Safe software to keep important files and documents in. You can share folders with clients and save time rather than doing the same thing on each end. There are many features to it.

It is great for important document storage. Easy to function, manage documents and share with clients as well.

So far so good, there are no cons from my personal experience.

Our firm has used SmartVault for a few years and are very satisfied with the product and additional value given to our clients.

Very easy for our clients to use, offers them a one stop shop to view current and prior year tax returns and documents.

I haven't encountered any issues using SmartVault so far.

Overall, my team and I have had a great experience with SmartVault. It's easy to remove old employees and onboard new employees. Easy to teach clients how to utilize it. And has been GREAT during COVID-19 while we were socially distanced and navigating tax season.

It's an easy product to learn. And even easier to walk a client through how to set up their access. All I have to do is send and email, then the client takes a few steps to set up their log in information, and with a few clicks they are ready to send and receive sensitive information through a secure portal!

Nothing that I dislike enough to mention. Sometimes the search bar takes a few seconds to catch up, but that could also be my computer with several other large programs running.

SmartVault has been a game-changer for our firm. This software has saved our firm more time to get work done and less time sharing documents with our clients.

My firm loves how easy and secure it is to send and receive information with our clients. This has saved our firm in an age of working remotely.

Could use a more modern look and have an easier way to search for files in the database.

Overall a great document management system and a great way to share documents with clients via a secured website!

File structure set up and adding new folders is easy and logical.

Web access to those outside of the organization is a great benefit.

When copying and pasting documents in the same folder, sometimes the system lags.

I have had the best service from start to finish and there was never a hiccup when I switched from my previous employer to my current employer.

I love the fact that my clients can view their financials securely without me having to send them by email where there could be a security breach.

There is nothing bad to say about this product or the customer service.

Yes very good, we like it. It is a useful tool we should have used a long time ago. Time saver in sharing files with clients.

Everything in one place. Comprehensive. The training videos are very good and accessible. We can check the progress of our staff with their training.

Overcrowded on the desktop version, too simplified on the online version.

Overall, I think it's a great investment, especially for firms who already using TaxCalc. File sharing and client communication in one platform.

Not every client was happy to change to the new system.

Overall we are happy with the software as it has helped a small business like ours to begin the transition to the cloud with ease. Aside from the cost, which we don't have much to compare to other than our own budget, the software has been running well and we would not go back to the old ways.

Very much like the integration with our tax products. We use Intuit products and it has integrated well by have cross program transfer of data and automatic categorization and naming of documents that are placed in the cloud. The ability to make engagements and engagement folders and tie them to all or some of the clients is very efficient. Access to data via cloud is very helpful.

The set up can be a bit cumbersome but considering our data load it was expected. Also, generating custom folders and coding that properly was also somewhat difficult, but tech support helped.

Overall I highly recommend this product! We use it for our bookkeeping, payroll, investment, and tax clients.

I love that you can share things in a secure and truly easy manner. We use this with clients across many aspects of our business. We can not email sensitive documents so it is perfect for us!

I do not like the fact that I could not drop a document into all clients at one time.

We are glad we moved from our old document management software to SmartVault, it is secure and saves times. Also sending emails and links to clients to get into the client portals also has been easy. Our clients have told us they love the client portal because it seems so secure and it's easy for them to use.

The speed for viewing, editing, sending, and receiving documents through this cloud-based software is more than we expected.

Do not like the editing document feature at all, in fact we chose to use Acrobat Document Cloud software instead of using the SmartVault editing document. SmartVault's editing feature is clunky - you have to zoom to each page and the notes are not easy to use.

This product is great. It has helped cut down on our paper and the ease of use is great. Going to be a big hit especially when we are working towards a more virtual system.

Smartvault has allowed my office to move from the traditional filing cabinets to an online storage, which saves me space, time & less paper.

I still trying to get use to the new website version.

Overall, its easy to use and navigate through! Again like I mentioned its interface is both easy to use by older and younger staff and we love that we can change the dashboard to a different view!

SV is super user friendly, we have a lot of diversity at our office from older to younger employees and its interface makes it easier on all of us to be on the same page.

The feature that allowed us to see which client had SV access is gone and I couldn't seem to figure out why! now we have no idea which of our current clients have access to their files.

It was easy to implement , they walked me through it and it worked great.
I know others who use it and overall everyone really likes it
I could not have gone Paperless without it.

Makes it really easy to share files when everyone is working remotely.
I can see exactly what my staff is working off of.

Still learning how to use without ProSeries. I need to watch more of the Videos so I know how to send Clients files they can download in to.
