PositiveI like the fact that there are so many options for clients to incorporate different aspects of Human Capital Management into their payroll. Clients can use as much or as little for their company's needs.
NegativeI am not impressed with the way updates/upgrades in isolved are made. There are many issues that could be fixed before they release the updates to the users. More testing needs to be done before releases become live.

Good HCM Platform
Date: Jun 21 2024SummaryOverall, it's a good system. It's fairly easy to use once you have a basic understanding of how to navigate through all of the different features. The response time for customer inquiries is pretty quick, and the CSR's truly are some of the best.
PositiveI enjoy the ease of having everything in one centralized place, from payroll to performance management, timekeeping to reports, it's essentially a "one stop shop" for everything I need to perform the daily functions of my job.
NegativeSome of the features aren't as user-friendly as others. The price point is a bit steep as well in comparison to other platforms I've looked into.

Positiveisolved is very user friendly! They are constantly working to bring in new features and updates for features that are already in use. We have been able to go completely paperless using isolved. We have cut our payroll processing time in half. HR onboarding is now effortless because of isolved. The cost is less than most other big HR/Payroll companies.
NegativeI really don't have any cons other than they don't process Canadian payrolls.

PositiveWe like that for the most part it is user friendly and allows the client to be independent. The overall solution to common questions can be answered with the features.
NegativeI am the tax manager for our company. I feel that the Isolved tax service needs to be updated and more features need to be made available to ASO users. They are promoting an Isolved Tax Service that Isolved handles but that will not work for our company. The tax service while it is user friendly in some cases there are other features that can be better. For example: POA packages should be able to show more than one contact. Service bureau reports are lacking, and we are waiting for the system report builder to be up and running.

Perfect for a Small City
Date: Jun 18 2024SummaryWe have been using iSolved for over 7 years. In that time both the usability, functionality, and accessibility to the system has only gotten better. At least a few times each year we uncover new functions or ways to use the software to satisfy needs we didn't know it had the capacity to meet.
Customer support is great, very responsive, and knowledgable. The only downside we have experienced is that the features in the legacy core HRIS are no longer updated or improved much as iSolved adds other new paid modules to meet some of the basic needs. That said we still are not fully leveraging all the tools that are in the system yet.
I would recommend iSolved to any small to mid-market organizations in the private or public sectors.PositiveiSolved checks all the boxes for a small organization looking for an affordable an accessible HRIS. The user interface is is easy to understand and work with. Behind the interface is a suite of robust functions that meet most of the needs of organizations looking for a mid-market level of system.
Some of the best functions include the highly customizable payroll processing features, powerful reporting features, and integrated digital personnel file functions.NegativeiSolved provides a complete set of functions at its basic HRIS legacy level. PositiveThis system is user friendly for all types of users, Admin, Client, Manager/Supervisor, and Employee. I have had clients onboard with us and never need training because they are able to navigate quickly and the University has been a life saver.
NegativeThe only issue I have is the response time when submitting a ticket.

They have a lot of good information as well as training classes within their university to help their customers grow and flourish in their field.
PositiveI have been using Isolved for about 3 years now. Isolved is extremely user friendly. The software is constantly being updated to make it easier for those using it, and I appreciate that they care for the companies that are using their software. Two pros would definitely have to be Time management and Employee experience. Both have improved greatly using Isloved.
NegativeOne con that I would have to say about using Isolved is the response time when it comes to Customer Service. Sometimes I am able to get a quick response and other times it takes awhile for me to get a response which can put a halt in dome of our day to day tasks.

PositiveThe customer support is excellent. You can get an answer quickly when needed. Also, iSolved handles tax data very well. We have not had any issues with our tax filings. And if you receive a notice they research and let you know if it is or is not related to payroll. Then you know how to handle the communications. Now on the phone line they have an option for tax help and they are very good! Thanks for always adding more to help us.
NegativeCurrently, iSolved can't process foreign payrolls, but they can help with bringing their data into the HR side. I'm hoping soon we can have the international payrolls as an option.

PositiveI like the reports offered by isolved. They have a variety of supporting reports that especially help when we are going through an audit, which occurs 3 times a year and include 401k, quality, worker's comp.
NegativeI have a difficult time finding someone to help me with specific issues and to get them to resolve them accurately and quickly.

I also think isolved nickels and dimes us, such as charging a $5.00 fee when a direct deposit is incorrect.
I think it's ridiculous that when we don't have any changes during our benefits enrollment that we are charged a hefty amount. We don't need any changes whatsoever yet are charged a large fee.Official isolved Response -
