PositiveI love the functions, the syncing to the parent engagement app, and the customer service is Chik-fil-A adjacent!
NegativeOn the parent side, if a parent has students at more than one campus (like we have) under the same parent company I think the sign in pins should be the same for the person regardless of which campus they are at.

Thoughts on Procare Solutions
Date: Jul 09 2025SummaryWe have used Procare Desktop for over 15 years, and it has served us well. We are poised to move to the cloud version this month and are looking forward to it. Procare Solutions has provided the management features we need to run a successful child care business.
PositiveProcare Solutions has been easy to learn, easy to use. I've been especially please with the integration of billing with payments through Tuition Express. There are many training videos available. For the few instances something has gone awry, support has been able to get us back on track.
NegativeWe are switching to the cloud version soon, so I am hoping the overall appearances improves. Though our need to call support has been fairly minimal, the wait time on hold could be better.

Highly recommend Procare

PositiveWe use Procare on the daily. It is user friendly for both staff and parents. We love how the cost is compared to what we were using. They offer a lot of parent connection activities such as note, pictures, video, ouch report, meal, diapering, mood, and more. These are all such great features that we love the options. We notice Procare does to updates. We love seeing the new features they offer.
NegativeWhen changing tuition, which we do annually, it is extra steps and more than work than we would like to. There are occasionally bugs, which makes it harder to sign-in/out and message families.

PositiveBeing able to get most of my business functions taken care of in one spot. This program has supported us in learning how to manage everything and the care team is very supportive. We recently reached out about trainings and they were very supportive and helpful!
NegativeWe would like to see better organization from Procare. We can't upload our incident/accident reports, because they would get scrambled with the important documents that we load. then it would become a hassle to find anything. We would also love to have categories for our communications, because not all communications are flagged important and some are mainly for curriculum with teachers. So being able to separate would be helpful.

I *never* feel like a bother when I am asking for support and I feel like concerns and additions are valued by the company.
PositiveEasy to use, customer support is great, parents are happy with updates! Overall, Procare is a great system. The Billing is integrated so easily with other programs and there are few outages.
NegativeIt’s hard to get new programs going. Desktop and online versions don’t always talk to each other and things need to be updated on both sometimes.

NegativeAs admins, we can't edit messages once they're sent. If a correction is needed, we have to delete the message and ask the teacher to resend it, which can be inconvenient. Adding an edit feature for admins or teachers would make the system even better!
