It as a great Fundraising platform. Great support easy for users to use.

Entering new gifts / donors are streamlined. Reconciling gifts are simple using batches. I use the receipting feature of donor perfect. Makes creating thank you’s to donors easy. Their tech support helps when you are unsure of any feature. I work at a small 3 person shop at a religious organization.

The transition from our current was not as simple as stated. Most of the problems could have be caused by my past workers entering of data.

I recommend it for small and medium size nonprofits because it is affordable and easy to learn.

I like that the options for gift entry are very comprehensive in terms of types of gifts: in-kind gifts, matching gifts, soft credits, split gifts, etc. The main profiles also have lots of detailed modules that can store a variety of important information. I also like the pre-made reports in DP because there are useful reports that I would never think to make myself, or think I need. The chat and phone support people are great as well.

There are some features I'd like to see implemented, such as the ability to open up two profile screens at the same time for comparison (useful for determining duplicates). It would also be nice to edit the pre-made DP reports instead of having to rebuild it from scratch myself if I want to change the format. Some processes can also be streamlined to reduce the time and effort necessary for multiple clicks. For example, the ability to merge duplicate general ledger or solicitation codes, or the ability to receive email notifications for all donations that come in online.

We've been using Donor Perfect for several years and are so pleased with the addition of useful tools and reports over time. As we ask for new things and our users experiences change, Donor Perfect continues to keep up with the times and give us a product we can use to connect with donors anytime, anywhere!

Only that there are so many options it's impossible to know what you don't know. But training events really help!

How many ways can we say happy??? I have found it easy to use and train others to use. I love the reports.

I have used DonorPerfect at two organizations and have been very happy! Having a 14 year old database program at my previous organization, my job was to research and find a new program for us. I looked at everything and decided on DonorPerfect. It wasn't the Cadillac (we couldn't afford) or the Yugo (we needed more power), but it was "just right"! When I moved to my new position in a new organization, there was no database - everything had been tallied on separate spreadsheets. The decision was easy and we purchased DonorPerfect. We haven't looked back!

Our experience with Donor Perfect has been great. I compared a number of options before choosing DP and had worked with Raiser's Edge for years and really like how the system works in general and how we have been able to customize to make it work for us

The Donor Perfect fields easy to customize so we are able to capture the information we need. The support line is fabulous! They have walked me through changes and additions many times.

I wish the system worked with Mailchimp. We have had to add Constant Contact in order to track our email communication.

Overall, this is a great system if you want a robust CRM with fundraising capabilities. It has a lot of the same functionality you'd see in larger systems like Razor's Edge, but for a significantly more affordable price point. As someone who helped implement the system, uses it daily as an administrator and user, this is a great system. We have previously used Sage Fundraising 50 and Abila Elevate, so this is a huge step up for us.

Donor Perfect has a lot of pros! Cloud based platform to be able to access anywhere, ability to run off of mobile for events and in person meetings, integration with add on features like ReadySetAuction and Constant Contact, the ability to easily set up your own giving pages for various events, scholarships, or specific giving appeals. Reporting features can give you pretty much anything you want if you know how to ask for it. Another great feature is data import.... if you have monthly payroll donors that may change one or two a month but need to regularly import large amounts of data, DPO has this available. It's useful for events too.

The system can be overwhelming for new users, especially if you don't have the paid support feature. There are a lot of add on features, but they all come with a price. It can be pretty expensive for a small non profit that only has a handful of employees or one or two people that are using the system. Reporting can be complicated and difficult even for experienced users. Events management is extremely difficult and complicated, and lacking in a lot of featueres. We do not suggest using it for events management.

I am happy with the DonorPerfect System. It is easy to create new donors and update donations. I do not utilize other parts of the system because we use various other platforms. Thank you DonorPerfect for creating such a great system that works great for our nonprofit organization!

I like how easy it is to create new donors and add donations to the system.

The only issue I have with the system is that is difficult to understand the report part of the system.

I implemented DP for our non-profit in 2018. I manually combined data from multiple systems and databases and imported the data to do the initial set up. The tools provided and support to do your own implementation are awesome. We immediately implemented a peer to peer page. The additional functionality added this year to be able to post checks received offline to PTP page is a great enhancement.

Simplicity to maintain and correct data. Ability to customize and create your own donation pages including crowd funding pages. Very economical for small non-profit. Get lots of functionality and bang for the bucks. Online knowledge base and documentation is superior to most software products I have used in the corporate world. Tech support is also very good.

It definitely helps to keep up our care of donors, giving, doing reports, etc.

Batch entry 2.0 , online giving and auto giving make donation entry easy.

Reporting is great and easy to customize.

Year end giving is missing a function to save all YE giving emails in a PDF.

I haven't been using donorperfect for very long, but it seems to be very easy to pick up. I am not the primary user for our organization, but the platform has not been difficult to learn.

I have brought the product to different organizations that I have worked at and it has served all of them well!

The product is user friendly along with the customer service support. I have used it for approximately 10 years and love the way it grows along with the needs of the users. They ask for and listen to user feedback to improve the product.

When system changes are made to something that I have been doing a certain way for many years, it takes me a bit of time to make the change. There are however, always trainings and customer support to help make the transition easier.

Support is awesome! They always have the answer to our questions/problem. DP is easy to use and allows us to customize it to fit our needs. Interface with Donor Search is very helpful.
We use community help all the time.

It took a while to get used to the reporting, but is good once you are used to it.

Overall I feel its a great tool for non-profits. It allows you to track and organize funding sources by projects and by types. By types meaning from business, churches, clubs or individuals. As well as credit card, cash or check.

I find that donor perfect makes it easy to track and sort different types of donations received. When asked for the amount of funding received in a specific area it is easy to prepare a report and provide to the Board. The merge segment of the program makes if easy to get thank you letters out to our donors to say thank you. At the end of the calendar year the steps to provide an end of the year report are easy to follow and provides the data needed for the Board and our funding resource reports.

It took a while for me to catch onto how donor perfect operates. I think I need a class. I have been able, with the help of the former Director, figure out most things.

Such a robust donor management software. Five years in and I'm still discovering new ways to use this system and the data it provides to raise more money. Pretty intuitive, but anytime I stumble on a roadblock, DP customer service/techs are always there to help.

It can be frustrating when a user-created filter doesn't do what you want it to do. But DP techs (chat is great too) can usually help me figure it out.

I would recommend this database to everyone! I have no complaints.

It grows with you. My organization had a small donor base and we did not want to spend a lot of money on a lot of bells and whistles we were not prepared to use. As our database has grown we have changed our DP plan. It was an affordable way to manage our donor information and allows us to advance the complexity of information to be gathered without breaking the bank.

The report writer can be overwhelming but the training modules really help.

Overall, I highly recommend DonorPerfect to anyone looking for a versatile, well-supported donor database.

DonorPerfect Online is an intuitive to learn how to navigate. I appreciate the degree to which we can customize fields, screens, and reports and being able to access real-time data on the health of our donor base, using key metrics. I used to have to rely on our direct mail vendor to do that kind of detailed analysis, and now I can access that info anytime to share with our board. I also really like the SmartActions, which have allowed me to automate a lot of tasks I used to have to remember to perform regularly (changing mail flags, creating contacts, etc.). Customer support has been superior.

It is pricier than our old system, but the cost is well worth it considering what we are able to do.

I'm newer to this software, but it is pretty intuitive.

The best part about this software is its custom reporting capability. Also great customer service.

Donor profiles can get a little complicated, especially when taking spouse, title, office and forms of address into consideration. We have had to get creative in how we structure the profiles, as there are not spaces for all of this information, to make sure we can pull the appropriate information for our needs.

I use this product on a daily basis and I am very happy.

Overall a really intuitive software that will track all of your gifts and wrap all your data up in a pretty report. This is a good choice for small or large nonprofits.

The amount of information you can pull for reports is incredible. Anything you enter into DP can be pulled in some report. There is a DonorPerfect Community where you can go to ask other users questions and get helpful tips and tricks for running reports, using DP Mobile, and much more. If you can’t find what you need within the Community pages, then you can always call DP customer support to speak to trained tech support. Customer support answers quickly and will email you a summary of your call when you are finished. You can keep the instructions to refer back to in the future. A newer feature is Chat Support that is also helpful for quick questions.

When a tribute/memorial gift is made online and the donor lists the recipient's name differently than how it appears in DP, DonorPerfect will create a whole new tribute instead of allowing the user to select the already existing tribute. When this occurs, you end up with multiple tributes for the same person, the only difference is maybe one shows the middle name and the other does not. Also, there are a bunch of reports that can be ran, but it isn't always easy to know which report you should use. You may need to create a calculated field and it's not always clear when that is needed or how to do it.
