I’ve gained hours back using this product! The team behind it are always available to help, the backend UI is a cinch, the front end interface is easy for our clients. It tracks everything, adds emails to Mailchimp for me automatically, and does a hundred other things I haven’t even gotten to yet. Bookings made simple!

Not much at all! There were a few small hiccups along the way that were easily hammered out with tech support.

Overall, I've been with Sawyer since 2018, the help I get to run my program is amazing, I use it daily!

I am able to run reports really quickly, get a list of kids for a specific activities, ask specific questions in their form fields system, lots of great tools for my afterschool program. My rep is always there when I need him. Hey Dyland!

Discounts aren't automatic when it multiple service class, that takes a long time to refund families individually.

Overall we have enjoyed our experience with Sawyer and have found customer support to be helpful and the updates we've encountered over the past 2-3 years have enhanced user experience.

-we would LOVE to have an option for an end registration date!!! We offer so many workshops and camps it's hard for us to go in and cut off the registrations manually. The only option being to keep the registration open until the end of the class is unusable and irrelevant. Please, please, please update with an option to put an automatic cutoff date for registering as part of the set up process for a class or camp!!! We also use Activity Hero and are able to specify a precise registration start and end date/time with them. It seems like such and easy fix that would alleviate a lot of frustration.

-Add ons: please fix the add-on feature so that it doesn't AUTOMATICALLY apply to every single person selected. If that could be a manual selection that would help us with how we structure our workshop participants and materials.

Very happy with the product and customer service. Registration systems can be very complicated and particularly difficult to use in mobile format, Sawyer however is great!

Ideal registration system for a youth sports organization. The portal is incredibly user friendly on both PC and mobile. Refunding and editing registrations is very simple to do which is important for our organization.

Would like to be able to send messages to multiple classes/groups simultaneously rather than only be able to message one group at a time. Would also love to have a ‘text communication’ option.

Sawyer provides an interactive platform for my business clients that is safe, easy to use, and continuously improving. My favorite features are that I can edit and design my whole schedule, I can easily change individual classes, I do not manage any credit cards or payments personally.

I tried the new email feature and did not figure out how to reference emails. So I copy and and paste the clients emails and send from my business account instead.

Very good product that has helped us survive Covid. I had registrations up and running within minutes of agreements for sites.

Before we used Sawyer we spent about 4 man-hours per camp or class coding our website to take and record payments, not to mention the time and headaches of communicating cancellations, refunds, or changes. Now if we spend 10 minutes setting up a class, I know I am slacking.

Moving from menu to menu could be a bit easier. Sometimes jumping between Calendar and Schedule is tedious.

Sawyer has been vital to helping me keep up with each of my classes per day, and since they change each day (optional trial classes as well as different time options for students) I always start out my days by checking Sawyer Tools!

There are many features I appreciate from Sawyer: Color coded classes, clearly posted time-zone sensitive times to help coordinate exactly when a class is, which is super helpful for those in other areas of the country (me).

There aren't many cons I can think of, maybe a dark-mode option?

I would say the positive outweighs the negative on this software. It's the most unique software for this particular niche. I can see, with further improvements, it being one of the top resources for clients seeking unique experiences and for individuals starting their own business using skills they have to teach to others.

Sawyer is a very unique platform for users and clients alike. It opens so many doors for the DIY-ers to be able to teach their skills to others and teachers with wide ranges of expertise in various areas to be able to teach outside of a typical public school classroom. The back office has been something to learn but I'll have to say that the support has been very good at responding to questions and trying to resolve issues. I would definitly recommend it!

I have had issues with various things over the two year period I've worked with Sawyer from setting coupons to transfering students from class to class. Some things were able to be resolved and some weren't due to the software design. Recently I've been working with clients doing monthly memberships for multiple choices of classes within one program. It would simply things if when they purchase the membership, that the classes could be viewed and they can choose without having to click "keep shopping." Also recently, I've had issues with being able to download and view the Order Report which I use often.

Sawyer has made it so easy to keep up with customer information, registration, and helped us keep tabs on our financial goals. We are very pleased and can't imagine running our studio without it!

It has really streamlined our class registration! They make it so easy to post new classes to our schedule and keep up with registration, attendance, and customer info. It really has made a positive change in the way we run our business!

Sawyer has everything you need all in one place! Unlike other services that are simply platforms to advertise to only their client base, Sawyer advertises my classes while also giving my small business a space to easily track client info and finances, allow for easy sign-ups, organize my Calendar, create promotions, and more. Plus their support team is always very responsive to my many questions and quick to reply.

The system for taking commission can sometimes be funky. People who have been with me for years will often say they tried signing up through my website and yet it still shows up as a marketplace order.

I consider myself a good educator, and that is why my business of Art and Music classes is growing! I do not consider myself “tech-savvy” and do not have a team of IT staff…it’s just me. Sawyer has allowed me to have a professional online presence. Sawyer has also acted as my IT team, even when my questions and needs were immediate and desperate! I will be loyal to Sawyer.

I started using Sawyer about five years ago. The program allows you to work into the features slowly: I used the most basic features, and now I can set up camps, events, semesters, widgets, financial reports, contact lists, etc.
I learned how to do these things by simply asking through the help center. Then a real person emails me and walks me through my specific question.

There have been very few limitations, and most of the problems have been my not taking the time to learn the system. I find that Sawyer sets up systems a certain way, and once I get used to it, it provides a consistent way for me to work and for my customers to access info and register.

We love Sawyer! Our school uses it to organize our summer school program. The teachers love that they can directly message families. We also received a lot of great feedback from our families - they love the color coded calendar of events that they registered for.

Sawyer is intuitive and user-friendly for our school staff as well as our families. I also really loved their onboarding process and the level of support they provide.

At first, the system was a little tricky to get the hang of. But, they’ve pushed out some updates that have really helped with that.

I stumbled upon Sawyer late on night, stressed and frustrated, trying to get registration online, for my new summer day camps for kids. After fussing with the options provided by my website builder program, Sawyer was balm to my weary mind and soul. I started a free trial and had the entire menu of options created and ready to publish in 90 minutes. All that remained was a phone call with a very friendly Sawyer representative and a few signatures. My Sawyer page was linked to my website that next day and the stress abated. Thank you for creating a system for child-focused businesses like mine!

Intuitive to use with easy programming. Option to personalize with various photos and text. Easy to use for both vendor and patron.

The monthly fee is too high for me to justify using, now that my enrichment center is set up with a tuition management company. It would also be nice to have ACH as an option. Passing on credit card fees to the purchaser would be appreciated.

Overall, Sayer has been a game changer to our organization and I wish we had started with them sooner!

We love that all the information we need for students is all in one place and easily accessible for all our instructors.

When setting up a new class, there's some repetitive steps needed.

I'll admit that my experience in the kids activities game is limited, so maybe I have unreasonable expectations. Or maybe I just haven't figured out how to use all of Sawyer's features.

Sawyer's customer service has been amazing. They follow up on requests quickly, and with personalized attention.

However, I've had problems with being able to customize Sawyer for my business. For example, I'd like to change the headings of Drop Ins, Semester, Appointments so they are more clear to my customers, but haven't been able to do this. I also requested a new activity category (subject of activity like academic, art, music, etc.) My business teaches life skills, but that isn't on the list. I was told this couldn't be changed. I also couldn't change the color scheme of the Sawyer listings to fit my brand (for example, the color of the registration buttons).

I'm thinking of finding a different platform to use for my class listings, scheduling, and payment.

The design of the software is beautiful, intuitive, and easy to use. Links are automatically generated for the classes, lessons, and workshops we create so it's easy to share with families for quick enrollment! And clients include family profiles so the learner's names, ages, and other notes are all included.

The various options for scheduling, specifically the "Semesters" format, are a game-changer for offering classes and workshops.

The setup for in-person vs. online is brilliant and easy to use and you can customize the policies for cancellations, covid, etc.

It's currently not an available feature to book recurring individual lessons through the system, but a good workaround is creating individual semesters for 1:1 sessions.

Great product, great support! Switching products is hard and time consuming. It was a big decision to switch but we are pleased we did.

Sawyer is easy to use and meets our needs for scheduling events. We've used several other products what really differentiates Sawyer is the support. When we have questions Sawyer staff answer them. At the start of the pandemic we needed to cancel and refund customers for in person events. The refund functionality was not what it needed to be to respond to this situation. The Sawyer team stepped up and quickly got changes made.

The one feature that seems to be missing is the ability to take a past event and edit it to reuse it.
