the bugs were fixed, another release just a few days after resolved the issue.

Easy to use and incredibly powerful monitoring tool. I’ve been using it to monitor and extensive UK wide network for the last 8+ years.
Their new invitations keep the software relevant and always pushing forward.
Support for the couple of times that i’ve had to use it have been quick to respond, with the softwares ability to attach diagnostics directly from the admin panel it reduces the need for lengthy interactions collecting data, getting us to a resolution much quicker.

The fact that it is currently only available to host on windows is a bit a draw back. Say this however the currently development into a linux based system is showing promise.

I've been a PRTG user for several years and the solution is very easy to use to monitor the overall status of the IT infrastructure. From Server, Network devices to clients and IoT devices.
I've had the need of the assistance only a few times. Support is always available by email and manages the ticket until the resolution by assisting with the troubleshooting step by step.

There are no dedicated sensor for some devices, could be very helpful to monitor dedicated resources with only one click.
Would be helpful the H24 assistance by phone with remote sessions to guide and explain to users how to solve encountered problems.

We have been using PRTG from last 4 years. It is most reliable and best tool for monitoring the large network. Apart from networking devices we are monitoring our Azure cloud servers. No other tools can beat it in accuracy and its extended features irrespective of devices make and models.

We use already more than 10 years and very satisfied. We use many feature as summary of sensor's traffic, bandwidth trigger and etc. Also PRTG integrated with email and Telegram.

Compared to platforms based on Linux OS it is fairly functional and allows you to have a very wide range of systems to monitor without having to invest energy in adding dedicated MIBs.
