PositiveEase of use is the main thing I like about this platform. Customer service is always very friendly and are as helpful as they can be.
NegativeFinding the report I want. The report titles sometimes don't make sense. For instance, I asked for a report to track Tardies, the report I was given is titled "Default Schedule Variance Export". Seems like too complicated of a title than what is needed.

Regardless of the areas for improvement, one can tell that isolved takes the general needs of their end users into account.
PositiveFrom the end-user perspective: Easy to use & intuitive; able to manage simple to some complex payroll needs; offers ATS, LMS, GL, and a slew of other integration options; clean mobile ESS UI; constant releases to stay up to date on, or ahead of, industry standards.
From the setup/admin user perspective: Individual client conversions are rather easy; recently updated reference materials and courses in isolved's knowledge base are helpful; contacts we partner with at isolved are helpful and friendly.NegativeWould love to see...better reporting options at both the individual client/end-user and system admin levels (report building that can merge multiple tables, or create percentage-based outputs using overall totals in report not just individual line detail), competitive upgrades to older modules, as well as core HCM dashboards that can be customized by employer, or even groups of end-users.

Intuitive HR/Payroll Software

Many payroll errors have been eliminated due to employee engagement, their ability to view their own timesheets has made payroll a breeze. I only wish report writing could be simplified.

Easy, valuable, and great customer service
Date: Aug 18 2023SummaryOverall, we love the system. We use it for hiring, onboarding, self-service, quarterly and year-end administration, and HR needs. The price is comparable. There are lots of features you can add in and different price levels.
The billing is easy.PositiveWe have been with isolved for over 6 years. The switch from inhouse to outsourced payroll was easy. The program is great. Lots of customizable features, tons of general reports and easy to create new ones, and great features for my employees.
We love the onboarding and self-service access.NegativeI wish some features like the I9 had filling functions for the government agency.

Best Payroll Software I've Used

PositiveIn 20+ years working in payroll and using several platforms, this is by far the best one. It is one system and one database, so everything from onboarding to timekeeping to processing payrolls runs very smoothly.
NegativeSometimes support is a bit slow. Especially if you need to request a custom report. However, the report writer is pretty strong, so that's not something we need often and the support is still better than I've experience with other payroll/HR platforms.

PositiveWith isolved being a true single database, employee information is more accurate and takes less time to enter in as there is one record. The system also provides the full hire to retire and continues to evolve with the changing market.
NegativeI think the time & attendance portion of the system could be built out further to accommodate more shift differential complications, but for basic shift differentials and regular timekeeping, it works great!

I like iSolved

I thought a big company like ADP would be what we needed and would have a super program, but they had horrible customer service when I needed it most. I like that I can email or call one person, or a team, and get my answers within a day.
The payroll process is rather simple, and it's great that the time cards link right in. There is no confusion or too many steps.PositiveGood customer service, quick to respond.

PositiveThe pink color with the new branding is nice and it is slightly more streamlined and modernized which is nice.
NegativeThe UI. The massive updates with NO heads up or "hey we're making changes and things are going to look like THIS from now on".
