Only thing that can improve is to have flexibility of not being charged per month as an owner of the company.

Overall, since I began using this service I have saved so much time with paper work. It now takes me a fraction of the effort.

SAGE HR gives us the option to allow our employees to keep up to date with all of their addresses, tax information, PTO. Amazing, and powerful resource for us.

This is my first time using a payroll software and I'm impressed with all the information and reports available. It makes my life so much easier in that I don't have to hunt down deductions on the CRA and Rev Qc websites.

Major plus: includes Quebec Payroll, which was surprisingly difficult to find. I like that you can go back and correct a payroll run.

There is a learning curve, even with all the help files, especially since I have never used a payroll software before. For now, I put Ease as just ok because I am not yet comfortable with all the functions.

I have to get over the fear of losing all my information since all of this is on the cloud.

Fair but there are certain areas can be improved such as downloading reports in Excel and linkage to CRA.

Time off module helps track staff offs way easier than Excel sheet when there are less than certain number of staff for the company, easy to follow screens.

Price for timesheet is more than what we would pay for other software.

Overall good product so far except for billable time. Payroll function easy to use. I do recommend this product.

Sage HR does the job well. Great technical support and lots of training videos. The process of sending the journals into your accounting system is easy and seamless.

Can’t figure out how to use timesheets yet. I need to bill clients but difficult to set up or can we???? I shall research.

Sage HR has been a great benefit for our organization. It is extremely user-friendly and easy to learn.

There are only 3 trainings from sage HR. I feel like it doesn't even touch on all it can do and rely a lot on yourself for learning the system. There are not a whole lot of resources for training on the web either. I think additional training/videos going in more detail would be helpful.

It has been easy to setup and use, i am excited to use some of the learning tools to better utilize all the features.

Beginner friendly, easy to navigate the site, easy to fix mistakes and LOVE the free learning tools to help setup different aspects.

Wish i could take an entire course on sage accounting, fee isn't a one fee for everything , you do have to pay for extras like payroll.

Sage HR's biggest selling point lies in its customizable features (opt-in or out). If you're looking to move away from spreadsheets and handle all people operations in one place, SageHR is the right tool.

The timesheets features is on the more complex side to set up, especially in an international environment. Definitely needed the help of the team here.

Overall, it is a good program, and once you are used to it, you will love it. You can have your payroll done in no time.

If you make a mistake you can go back and fix it no problem. Very easy to setup your information and do your payroll with ease.

I had to figure out how to use the program first before I could add in the information.

It is a learning curve and I’m sure I will learn it the more I use it. The looks are attractive and I enjoy the colour palette.

I really enjoy the app on my phone and the updates that get sent to me. I like the break down of my paycheque so I know where my money is going.

That I wasn’t able to assess all the information as it said I had access but the setting were hard to follow.

It is great.
This allows me to actually track our business and is a far cry from our antiquated system we used.

It is easy to use.
Now I can track all transactions.
We have been using a paper/pencil method and now we can do it all using sage.
verification of checks and balances are at our fingertips, no waiting for bank statements and tracking accounts is so much faster.
This makes us more efficient and accuracy is key to our reports to shareholders.

So far I have not found any. I have only been using it less than a week.

Loved working with the implementation team. Set-up was easy and straightforward. The price point was excellent.

Sage HR was user friendly with a lot of useful features. It solved a lot of our problems. The customer service was excellent.

Inability to accrue sick hours as we needed. Inconsistent settings with hours and days. We were trying to set-up policies based on hours but the system sometimes allowed it and other times required to be set by days.

It is very complicated to use and I did not like it, and what was more frustrating is the lack of telephone support.

It looked impressive at first glance but after we started to enter data we run through many difficulties that turned to be a nightmare at the end.

The whole program is extremely complicated and not friendly user which caused us an extreme stress to prepare the payroll.

Overall I think I will be happy with the program once little details are figures out. I think the payroll is the biggest issue so far as it is very limited to edit pay group, email addressed etc. For each employee. Hoping this will be improved. Very glad Sage is offering a cloud based option now though!

I like that the HR, payroll and accounting are individually accessible so I can grant access to managers without giving too much detail. Very good customer support so far. My overview via my satisfaction appointment was excellent and respectful of time. Very impressed with how quickly my migration from Sage50+ was completed, and the detailed report from it was great.

There isn't direct deposit yet but I am told they are getting this up soon. Also, I find the payroll module lagging at times. When I go into each individual employee to edit pay details, it takes a long time to load each one. Not a huge issue now with only 6 but when I add our other 70+ managers this will be a big time consumer. Also, wish I could delete employees entirely in payroll as I had to make duplicates in order to change email addresses once they were set up. This is annoying as you have to run a payroll for $0 with the wrong email address account in order to inactivate them. Also, reports for payroll remittance aren't as clear as Sage 50+ was. Having trouble sending some of the payroll runs to the accounting platform

Overall this product is does everything I need it to do. The set up is simple to use and is easy to integrate with the old.

Overall I enjoy using Sage HR and like the features that are included with it. I would recommend the program to others.

Love Sage HR! It is easy to use. Keeping track of hours, holidays and pay is simple. Also, if a mistake is made you can quickly change it and edit. I also like that you can include Comments with your weekly or daily time sheets.

The only thing I have not figured out how to do is change my password. I think it would be helpful for there to be an option to do so.
