What is SYNCDATE?

SYNCDATE keeps several calendars honest about when one person is busy. It is for anyone who holds a calendar at more than one organisation: a consultant with a calendar at every client, a fractional executive, an agency owner, or someone with a day job and a business on the side. Connect each account over OAuth: Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft 365, iCloud, Fastmail, Nextcloud or any CalDAV server. Choose which calendars feed which, one way or both ways. From then on, a meeting booked at one company blocks the time at the others. Subscribed iCal feeds can be used as a read-only source. A copy says what you decide. By default a copy shows Busy and nothing else, except in a two-way sync between calendars you own, which keeps the real titles. You can write your own text for the title, description and location on every plan. The Plus plan adds if/otherwise rules that look at an event's length, start time, weekday or a guest's email domain. The Pro plan lets each calendar in one sync follow its own rule. Google and Outlook changes usually reach the other calendar in under a minute. CalDAV calendars are checked about every 15 minutes. Every run shows on the dashboard. Delete a sync and it can remove every copy it made. Hosted in the EU, with a data processing agreement on every plan. The free plan holds two calendars across two accounts with no card and no time limit. Plus and Pro add accounts, calendars, range and rules, with a 7-day trial. Team gives every seat the Pro plan on one invoice; the administrator sees plan status and sync health, never anyone's events. Hosted in the EU. The same account can be used from an AI assistant over MCP.

What is Forgot.dev?

Forgot is a digital calendar solution specifically designed for engineering managers and team leaders, enabling them to efficiently oversee planned absences, on-call shifts, project deadlines, public holidays, and product release schedules. The platform empowers managers to incorporate team members and events, tailor visual displays by team, office, time zone, or specific criteria, mark tentative dates, and emphasize when team members are unavailable during crucial phases like releases or code freezes. Teams can effortlessly communicate their availability through a shared link without the need to register for accounts, while read-only calendars are available for sharing or embedding to enhance accessibility, along with weekly email summaries and weekday Slack notifications to keep everyone informed. Users can also subscribe to calendar feeds that work seamlessly with Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar, ensuring smooth integration into their existing workflows. Furthermore, an optional Mac menu-bar application offers real-time updates on team members’ availability and simplifies calendar adjustments. By centering its features on coordination rather than human resources-related leave management, Forgot intentionally avoids tracking PTO balances or accruals, making it an effective tool for team collaboration and scheduling. This unique approach allows teams to focus on their projects, ensuring that scheduling does not become a source of confusion or inefficiency. Ultimately, Forgot streamlines the process of managing team availability, fostering a more productive and organized work environment.
