Overall, there are not a lot of programs out there that does what we need done, as far a keeping track of donors and donations, so Donor Perfect has served a useful purpose.

I like that it is relatively easy to enter donors & gifts, because I do this on a daily basis.

Donor gifts that are made electronically are not always recorded corrected, so must be checked to insure accuracy. Program is a bit costly for a small organization with a very small operating budget. Building reports is often complicated and clunky.

We are a non-profit dog rescue group. We were first attracted to Donor Perfect, because we wanted an easier way to acknowledge our donors. We were having to manually write letters to acknowledge well over 1,000 donations annually. But, Donor Perfect gave us so much more than that. Now, we can easily see how much money we have raised through our fundraisers, adoption fees, and merchandise sales. It helps us see where to put our efforts and resources and discontinue those that are not worth it. It helps us identify our biggest donors. I could go on and on about how much it has helped us. We now use the interfaces for Constant Contact to make our email marketing more effective and Quickbooks to make our bookkeeping easier. And, all of these benefits are achieved at a very reasonable price, which is very important to a non-profit charity. Can't say enough good things about Donor Perfect!

I often tell my staff, if you can think of it, it probably can be done. The DonorPerfect staff emphasizes writing out in plain English what you are trying to accomplish. Being able to articulate the desire suggests that the logic is there, and DonorPerfect can likely do it for you quickly. I can't say enough about the wonderful staff that supports the product.

Versatile and powerful. It is a near-perfect blend of standardized features and room for customization. What really shines is customer support. The DonorPerfect team truly becomes part of your organization's team.

It is expensive - I don't like that, but compared to others it is admittedly a great deal. For our smaller affiliates, I wish they can come up with a "bargain basement" entry -evel pricing - but there is no denying, for the cost it does many great things. Plus, it is so versatile that it takes a while to learn everything. That is why customer support is so valuable.

Love the dashboard and the ability to modify the dashboard with information that matters most to us.
Overtime, DonorPerfect adds services or partners with others to ensure that their product offers all that is needed for managing donations, maintaining strong donor relationships, and accounting for revenue.

We've been sorting out a few hiccups in implementing DonorPerfect forms for donations and information but the team has been very supportive in helping us through it all.

I like the system and think it has great potential for our organization. I've learned to work around a number of the glitches I've discovered along the way.

I like the way you can integrate a lot of information through this system. It's quite sophisticated.

You are constantly advised that you need to contact Donor Perfect to upgrade your system in order to do the things you need to do with this system. The handwritten materials and some of the videos do not provide all the information that you receive from the live webinars. Many of the knowledge base articles appear to be written by techies and it might be better to have a professional technical writer review and update the materials so they are more user friendly.

I used Raiser'sEdge for over 5 years at my last job - I hope to never have to use it again. Using DP compared to RE is like night and day. DP is so much more intuitive and user friendly.

I would recommend DonorPerfect Online to any small nonprofit who wants to get up and running quickly with a donor database that's easy to use and customize without the need for advanced technical skills.

DonorPerfect Online is extremely easy to use out of the box and to apply extensive customizations without a lot of database or programming knowledge. Very user friendly and easy to implement. Their commitment to their customers and customer service is excellent and their annual user conference is a great opportunity for professional development and networking.

Some of the more advanced features like enhanced dashboards and reporting tools come with additional costs. If your database exceeds 5,000 constituent/donor records, they charge a premium for each additional 2,000 records. If you represent a large or medium sized nonprofit organization, or if you're a power user who needs advanced reporting capabilities, DonorPerfect Online may not be the right solution for you.

I think this platform will forever suit our organizations' needs as long as it continues to adapt to its customer base. I'd give it ten stars if I could!

DonorPerfect is a great platform for fundraising. As long as you are inputting good data, you will get the results you need. I love that they are constantly working to improve it for their customer's needs as well.

I wish that you didn't have to pay extra for all of the features.

Functional and so far we have not found anything else that works as well.

DonorPerfect Fundraising Software has everything we need and more! It carried us through the library's capital campaign for a new building. All the donor history is included, by category, so there are many options for data mining. Customer service is helpful and informative.

Reporting function could be more intuitive, although customer support always comes through.

Overall I love the system and the functionality!! Best donor management system I have used!

Donor Perfect is so great for tracking donors and helps so much with fundraising. I love that they actually listen to our suggestions too, they made a huge change to the way donor information is viewed thanks to mine and other users suggestions!

Would love for the reporting to be easier, seems like sometimes it is hard to get the filters just right. It is also an old excel version when downloaded.

The is the first database our organization has ever used to store donor data and it has been a great resource for us. We are now able to more clearly see how donors have been interacting with us over the years and it allows for better planning in the future of how we connect with them.

This is also the first time I have gone through the entire process of setting up a database from researching to implementation and use. From the get-go, DonorPerfect was an excellent experience with only a few minor hiccups that their team was incredibly responsive to and helpful with.

We love the opportunities with DP. We are getting better at understanding the software capabilities and utilizing the data day by day. I hope to have our data clean and properly coded by January 2020. We began this process in January 2018.

The opportunities for granular data collection and reporting are endless. That is fabulous. Entering donors is simple. The DP staff is great.

The platform is so broad that it is intimidating. While the staff provides excellent support, the availability of that support is limited. Many small to mid-sized orgs cannot afford the support packages that they need to learn and maintain the software in the first few years of use. Had we not invested in the CNC the last 2 years, I don't think we would have been able to onboard DP the way we have. When sales staff discusses the capabilities of DP, they don't tell you those features are priced separately. Some of the features should have been included in the basic platform. They made it sound like they were. That still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Integrity is important to me. I felt lied to.

It has been more than four years since we started using DonorPerfect. The Services we get has been outstanding and very responsive by the very professional employees of DonorPerfect. The System is so flexible that we can now identify our donors' desires and wants and be able to tailor different messages to different groups of donors.

Limited flexibility choices in designing Donation Forms

Once you know how to use DP it's great, but it takes way too much time/effort to learn how to use DP: make DP more intuitive

DP has an amazing user support department. DP team is very responsive to issues and the platform offers solid training resources

In general, the site is not very intuitive. I'm probably one of the youngest demos of people using DP (I'm 23), and I regularly struggle to navigate the site. I'm lucky in that, when I started using DP, my boss had been using it for several years and could provide in-person support; without him, I think I would have struggled a lot to understand the platform. I get that there are trainings and such, but ideally users wouldn't need to sit through 10+ hours of training to use the platform easily/effectively.

From sales to support to everyday use, DP's database software has been the right tool for us as our org has grown over the years.

The platform is flexible (without demanding that you build your database tools from scratch), responsive (reports run quickly), and reliable (excellent up-time). The filter/query tools are robust, reports are comprehensive and easy to build, and import/export tools blow away the competition.

I have yet to use a donor database with a reliable and easy-to-use auto-dedupe feature, and DP's is not quite there either.
