    Overall a positive experience with my almost 5-year use of the isolved system both as an employee, and working at the service bureau level as well.

    Positive

    The iSolved platform presents a very simple yet effective means for employers and employees to manage their payroll data, track and record for timekeeping purposes, in addition to a whole scope of other benefits such as time off, performance reviews and expense management. All of which are very commonly used in today's business world.

    Negative

    If accruals could update in live time as the balance is used and the absence occurs, that would be phenomenal for end user understanding. While the payroll industry runs off the check date, using an accrual balance at the end of one year and paid in the beginning of the next, often leads to confusion and frustration among many of my clients.

    Overall, I am pleased with isolved. It is a great product and offers many features which make payroll life easier.

    Positive

    i like the inclusiveness of HR and payroll products. There are many products that can be added so that the client can get all of their HR and payroll tasks done in one place.

    Negative

    The biggest issue I have is that new releases are not tested enough before being released. Many times the product does not work correctly or it breaks existing items. Also, log in issues are a daily occurrence with my clients and their employees.

    Isolved is a very powerful HCM, and in the 4 years of our firm using it I have seen it grow and take user feedback to heart. After having used several other payroll solutions I think we've found the perfect one to grow our business.

    Positive

    The platform is extremely feature rich - There are solutions for reviews, applicant tracking, and for payroll the in depth earnings/deductions/memo setup means you can make it work for just about any type of business. I love the configuration piece of the back end.

    Negative

    Although there are several solution, there is still a slight disconnect between different platforms. Jumping to ATS from the core HCM is still very much like going to a different product. They are making strides in the SSO solutions though.

    Isolved's Payroll Software is Unmatched

    There is no other payroll software I feel confident recommending in the payroll industry. Isolved truly is the best of the best when it comes to payroll and time software services!

    Positive

    It's user friendly, robust in automations and streamlining data, and the Add-Ons are impressive. Isolved works hard to make their product scalable and easy to use for a 2 employee company all the way up to an Enterprise Client with extensive staffing. They've worked hard to ensure their products all interface with one another and, in most cases, involve a SSO.

    Negative

    The Support from Tickets can be inconsistent. Some tickets can be responded to quickly with an educated contact while others can take months for a response and once that response is received, is not always the highest talent in Isolved to be interfacing around the issue at hand.

    Overall this has been a great tool in improving our employee experience. This has been a go to platform for all things HR, from them applying, onboarding, clocking in on a daily basis, and benefit enrollments. They truly made it easy to have one platform manage all of those tasks.

    Their customer service is top notch. They are quick to respond whenever we need help. They've also been great at scheduling monthly meetings to assist with making our current processes more efficient.

    There are some features in Isolved that we've had free to us to use, but they weren't turned on for us to access. We'd love to take advantage of all of those features so that we are getting the most out of the platform.

    It is fine for the time being. When we were brought onboard, it was contracted through a local business. Since then, they have been bought out, and the customer service has declined. I would like to see the interface drastically improved.

    The pricing model is good. They are very fairly priced for what they can offer to their client base.

    Negative

    The interface is completely behind the times. You have big players in this industry who blow iSolved away with how much more intuitive they are. The iSolved interface, scheduling, importing, timecard portions are so outdated compared to other companies. They are behind the times, and it would help if they actually fixed and improved some things. The customer support is subpar. It is rare to ever get ahold of your account manager. The customer service teams around the manager are incompetent. Our garnishments are consistently put into our system wrong. Causing issues with numerous payrolls.
