Highly recommend this for any company encouraging remote work and looking to improve communication. A game-changer for us

Intuitive design; the ability to be in multiple Slack teams at once; lots of integrations improves collaboration especially in remote-only/ COVID times, especially with Google Drive and Zoom

Search functionality is not great, which is the only downside to using this instead of email for all intra-company communication

Overall, it gives the ability on our screen to centralize all of the business communication on one page. The plugin support (Zoom, Zendesk, and others) makes lots of things easier for us.

We are using Slack for both aspects of communication (inbound and outbound communication). It's an ideal tool for business communication. It makes every conversation professional and streamlined at one page. The plugin support of external tools is fantastic. The interface is clean and visually attractive.

The special command feature (hashtag) can't give the search result what I want.

At this point in time, we wouldn't look at changing the app to any of its competitors. But with time, who knows. The main reason for keeping it is the integration module with JIRA and Dropbox. If you have a big enough organization and can pay for it this is probably the best collaboration app out there.

Ability to add extensions like JIRA, Dropbox.
Ability to create different rooms for different teams for more streamlined communication.
Conference call is another nifty feature that our team uses extensively.

It's expensive than Discord which kind of does everything that Slack does.
The free version has a lot of limitations like the deletion of history. So, if there is a message sent a long time ago, it's gone. FOREVER.

Slack is a great tool for my work team. It makes it easy to communicate and collaborate on projects while working remotely.

Great features and very easy to use. Love that I can easily communicate with my coworkers while working from home. The screen sharing feature is particularly useful, as are the cross-platform apps.

I don't really have anything bad to say about it.

What i like most about slack is that it normally makes communication to be more professional and organized compared to other messaging platforms.

It's an amazing product for team communication. It solves communication gap between the team and enhances the team coordinations.

Slack is very easy to use and any one can use it without any special training. The best part is that it allows to create multiple teams and you can also communicate with one-time account setup.

I have found only single issue regarding the desktop notification. Some people in our company have reported of a blank screen on startup, but that was due to graphics driver and it is a quick fix. Overall it's a very amazing product for team communication.

Slack works great for our company and we rely on it heavily. Highly recommend Slack as an alternative, or a complement to email.
