Donor Perfect can do anything you can imagine, and if you don't know how, their technical support staff is excellent, and their webinars are great.
I work at a small nonprofit and I do everything with DP, from guest lists to financial reports, from Thank you letters to a Donor Recognition report for the newsletter. I have yet to need something this software can't do.

Tons of versatility. Can pull any kind of information you can think to ask for. There are templates for a million different kinds of reports.
Can be used by my small office, or a huge organization.

Tough learning curve. It took awhile to get comfortable with the software.

I'm happy with DonorPerfect - it's a great service for the price.

I like the integration with Constant Contact, the ability to create customized reports, and the ease of searching for specific donors or types of donors. The customer service is excellent.

Setting up reports can be complicated depending on what you are trying to learn. There is limited ability to design the donation pages to your own specifications.

Overall I love the concept and the capabilities of the software. However, for the average "Joe" with a short attention span, it's a lot to remember and digest, especially when managing hundreds to thousands of donors.

Not many cons to speak of about this product. If we had to choose one it would be a stronger volunteer management competent since we are a nonprofit that relies heavily on volunteers.

With the extra training at their headquarters, user conference and phone and email support, I have become a super user of this database. Its one of the best I have used and I have used several databases throughout the years.

I am a 6 year user of Donor Perfect and the product with it's customer support service is outstanding.

Donor Perfect offers the very best in customer support. Online Chat or telephone support - each covers all possible queries and scenarios. Knowledgeable techs walk you step by step. Free Webinars provide detailed explanation of the elements of creating the right report. The DP Dashboard shows donor/donation analysis, giving the user a capsule of detailed info on one page!

Any new change to the page can be annoying at first; however, the changes are user-friendly and support is always there.

It has been delightful to be the administrator of our data base using Donor Perfect! Any time a co-worker wants a particular report or change in the system usage, I can provide it.

The screens are fairly easy to customize.
The mobile app is used easily by fundraisers in the field.
The DonorPerfect team handled the transfer from our old donor database; they made it simple.

Prices add up for extra features. But we found a package that works well - we made compromises.

Donor Perfect has been such a good product overall. For a medium sized non profit shop it is a great fit

I like the mobile app and the ability to look up donors when out of the office for a meeting. I like the payment processing that has seen much improvement in response to comments - Donor Perfect seems to take the comments seriously and improve their database product

The reports are harder to pull than I thought they would be - it seems like they could be a little more intuitive. We have a great person who can work the reports like a charm, so that is not a big negative for us

Working with the DP Staff is easy and efficient. Getting all our donors moved from our old software to DP was easy and painless.

I absolutely love the customer service. You immediately speak to a live person which is unheard of these days! The Staff is friendly and courteous and very helpful.

There are not too many things I don't like about this Donor data base

I researched a number of options when building the first fundraising program for my new company, and am glad I went with Donor Perfect. It has everything I need and more! My boss is impressed that I can answer any funding or donor questions so quickly...it's my superpower!

Right out of the gate I could confirm donor info, add contact info, and report on my interaction.

As a very new user, I am able to get right to the donor info that I need to get started. Also, the user functions are quite intuitive.

I have not had any issues yet. I am sure I will hit a road block, but it seems that the DP team is very capable to assist.

Overall, I have been pretty much satisfied with the product and would
recommend it to other potential customers, as well.

The program is easy to use. The interface is pretty self explanatory. The
design is very good and as well as the features.

At times the programs runs slow. The other item I would add is being able to search for the donor by phone number, plus being able to find the donor
by date of last contact.

DonorPerfect has multiple package options so that just about any sized agency can access its services and platform without breaking the bank. In fact, it's that point that makes DonorPerfect a superior option to recommend--versatile packages so the excuses for not having a donordata base become extinct.

Customer service with human beings. My first experience with DonorPerfect was in a one-person shop and I needed the customer service portion of the platform to help me use the database appropriately with limited time for the learning curve. I convinced my CFO to purchase the subscription telling him that it was the best employee in the agency--available 24/7, 365 days without time wasted in the break room. When I needed to access the program, even with questions outside of customer service hours, the Help function was specific and accurate to help navigate a database need.

On-boarding process, while comprehensive and responsive, is a bit overwhelming. Lots of information and emails; too many for my preference, but for others it might be ideal.

Customer service is outstanding. Rarely have to wait long and always get competent and correct answers. I think DP was a little late in becoming more visually attractive (form features) but its reporting has always been excellent, its ease of use has improved immensely and I want always to stay with it because one gets answers so easily by phone.

Form design not sleek or fancy. Nothing else.

I like how easy it is to Chat with or call Support. And they are all very helpful with detailed steps on how to do whatever it is I need help with.

Would like more options to personalize some areas.

This product is user-friendly, comprehensive, and comes with tech support that listens, explains step-by-step how to solve problems, and even shows you on your screen how to fix mistakes without being judgmental. Best product on the market by far (and I've used several software packages)!

Generating reports is sometimes by trial and error due to figuring out the proper filters needed. It may just require more practice.
