Procare Reviews

Our experience is that we use Procare every day for managing and running our school. It is integral to our everyday procedures in many different aspects.

We use Procare for many different features that are integral to our day-to-day operation. We use it for attendance tracking, billing, payroll, and parent communication.

The cons are that there are more features that we have not explored yet. We are looking forward to eventually learning about the features that we are underutilizing.

We love Procare and will continue to use it even with slick sales calls from other vendors! It does everything we need and is easy to use.

The app and website are both intuitive and easy to navigate, even for our more technology challenged parents. We can easily send pictures, videos, and messages as well as keep up with attendance records.

There seem to be frequent bugs that hinder the use of the email feature when we need to add pictures. It requires using a different browser or clearing the cache and restarting the program. In the busyness of a preschool day, no one has time for that.

It's a great program for organizing student data. I also wish there was a way to customize a registration for that families could enter their information directly into Procare as they register for various programs.

Being able to house all student data in one space is helpful. Messaging systems are also beneficial for program/home communication.

Student data is not easily searched when they are classified as inactive. We have students who enter and exit various programs across the Museum. Because some inactive students are sometimes missed, we end up with duplicates. We are not able to delete or merge the duplicate entries.

Procare provides a way for parents and staff to keep children accounted for and safe with little manpower.

Parents can sign their children in and out without getting out of their cars and with little to no help from staff members.

Sign-outs on phones can take time to sync with our tablets.

Overall Procare is a very reliable platform. I would like to see some updates and shorter wait times when asking for assistance.

Notifications, messaging, pictures, ability to text. You also can send alerts to family. Billing is good.

Customer service. I am noticing newer products have advanced features that I would like to see implemented on Procare. One example is a daily bus roster.

Overall, it is one of the best things we have done for our school to better manage accounts and attendance.

communication with parents and ease of collecting tuition from parents. letting teacher and parents communicate with each other without exchange of personal phone numbers.

Using the reports, I would like it to be tailored to meet the needs of the school . we also have difficulties with the Geo force for parents on some phones.

Good customer service, most applications are relevant to the day to day administration for a preschool. Great all-in-one platform!

I love that we can use this as an all-in-platform for childcare management. I use Procare for waitlist management, enrollment, tuition, daily reports, and more!

There are a few features I would still love to see. For example, as the director, I'd like the option to communicate confidentially with families without involving other staff members.

I’m thankful for the efficiency of the entire Procare system. It allows us to focus on the important part of the childcare - the children.

Simplified tracking attendance and payments. Procare is a lifesaver! We always know how many children are in attendance in each classroom. We can simply click and get parents contact information and payment history. Parents sign in their children and make payments.

We are completely satisfied with the Procare system.

Enjoy using Procare. Getting parents set up and teaching parents and staff to use is easy to very straight forward.

Multiple platforms for families to use and then they have to get out of one into another.

This software system is the best "bang for your buck" we love it and have no intention of trying anything else!

I wish that there was a feature to allow staff members to see their own clocked hours per week without allowing them to see that of other staff members' hours.

Overall we are very pleased with our Procare experience! It is helpful with daily class management as well as payroll!

We love that we are able to transition children to different activities so easily through Procare as well as be able to tell the count for each class at a moment's glance!

We wish that Procare had a feature for parents to sign paperwork electronically! Also, we wish there was a way to alphabetize our classroom names and the names of our children!

Overall it's very user friendly, has everything I need in one. I would definitely recommend for other childcares.

Very easy to use, easy access to profiles, daily activities as well as parent communication, staff time clock and accounting, etc.

I think my only real issue is that is does not back date if I need to post a Payment or expense, it will categorize under current date and not date it was received.

I do not like having to change my password so many times.

Overall, we will absolutely continue to suggest Procare to everyone that we come across that is looking for recommendations. Our parents live the communication procare provides and so do we!

We have used Procare for several years now and have grown exponentially since our first use with it. We now have 3 centers and procare has made it very easy to integrate each new center & make them all manageable. We love the features of the app.

I wish the app was a little easier to navigate as far as switching between centers (it's just tedious) but overall nothing to dislike

We implemented this during Covid and it was critical and its now the core of our program in terms of communicating with our families.

Procare keeps our school organized, teachers informed and myself the director in the loop on many issues!
Its also a quick at a glance attendance tool and an easy way to send families quick reminders at a moment's notice.

Would like students to be able to be part of different classrooms and not just moved or transferred. Some of our students do half days, some full and some do extra programming. I would like to have communities for all of those but it seems we can only keep a student in one spot.

Our experience is fairly satisfactory. Sometimes parent have some trouble logging in with their pin. But it is mostly resolved in a timely fashion,

I find invoicing extremely easy. I like the way I can categorized the item or program that my parents are paying for.

I do not like not being able to speak to a representative on the phone.

Overall, this app is easy to use, and very accessible for all parties. We love the ability to communicate quickly to parents.

We love that this app has it all, from billing features, to lesson planning, to daily updates for all of the children. It allows open and easy communication between teachers and parents and the photo feature is one of parents' favorite.

There seems to be a lot of maintenance going on, causing Procare to be down pretty frequently.

This is a very good product that is reliable and easy to use. Communication options with parents could be improved. Wish we could send PDF to parents.

I enjoy the ease of implementation. Customer service is outstanding. Parents love the parent app.

I wish I had greater flexibility with credit card payments.
